31 Chapter 31

[Third Person's PoV]

Kai grew fearful of the monsters behind Futarou, but then he did something he shouldn't have: he blinked.

As he blinked, Futarou disappeared from where he stood, shocking Kai as Futarou's hand suddenly touched his face. Futarou grabbed his face and slammed him to the ground, creating a large crater with him in the middle.

Futarou kept bashing Kai's head into the ground repeatedly, creating loud thumping noises as blood started spilling from the back of his head.

Futarou then launched Kai's body into the air where Tohru appeared and swatted him down using her tail. He crashed back into the ground, creating a large cloud of dust.

Paimon swept her hand, creating a strong wind which blew away the dust, revealing Kai all bloody with a few broken bones, standing up and conjuring a giant ball of water with a large wicked grin.

As he threw his attack, Futarou didn't look impressed; he just pointed towards it and gave out his command in a cold voice, "Orion, devour it." Orion stood in front of the oncoming ball of water, opened his mouth, and gulped everything down.

An idea suddenly formed in Kai's mind. He took out his phone and presented it towards Futarou, "YOU BETTER STAND DOWN, YOU MONSTER! JUST ONE PHONE CALL FROM ME AND YOUR SISTER'S DEAD, YOU HEAR ME, DEAD!"

Futarou looked at him with disdain and made a beckoning motion with his fingers, causing the phone to fly out of Kai's hand as Futarou used Ruler's Authority.

"Wha-" Kai stood stunned as he looked at his empty hands and then towards Futarou, seeing the phone in his hands.

'I should be alright, this bastard doesn't know the password,' Kai thought, still smiling as he looked towards Futarou's eyes.

"Password," Futarou plainly asked.

"334427," he replied back plainly, his eyes turning red, he rapidly started blinking and shaking his head.

"Wha- Fuck!" Kai cursed and realized what he had done.

Futarou just looked down at the phone before going to the messages and checking them out. After finding the appropriate ones, Futarou sent a text, "You can now leave, your work is done. I'll send the money after I'm finished dealing with my business here." After hitting send, Futarou crushed the phone in his palm.

"Now where was I..."

Futarou looked towards Kai and saw him trying to run away. Futarou manipulated the ground around Kai's legs, causing them to wrap around them before turning him to face forward.

"You fucking bastard, release me! Do you have any idea who I am? I'm the Guild Master of a powerful guild with hundreds of hunters at my disposal, ready to kill you at any moment's notice. If you kill me, they will stop at nothing to dispose of you."

Futarou slowly walked towards Kai, lifted him up high using earth magic, and did the same thing he did to his legs to his arms. Futarou then held up a finger, "One, I highly doubt that. You easily and without hesitation tried to exploit me, which shows you've done this a lot of times and have experience doing so. I dare say they would even secretly praise for disposing of you."

Futarou then smiled with his eyes closed as he got even closer, "And two, I really should be congratulating and thanking you."

Kai looked confused as he rotated himself, trying to escape.

"Congratulations on being the very first human I kill in my long journey towards power," Futarou happily smiled. "And thank you for being such a piece of human garbage that I won't develop a bad conscience or experience when I get to kill you."

Water started materializing around Futarou's fist, slowly taking the shape of a large running drill.

Futarou cocked his arm back, while Kai started crying and pleading, growing restless and thrashing around trying to escape.

Futarou thrust his arm forward but stopped just an inch off Kai's heart. Futarou looked towards Tsunade coldly as she grabbed his forearm, stopping him.

"I'll give you ten seconds to release my arms or we're going to have a problem," Futarou said plainly.

"I'm doing this for your own good, kid."

"If it was for my own good, you would release my arm, you have 7 seconds left"

"Killing is a serious offense. Killing a hunter is even greater."

"You think I don't know that? 4, 3..."

"You're going to destroy your future if you go on with this. Don't you have a family to take care of? What would happen to them if something happens to you?"

Futarou let out a sigh, which caused Tsunade to grow hopeful before Futarou started shaking his head, "Seriously, I tried to be nice and friendly."

Futarou dropped down and swept her legs, but Tsunade, being experienced, wasn't taken by surprise and jumped to avoid it before kicking towards Futarou to stop him. However, Futarou countered and blocked with his arm, causing him to wince as he slid back.

The others were about to join, but Futarou once again stopped them, "But why, Master?" Orion asked while they all growled towards Tsunade.

Futarou didn't answer as he disappeared from where he stood and reappeared above Tsunade, performing an axe kick. Tsunade crossed her arms above her head, blocking it, causing a crater to form below them due to the force.

As Futarou landed, both him and Tsunade started exchanging moves, throwing punches and blocking each other's moves. They exchanged kicks, neither moving forward nor retreating. Futarou squatted slightly and threw a punch forward, which Tsunade blocked with her palm.

"Why are you protecting such trash?" Futarou asked as they punched and blocked each other's moves.

