Many aeons ago, in a land filled with riches and abundance, where peace reigned unhindered by anything, lived a kind called A'Khina. The realm was painted with lush greenery, its meadows were filled with blooming colours, and its sun was just warm enough so everything could grow and thrive. Seasons changed, and a new ruler rose, determined to bring change into the realm and show her people that there was so much that they hadn't seen or experienced. She broke the sacred law that had kept her kind safe for such a long time and allowed for the very first entry into their realm to one other kind. No Turning Back

" I need to know that you will keep these with all the time," He once again repeated himself, gesturing in accordance to stress how important it was for her to have the Sai daggers on her at any time.

" Alright," She nodded, so he could see that she would do as she was told, " Now tell me what are you hiding?" Groaning, at the discomfort between her legs, Iris pushed passed the tray and settled on the edge of the bed.

" I wouldn't try to walk just yet if I were you," He smirked as he crouched down on his heels, slipping his arms under her knees, and wrapped the other around her back.

" It's just a hunch," He huffed as he pushed himself to stand with her in tow. He didn't ask if she wanted to go somewhere but nonetheless, he took her to the privy.

As he put her down, he took a deep breath for some odd reason. She wasn't that heavy, or at least she most certainly didn't think she was heavy.

He walked out, as he pulled the door behind him, leaving her alone. A hunch. Her mind went back to his words. He's had hunches before. Oros, but at least then, he walked her through his rationale.

A feeble attempt to stand was made, but when her knees gave in, and her muscles barked at her she sat back down, wincing at the pain and sting between her legs.

" Corvin, " She called, and he pushed the door open with his back, smiling, probably at the knowledge that he'd achieved his goal. Arrogant, deceitfully tame when it served him.

Smirking, he stalked to her and once again picked her up in his arms.

" I had Caell make something, pre-emptively. It will ease your pain," She shot him a sharp stare," No, I'm not going to apologise for this one. I wanted to do all the things that I have done," He inwardly chuckled, as he placed her back on the bed and returned with a glass full of greenish brew.

" All in one go," He instructed as he handed her the cup. Desperate to ease off the pain, she downed the entire glass in one go. Grimacing in disgust at the bitter taste of the brew, Iris shot him a sharp glare. Oh, yes there it was, the firestorm in her that ravaged beneath a well-constructed image. Didn't quite give a toss about her anger at that moment.

" That's my good girl, " He purred as he stroked her cheek, catching a dribble in the corner of her mouth.

" I don't know, " She began as she leaned forward on the edge of the bed, and then turned her head to look at him, " If you're insane, or I'm insane as well just by being here with you, willingly, " She smirked, slowly closing her eyes.

" I told you. We can be whatever you want, together. Mad. Terrible. Insane. I don't mind, as long as we are together, " His expression softened on her as he curled his fingers around her neck and shuffled closer.

" And I don't care, If you set this kingdom on fire," He leaned in, nose to nose, in a shared breath, " I will still be at your side," He whispered against her lips, and sucked on her bottom lips, and in spite of the dull lingering pain that pulsed between her legs and in her joints, she felt alight. Alight for him, the same way she felt when he made her his. Locked lips they collapsed on the bed, and she lost herself in his touch, his devouring lips, and his burning skin gliding on hers.

She whimpered at the thought of being with him again when the pain had just subsided a little.

Gasping, her nails dug into his arms dragging across his skin when he eased himself into her. Pain and pleasure fused together, along with chocked-out gasp and moan at the same time. His name rolled off her lips, along with the names of the gods. But he would come before the gods would.

Gripping tight on her hips, their bodies slapped against each other in a frantic rhythm. The embers of lust and pleasure ignited violently burning within, invading every corner of her being, as she succumbed to the hot delicious wave that washed over and away from him.

She jolted awake when she felt him crash on her chest heavily panting. The feel of his cock pulsing against her belly spreading his seed, made her open her eyes.

Letting go of the pillow she dragged a hand through his damp hair, as he struggled to catch his breath.

" You didn't," She whispered, and his breathing stilled at her words, letting out a low moan, almost a growl.

" No. I'm not ready to share you with anyone else," He grumbled, huffing a breath, and caught the hand that mindlessly weaved in his hair.

Lacing his finger with hers, he turned their joined hand and placed a kiss on the back of her hand.

" Not yet, anyway," He added, smirking against her hand, and tilted his head back to look at her, with a grin he rarely had showed to her.

" I understand," She closed her eyes as sprawled himself, fully on her, spreading his seed on both of them.

" We will be late for dinner," He chuckled and hummed as he played with the peak, flicking it and twisting it. His own personal toy.

" They won't even notice. They will be busy being at his beck and call," He added, almost pouting, cupping her beast with his hand and carrying on playing with it.

" Sala knows we are here. If there is any trouble she knows where to find us," He grumbled, inhaling and pressed a kiss on the breast he was using as a pillow.

The sun had fully set on the second day of celebration. One more day and she would have to return south. With or without Corvin. A decision had to be made in regard.

It would be a great ask on her part, but she would try and persuade Dakran to allow him to travel south with her.
