Many aeons ago, in a land filled with riches and abundance, where peace reigned unhindered by anything, lived a kind called A'Khina. The realm was painted with lush greenery, its meadows were filled with blooming colours, and its sun was just warm enough so everything could grow and thrive. Seasons changed, and a new ruler rose, determined to bring change into the realm and show her people that there was so much that they hadn't seen or experienced. Clear Instructions

Feeling Ian's eyes on him, Athan made his way to where Ian and Iris where, taking the fruits from them, placing them on the empty thrones that neither of them were using.

"We need swords and proper clothing!" he demanded while making their way to the back of the cave with Athan closely following them.

Athan made light while Iris and Ian started digging through the chests looking for what they needed.

Iris sighed while looking through the chests, at the amount of things stored in it, thinking that she didn't need all of this.

Opening another chest, Ian found what he was looking for pulling out two blades, one very similar to the one Iris had and the other one slightly bigger, a double edged sword incrusted with black and amber jewels on the handle with an inscription on the blade. Running his fingers along the blade, the writing glowed under his touch making Ian frown.

Clicking his tongue, he got up from his spot and made his way to where Athan was, pushing the sword in front of him " What does the writing say?" he questioned Athan who brought his hand closer to have a better look at the sword so he can read what was written in ancient language.

" Uhm..a new day will begin....he stopped reading while turning the blade on the other side to see if there was more, which made him frown when he realised that what he translated was the final part of the inscription, taking a deep breath in " With this blade our kind will rise again" and "a new day will begin." he gave Ian the full translation while himself pondered on what it meant.

Ian frowned " Our kind are not very good at giving clear instructions !" he smirked at Athan, who gave him a sheepish look, shrugging knowing full well that he was right.

Iris eventually came through in her search, finding something suitable for Ian to wear at the bottom of one the chests, layed a golden attire who looked regal enough for him to wear and in her opinion would suit him very well, putting it aside, she continued her search for herself eventually finding something that looked like a tunic and a pair of pants, who seemed more suitable for what they were going to do, finding the dress was somewhat cumbersome to deal with.

Turning to Ian who kept looking through the chests and Athan who kept the flame alight.

Grabbing the two attires that she found she made her way to them, stopping next to Ian who lifted his head to look at Iris who grining ear to ear.

Standing up to look at her, wanting to know the reason behind it " What made you smile like that, I thought I was the only one who could do that!" he commented feeling a little bothered by her constant grining.

Iris pursed her lips " Look, what I found!" she beamed while showing Ian the attire that she found for him.

Taking it from her hand, looking at it carefully he turned to Athan glaring for his obvious mistake, Athan let a nervous chuckle " I forgot about those, it belonged to your father." he shyly explained while looking at Iris.

" My father?" she asked in suprise with her eyebrows raised, now having more questiones than before.

" Mhm...he was the advisor to the previous Queen. His name was Elios ....." he paused for a moments sensing that she will ask about her mother " and your mother was a priestess in service of the previous Queen, your are carrying her name, it was your father's wish!" he plainly explained while looking between Ian and her.

Iris frowned, a mirriad of questions came into her mind " How come I'm your Queen then, if my parents were only serving her?" she curiously asked while pondering on the matter.

" Our Queens are chosen by the Arkathira before they are even born, we don't have royalty and they ascend to the throne when they come of age." he explained further while trying to simplify things as much as possible.

Both Ian and Iris looked at each other surprised at the wave of news that kept coming at them.

" That can't be right, my parents are dead I saw them die before my eyes. What you are saying make no sense Athan!" she finally uttered in disbelief while frowning, it didn't make any sense to her what he was saying.

Athan pursed his lips, rubbing the back of his neck" Uhm....about that, since we don't know how you escaped the clutches of the guardian, I cant expain what could have happened. I don't know how or what had happened but I'm glad that it did!" he firmly stated while looking a little confused himself.

Ian let out a heavy sigh " We will have to deal with this some other time for now, we need to get changed and get going!" he suggested in a calm voice thinking that this could take some time to untangle, time that they didn't have.

Iris's frown deepened, she wanted to know more but Ian was right they should deal with the three people in the forest sooner rather than later.

Ian turned to Athan " Pass the flame onto Iris!" he beseeched Athan while taking the rest of the clothes from Iris's hand, so she could take the flame from Athan.

Reaching with her hand she poked the flame, the flame wrapped around Iris's finger settling on the back of her hand, while Athan turned around and left them alone, making his way back to Rhya and Tyla.

Ian quickly got out of the clothes that he was wearing, putting on the ones that Iris had found.

Iris gasped covering her mouth with her hand she couldn't believe how well it fitted him, the golden attire looked perfect on him, the jacket was embroidered with silver threads at the hems with buttons on the side, the fabric glowed like the sun under the small light that came from the flame, it fitted him perfectly as they were made for him. She couldn't believe how handsome her husband was, all she could do was ogle at him, drooling over his good looks.

Ian smiled seeing Iris ogle him, raising one eyebrow " How do I look?" he asked in a amused tone of voice, judging by the look on her face he already knew how he looked.

Iris blinked a couple times, a playful smile slowly crept on her face " You look....so handsome." she blurted out without even knowing, making Ian burst into laughter.

Taking a step closer, pulling her into his arms " Now, you know how I feel every time I look at you!" he stated while giving her a gentle kiss on the lips.

Feeling a little flustered " I...I should get dressed too." she mumbled while looking at her hand that had the flame on it.

" Mhm...I will help you get dressed." Ian offered with a glint of mischief in his eyes.