"I'm not protecting him. Like I said, I'm protecting you, damn it," Tsunade responded as their figures started to blur.

"I don't need your protection. As you can see, I'm doing just fine on my own," Futarou replied as they both backed away before disappearing and reappearing in different positions.

They continued disappearing and reappearing in different forms, the sound of strong blows occurring occasionally.

"Answer me this, what did he do to warrant such hatred from you?" Tsunade asked, punching the ground causing it to crumble.

Futarou just jumped in the air to avoid it, "He threatened to kill my little sister, photos and everything," was all he said before dropping down and putting his hands on the ground.

"I see..." Tsunade muttered in understanding.

The ground moved towards his hands, creating a gauntlet which he used to punch Tsunade. Tsunade connected her fist with his, causing her knuckles to bleed and his gauntlets to break apart. Her knuckles healed themselves rather quickly as they continued fighting for a few seconds.

"Alright... I'll stop... under one condition."

"What is it?"

"Instead of one A-rank Dungeon like we originally discussed, I want three A-rank and one S-rank," Futarou said as they both got locked in their fighting position.

They both looked at each other in the eyes before Tsunade let out a sigh, "You're a bastard. I hope you do that."

"I say it's a good deal. I'm putting my sister's life on the line by letting him go."

"Your sister isn't going to be in danger. If you give us the items he used to threaten you, we could send him away to prison for a really long time," Tsunade explained.

"..."

'I destroyed them all, even broke the phone trying to look cool,' Futarou inwardly lamented.

Tohru in the back, hearing this, turned back to her human form. She grabbed the piece of the broken phone in her hand and started speaking in a language nobody understood, her dragon language. The phone started floating in her palm and started coming together before fixing itself. She then presented the phone to Futarou, knowing this is what he wanted.

'Tohru for the win!'

Futarou grabbed the phone handed to Tsunade, "Do we have a deal? We can continue fighting if you want? But this time I'll add them to the mix." Futarou then pointed behind him.

"You're seriously using this opportunity to rob me clean, aren't you?" Tsunade asked with a sigh.

"Who told you to get in my fucking way then? You should have minded your own business... but hear this, I'll truly let this matter go. But if a single hair gets harmed on my sister because of this bastard, I don't care if I have to become the villain of the entire world, I'll kill you and every single one of that bastard's family. So you better pray it doesn't come to that."

"There's no need for threats," Tsunade coldly said, Futarou only scoffed at that.

"Can I say a few words to him before you capture him and take him away?" Futarou asked with a cold expression.

Tsunade took a look towards Futarou, studying his expression before slowly nodding.

Futarou took a few steps ahead of Tsunade and brought Kai to his eye level, Tsunade looked at Futarou's back ready to take action if he plans to do something outrages.

Futarou slowly activated his Sharingan as he looked towards Kai without an ounce of expression in his eyes.

Kai started shaking in fear, 'Those eyes... he's not looking at me as a human, to him I'm just another monster from the gates he has to kill.'

"Listen, and listen well..." Futarou then closed his eyes and started smiling before he started patting Kai's cheek with a smile, "Just stay away from my sister, alright?"

Kai rapidly nodded his head with tears rolling down his cheeks. Futarou nodded back before walking away.

As he walked away, Futarou turned back towards Tsunade and made a phone sign with his fingers while mouthing the words, "Call me."

And walking away, Puck and the others returned to regular size, and Puck went to lay on his head.

As they were far enough away, Puck then asked, "What did you do?"

"Excuse me?"

"Don't play coy with me, I know you, Futarou. I was your first spirit. I have known you for a long time. I know you wouldn't put your sister's life on the line for any amount of money or gates, so I'll ask again, what did you do to him"

The others were surprised by Puck's statements, feeling a bit disappointed with Futarou earlier for seemingly relenting too quickly and potentially endangering his sister. But hearing that Futarou had a plan caused their eyes to widen in surprise as they looked at him.

Futarou just smiled but remained silent, "Let's go, I can see Erza, and she doesn't look very pleased."

They grumbled a bit at Futarou's silence but decided to drop it, knowing they couldn't force him to speak.

"I don't want you thinking I didn't join you or try to help you because I didn't want to. I saw you stopping them from joining you, so I knew my help was unwarranted, and you would just make me stand there and watch," Erza explained, clarifying her lack of action earlier to avoid any misunderstanding.

Futarou just smiled and started patting her head, "Don't worry, I saw how fidgety you were during the whole thing. I noticed you with your hand on your sword, ready to jump in. Thank you for looking out for me."

Erza started blushing at Futarou's smile and sincere gratitude, combined with the head pats-it was a deadly combination for her.

"So, tell me what happened?" she asked with a serious expression, to which Futarou sighed.

He then began to recount the earlier events that had just occurred. After he finished, he turned towards her and asked, "Do you mind if we make a pit stop somewhere?"

Erza didn't mind and agreed…
