A lone man wearing a long black robe and a black mantle that dropped to the ground was standing on the vast white-marble bridge that led to Valhalla.

The man's expression was filled with rage, and his stride was quick.

His eyes radiated a furious fire, and his brows were arched.

"Yarof!" With a voice that had been honed over many years of arduous adversity, he screamed.

His voice produced sound waves that were strong enough to collapse mountains and sent visible vibrations through the air.

A vicious older man who exuded ruthless energy suddenly materialized in front of him as he approached the big bridge's end and the enormous jade-white palace on the opposite side.

"What blasphemy has been committed by you that has been heard across Valhalla? Zereth, ruler of wrath."

The enormous muscle-bound hands of the man, who spoke with contempt, brushed his long white beard.

His muscled physique was covered in a long white robe, and a crown of green leaves adorned the top of his head.

The golden sandals on his feet and his hairy calves were also visible.

The white-robed man in front of Zereth, the black-robed man, had given him his fair share of grief in the past.

Because they had been at odds for a very long time at this point.

Yarof warned, "Do not play games with me."

A severed head was abruptly snatched out of thin air by Zereth, who then threw it to Yarof's feet.

Astaroth Galgadrof, Zereth's second in command, was represented by the head.

Yarof instantly developed an expression of surprise as he peered down at the head.

"What gives you the idea that I could conduct such a heinous act?" In shock, he yelled.

Zereth's gaze was angry as she regarded Yarof "Boy, do you dare lie? You are aware of my abilities!" He yelled in his booming voice once more.

Zereth was aware that Yarof had been requesting his demise ever since he first rose to prominence in the Immortal Realm, a very long time ago.

Zereth wasn't of pure Immortal blood and wasn't originally from the Immortal Realm, yet he was nevertheless one of the eight sovereigns who ruled over the Immortal Realm.

Spy operations, fabrications, and betrayals.

Yarof had done almost all in his power to bring Zereth down and had been hostile to him ever since Zereth entered the Immortal Realm.

Yarof's hate of impure blood—a person who was not born in the immortal realm—was the reason for this.

The idea that an impure could even be in the running to become one of the eight sovereigns, let alone succeed in doing so, made Yarof's blood boil.

Yarof quickly broke out into a sly grin.

"You refer to me as boy even though you know I'm far older than you?" Yarof grinned before he started laughing loudly.

"You caught me, I can't continue this wonderful charade! That worm was indeed killed by me. But what difference does it make? You have entered my territory now without sending a single one of your men. Your one flaw has always been this. You think rashly in times of conflict."

Zereth slammed his foot down upon the bridge with force, sending tremors throughout the heavens.

"Do you believe the other kings will allow this to happen? No, it makes no difference whether they permit this to happen! By my own choice, you won't live to see this day's finish!" He screamed.

Zereth's eyes suddenly burst into flame, enveloping the area around them with a dense aura of evil intent that thickened the air by more than 10 times.

As he started to float in the air, his eyes started to glow scarlet.

"Wrath Palms Ten Thousand!"

Thousands of black palms the size of mountains suddenly appeared behind Zereth and began to descend at the speed of light toward Yarof.

Ten separate guys materialized in front of Yarof before the palms touched the ground, guarding him with a strong golden array that resembled a translucent veil.

Yarof screamed, "Hermes!"

A man materialized in front of Yarof and dropped to one knee, bending his head at his command.

"Yes, your superiority!"

"Put the magic erasing array to work."

"It's finished, your supremacy!"

Then, in a second, the guy vanished once more.

Zereth sank to the ground as the beckoning palms abruptly ceased.

"Haha! Now, what will you do? Do you now recognize how serious your predicament is? Without your magnificent magic, you are only an ant!" Yarof grinned.

"You believe that magic is my sole ally?" Zereth screamed, then brought a massive, broad sword made of black metal to his hand and lunged with incredible speed at the ten guys.

Their attempts to avoid being cut in two in an instant in a scene of blood and gore were ineffective.

Yarof's face darkened a little as the blood of his teammates fell upon and coated his body.

"Wa-wait! You canno- " His speech was terminated.

"Yarof, you too have a serious flaw. Going up against someone like me was a mistake on your part!" Zereth said those words with all of his wrath before lunging his blade toward Yarof.

Yarof was completely helpless because his magic erasing array prevented him from using magic himself.

Six additional figures suddenly materialized in front of the large blade and used their combined strength to stop it just before the Blade of Chaos could strike Yarof in the torso.

The immense force of the stopping quickly propelled Zereth back several feet.

"You all? Why are you here? Do not tell me..."

Zereth was aware that Yarof and a few of the other eight sovereigns were nasty cowards who hoped for his demise, but he had not anticipated that they would all be complicit.

"Haha! Did you think you could just walk into my domain at random and kill me that quickly? Die! You scumbag traitor!" Yarof stood behind six men and shouted with his newfound boldness.

'Traitorous?' Zereth had an inside thought.

"These six are unaware of Yarof's crimes. They must have believed him when he told them I was the aggressor."

Instantaneously, the six sovereigns dispersed in six different directions.

"You have broken the divine contract for the treachery of attempted murder of another sovereign, and you will deservedly receive the death penalty!"

As they simultaneously attacked Zereth from all sides, they all spoke at the same time.

Zereth might have been able to handle a few of them on his own, but he had no control over all six of them. Zereth's torso and abdomen were touched by their six palms.

The palms rapidly destroyed all of his internal organs without being able to penetrate his impenetrable skin.

As Zereth's life slowly ended, he looked up towards the sky.

