Fearing the worst, Ruby got out of bed, "What do you think you are doing with my phone without my consent?" she asked angrily as she tried to snatch the phone from him.

"Since when did either of us need to get consent to touch our phones?" Stefan asked, holding the phone away from her reach.

"Touching my phone when I'm asleep is an invasion of my privacy! Do you think you can just go through my phone whenever you like because you are privy to my password? Do you see me going through yours even though I equally know your password?" she asked, pretending to be angry when in truth she was terrified.

She was scared he might see the pictures and videos of her shame. The thought of anyone, especially Stefan finding out about it made her feel worse than she already felt.

"Why are you so upset? Is there something you're hiding?" Stefan asked calmly.
