Chapter 37: Kalameet's an Uncle

(A/n Someone wanted me to do a summary of events up until this point as a recap of sorts. I'll do it this Sunday.)

****************************

After departing from the Nameless King, Sen and Dragonslayer Ornstein, I encountered many more Dragons and dealt with them effortlessly.

More and more soldiers saw me slay Dragons of all kinds with ease.

As I killed them I stored their bodies in my inventory as I went along.

This continued for a while until I came across a large Archdragon.

I had levelled up a lot with the sheer amount of souls I had gained from the slaughter of a majority of Dragons.

The True Dragons didn't have souls since they were born before The First Flame came into existence, thus they possess none.

I restrained the Archdragon using my Devil Bringer arms and held it in place.

I ordered the soldiers to get restraints to hold it and I called over Ciri to watch over it until the end of the war as she has already killed 32 Dragons of varying types which is impressive.

When the Archdragon was restrained I made my way south in my Fauna (Great One Beast) form to reach there as quickly as I can.

Once at the place where the Silver Knight had spoken off, I could see the infamous Archtrees which existed ever since this world had first formed.

It looked like pillars of light wood were holding the sky up, but it was just the sheer size of the Archtrees.

I looked around each of them, hoping to find something of interest.

I did as there were many Dragon Scales and bones from numerous creatures.

I may be able to resurrect them into becoming my grand army once I acquire the necessary Necromancy and Resurrection abilities/spells from the System.

I kept searching and taking as many things as I could find until I came across an interesting find.

There were a few Dragons here and there, but it seems the war will soon end as there are hardly any left.

The Archtree grove I entered had three round black orbs in the centre.

I examined it and one of the three shocked me from its description.

[Archdragon Egg - Dragon Egg of the future warden of the Ringed City, Darkeater Midir]

Oh boy...

I just hit the jackpot.

I took all three Dragon Eggs and placed them in my storage.

I'll deal with them later.

I exited the Archtree and looked around to see if there were more challenges to face me.

There was one.

It flew at blinding speeds towards my position from off in the distance within the clouds above.

When its figure was close enough for me to see, I saw a familiar Black Dragon with a bright red eye in the centre of its forehead.

Many would actually mistake this Dragon for having a single eye, but it actually has two small ones on the side, just the big glowing red eye on tge forehead distracts the attention of many.

Black Dragon Kalameet has come.

I was very excited to have the chance to fight one of the rare few True Everlasting Archdragons born before The First Flame since Kalameet has no Soul the player can acquire upon its death.

(A/n Lore never actually states if Kalameet is born before or after First Flame, so I'm gonna go with before since he is top five most powerful Dragons lore-wise in the series, maybe top three.)

The Black Dragon descended upon my location as it prepared to burn me to cinders with its uniquely coloured fire breath, although it wasn't as Black, and more Orange, Yellow and a Greyish colour.

I took action and rolled to the side, I summoned a spear made of Pyro-Electricity and yeeted it at Kalameet.

Kalameet dodged it as he barrel rolled in mid-air and circled back around.

I also summoned dozens of seeking Pyro-Electro birds that would pursue him and deal tremendous amounts of pain.

Many of them struck Kalameet's body, causing him to roar in pain and anger.

Kalmeet was going to charge towards me again, but his body was wrapped around within tentacles made of Fire and Lighting.

His immobilised body was slammed against the ground, causing one of his wings to be broken in the process.

As I was on my way here, I knew Kalameet would be my superior in mid-air battles, so I had come up with many spells and abilities in the short time I had.

What I just used was an Atlantean spell from DC: Young Justice Season 1, Episode 8. In the episode, it showed a lot of cool Atlantean magic spells, one of which was the Queen's high-level spell to summon a spectral Kraken with many tentacles to attack and restrain foes.

But I made it far more powerful, maybe I should go back to Marvel or to the DC universe some time to learn spells and steal books of magic.

I wonder if Nick Fury is still pissed about how I humiliated him since that time?

He would probably be...Furious...

*cricket sounds*

I tried, can't blame me fir trying to make a pun.

...

As for Kalameet, he was getting to his feet, but I dashed towards him while conjuring some Devil Trigger blades, with a little lighting enhancement to them, to distract Kalameet.

It succeeded as he reared back from the blades piercing his body, as I reached in close wanting to go for his red eye, he arched his back forewards and his red eye began to glow with an audible ringing sound.

Well, shiiiit...

My body became paralysed as I was metres away from cutting his red eye, which was now telekinetically holding me in place.

The red eye began to glow more brightly and I can feel my body begin to cave in on itself and my bones snapped, my muscles and skin were tearing and bleeding and veins, organs and my heart were being crushed and blood was oozing out of my broken body.

This continued for a good minute until I literally became a puddle of blood, my bones were now dust, and my skin was ripped apart so much that it became like shredded paper.

As I was waiting for my body to regenerate, Kalameet had walked away, since he would have to wait for his broken wing to heal, I had a thought come to mind.

Could Scarlet Witch from Doctor Strange 2 actually kill me?

During the events of that movie, she had reality manipulation.

My Fushi Orb Immortality wasn't absolute, so in theory, she could erase me from reality.

I would need to find a better form of Immortality if I am to go to more dangerous worlds, it shouldn't be too hard though.

I just need to become strong enough and then I can easily get Absolute Immortality against Reality Erasure and such from a variety of Universes.

It took about three minutes to regenerate from my pool of blood state, and I decided to count this battle as a tie.

Since I did succeed in stealing the Dragon Eggs which he was most likely guarding but failed to do so because of me.

I was using my Devil Trigger Nero wings to fly back to where I assume the main camp of Gwyn's forces should be at when I saw something interesting.

A lone Silver Knight was standing against an Ancient Dragon that had appeared with only a broken Silver Knight straight sword.

The Silver Knight was shocked by the Ancient Dragons' appearance that he had fallen on his rear side against the ground.

Just as the Silver Knight was about to be devoured by the Ancient Dragon, its head had stopped moving and remained motionless in place.

Seconds later, the Ancient Dragon's head came off cleanly and fell to the ground.

But I saw what really happened.

Knight Artorias had swung his blade across the Ancient Dragon's neck, resulting in him instant killing the mighty creature with a single swing of his sword.

The Silver Knight was barely able to utter out his thanks to Artorias, and the latter simply looked back at the Silver Knight curiously before heading on his way.

So that was Silver Knight Arkon and Knight Artorias' first meeting, huh?

...

If you had forgotten, in the present day of Dark Souls, Silver Knight Arkon in the comics is actually the Black Knight guarding the cell where the Peculiar Doll is located.

Artreus had captured the modern-day Black Knight Hollow Arkon and he is currently in a cell in Artreus' inventory space along with the female Chosen Undead.

Next chap he meets Gwyn.