"Hahaha!"

The seven other sovereigns were watching him in his dying moments when he unexpectedly burst into a loud laugh.

"Convinced? You could not possibly be so stupid.

No... you must all have been planning my demise from the beginning. Unfortunately, I lacked the strength to instantly murder everyone."

Zereth turned to look at the other seven sovereigns with a devilish gaze.

A huge grin covered both sides of his face, and his eyes were as big as two planets.

"In reality, this is just the beginning of the end for you.

This is not the end of me.

Wait here till I come back and regret the day you disobeyed the Sovereign of Wrath!" Finally, yelling with a sinister grin on his face.

The Wrath Sovereign passed away that day while grinning, and his legs held him up.

It felt as though he had merely blinked, yet Zereth opened his eyes to an entirely different area.

The agony he was experiencing just a moment earlier all vanished in an instant as if he had been having a nightmare.

He now took a look at himself and his surroundings.

He was in the middle of what appeared to be a lush, verdant forest, standing on a dirt path.

He had a few more paths next to him, all of which led to the same location.

A massive tree the size of the horizon loomed in the center of the walkways. The tree was beautiful to look at.

Bugs flew lazily around Zereth as he walked along the trail.

They were little and nearly invisible.

They appeared to be tiny specks of light that circled him before dissipating because of their brilliant luminosity.

Small birds flitted from tree to tree, creatures rustled in the bushes, and Zereth's hair was brushed by a fast but quiet woodland breeze.

"This is Yggdrasil, the land between realms," He said.

He was familiar with this location because he had used it frequently to transition between several realms.

But because it was against the law to do so, he had never once traversed one of the numerous roads that wobbled from left to right.

"Why am I here?"

He stated it once more before examining his clothing.

Nothing. He had no clothes on.

He then gave his favorite property a worried expression.

"It's still there! The same size, too!" He declared with pride.

"What about my power management system, though? That is perhaps even more crucia- actually, no, it is not."

Even though Zereth waved his hand in the air, nothing happened.

"What?"

He gave it another go, to no avail.

"Ah yes, magic is ineffective in this world."

When he became aware of this, he said to himself, "Open System."

As soon as he said this, his retina was suddenly covered by a transparent blue panel. There were many items on the panel that were written in various languages.

'Good. It still exists. Why on earth am I at this place right now?'

He suddenly became aware of a guy standing at the end of the trail, who appeared to be little larger than a particle of dust in comparison to the enormous tree standing behind him.

'Is that...?' Zereth narrowed his eyes in an effort to make out who was standing there.

The same like Zereth, he had nothing on his body.

He held a pink bow in his hands, and two sizable white wings were attached to his back.

Zereth's expression soured when he realized this. "Don't tell me that's Eros," he said.

When he said this, it appeared that the man with the pink bow had also taken note of Zereth.

"Oh! Zereth, sir! Are you back to play with me this time?" The man blushed and grinned fragrantly.

Zereth shattered the fourth wall by turning to face the camera.

"I beg you, it's not what it seems."

Rivers of tears appeared to be streaming down his face.

He then turned to face Eros again. "You dirty bastard, stop it! Exactly why are you here? What the heck am I doing here, really?" He screamed.

"Combine the two, sweetheart."

Eros chuckled.

Zereth halted moving near the tree and his face went bitter once more.

Then, as he turned to look at the other paths, he counted hundreds of other nude persons moving in the same direction as the tree.

"Don't tell me this is a path of reincarnation," he said.

Zereth's back tingled at the mere mention of it.

He had spent so much time in the Immortal Realm that he was no longer aware of his previous realm. He only knew that it lacked magic and that its inhabitants were mortal.

He nonetheless recalled how challenging it had been to rise through the ranks and eventually become one of the eight sovereigns of the Immortal Realm. To think that he would have to repeat the entire process. No, there was no chance that would occur.

Particularly because he had to exact his vengeance as quickly as possible.

"What are you contemplating, honeybun, as you stand there? Enter the tree right away, please."

Eros talked alluringly.

Zereth was now giving Eros a serious look that a little bit surprised him.

"I won't go through reincarnation. I don't care who makes the order. I can't come back to life".

He demanded.

Eros was a little surprised by this.

"Wow, not many people have the mental capacity to even think in Yggdrasil, yet you seem to have it all worked out. Unfortunately, my darling, there is no easy way for you to escape this."

Zereth's look at Eros seemed like a cutting edge slicing through the air between them.

"Who is going to stop me, then? You?"

Zereth was serious.

"Hahaha! Of course not, that would be stupid. I wouldn't want to hurt you."

Zereth laughed indignantly at this notion.

"You are already on the path to reincarnation, which is a dreadful thing to say. The issue of who is preventing whom is no longer relevant. You will still experience reincarnation even if you never make it to the reincarnation tree. Simply put, there is nothing you can do about it."

Zereth's eyes widened as soon as he heard this. "What? That's impossible! I'm aware it's untrue. There must be a puppet master at work someplace. Who are they? What can I do to stop them?"

"My dear, it's too late. I only wish we had been able to embrace at least once throughout these moments. I regret to inform you that I won't be seeing you again in Yggdrasil."

Once more blushing, Eros spoke.

Zereth exhaled deeply to control his rage.

"Fine! I don't care! I shall still exact my vengeance and mercilessly conquer the realm into which I am resurrected! Therefore, Eros, you should not fear as our meeting today is regrettably not our last."

Zereth spoke those last words as he felt a light engulf his eyesight.

His brain eventually began to feel worn out before he finally lost consciousness.
