10 Tough battle

As the sun rays shined through the forest lighting everything up creating a breathtaking sight, there was Saros sitting on top of the massive bear Otos

Heading towards the wolf's territory, they decided to let the spiders take there comfort again.

'So the plan is to find a lone wolf, kill it, and get its appearance?'

"Exactly, from how you described the wolfs before, it would be very dangerous to fight a whole pack, so we will look for a lone wolf, lets hope that doesn't take forever"

'Indeed' Otos nodded as it would probably take very long to find a lone wolf.

And as they predicted, they spent the whole night waiting and waiting but for no avail, the wolfs always departed in packs of 5 at the least which they couldn't handle.

'This isn't going to work, Saros' Otos said with impatience

"I know, but what can we do about it! these damn wolfs are extremely cautious, we have no choice but to wait patiently"

'I- I think I can bait them' Otos was thinking about doing this the whole day, as this would be the most effective way to prove himself.

"Huh? why would you make yourself a bait! we can just wait"

Otos hid behind a huge rock boulder and waited for a small pack of wolfs, while Saros waited on top of a small hill ready to strike at any second, after what felt like forever a pack of 5 wolfs came running by while chasing a black horned gazelle. Otos immediately bounced on the strongest looking one slashing him and sending him flying, then he ran away immediately, because the only way he was able to cause damage was striking by surprise, otherwise they would've easily dodged.

As the wolfs ran behind otos, the big wolf was slowly recovering and was about to follow behind his pack but a silhouette suddenly dropped from the hill above him at an insane speed, the wolf was ready this time though, quickly dashing to the side using his control over the wind element.

Saros crashed on the ground with his increased gravity, cracking the ground and sending rock projectiles flying everywhere then immediately charging forward, the wolf was surprised by such display of strength so he kept his distance, dodging and slashing with every chance available.

Saros was finding it difficult to do anything to the wolf in close combat, so he used the only option left for him, telekinesis and close combat at the same time.

'Hmph, have you given up already? I don't know what species you are but let me tell, wolfs are undefeated in a one versus one, so you better give up'

"you're right, even injuring you is hard, but... I'm not alone, Hehe"

Saros did the squatting technique then charged at full speed, slashing the wolf with his sword but the wolf managed to dodge and only got a small gash, but before he could even recover, a sword was flying towards him, he tried to dodge but it was an unexpected attack so he could not do it in time and so

The sword opened a huge wound across the wolf's side, causing its speed and agility to drop dramatically, this allowed saros to hit the wolf with devastating blows with his tough fists, at the same time the sword was flying all around the battle striking whenever the wolf was distracted, finally, saros hit the wolf with an uppercut sending the wolf flying, and while he was still in the air saros drove the sword in its head making the wolf fall dead in its own pool of blood.

Saros took his sword out from the wolf's head and cleaned it with its fur, he then paid his respects to the first formidable monster he killed.

Saros then took the wolf's body to a nearby cave and dismantled the hide, and started eating the meat raw since he had to quickly check on Otos.

Saros immediately departed from the cave and transformed himself into a spider, he ran after the wolf's smell at top speed, occasionally jumping super high jumps using gravity until he finally found them, four wolfs were jumping on Otos's body making his body full of deep cuts, he was on the verge of collapsing.

Howl...

'Haha come on catch him' one of the wolfs yelled with excitement

'I can't wait to taste that bear meat, it gotta taste good'

'Just focus on injuring him, come on'

Just as one of the wolfs was about to slash him, Saros came falling from the sky and smashed the wolf head with his legs, but before anyone could react, a black sword pierced another wolf's head, making it two versus two, but otos could only defend as he was exhausted but that did not cause any problem to saros as he knew how to deal with these wolfs now, he transformed back to his humanoid ant shape and charged at one of the wolfs, the wolf smirked as he dodged but before he could continue gloating a sword severed its two front legs and before he could howl in pain, saros's hand smashed the wolf's head into the ground and decapitated his head with his bare hands painting him with blood.

The other wolf shook and shrieked as he tried to run away but saros did not let him go and used telekinesis to throw a shattered rock at him and quickly decapitated him before he could recover.
