5 The Aftermath Of The Battle

The cave bore witness to the harrowing battle between the White Tiger and the Red Dragon. As the majestic White Tiger valiantly succumbed to the Red Dragon's might, the deer, a silent spectator, watched in awe and horror. The demise of the White Tiger shook the very core of the cave, leaving the deer frozen in shock.

Amidst the sorrowful aftermath, an unexpected phenomenon unfolded—a vivid Red Spirit Ring emerged from the fallen White Tiger's body.

Astonishment enveloped the deer, realizing the White Tiger possessed the immense cultivation age of a 100-thousand-year-old Spirit Beast. "The cub's mother, was actually a hundred thousand years old Spirit Beast?" The deer muttered in its mind incredulously, its mind reeling from the revelation.

Glancing at the unconscious White Tiger Cub, the deer felt a pity towards the cub.

CRASH~~

However, before it could act further, the Red Dragon's colossal body landed beside the White Tiger's corpse. The sheer force of the dragon's landing shook the very foundations of the cave, triggering a cascading landslide that sealed the cave with colossal boulders.

~Quake~

Caught off guard by the sudden upheaval, the deer acted swiftly, realizing the imminent danger posed by the collapsing cave. Hastily, it seized the White Tiger Cub and darted toward the sprawling Spiritual Spring Water Lake, the safest refuge in this chaotic moment.

ROAARRR~

The deer didn't know what the Red Dragon would do to the White Tiger's body, but the Red Dragon's loud roar made the deer not want to think about it anymore, and put its focus on escaping from the falling rocks in the cave.

Hours passed in a blur as the deer struggled to navigate the treacherous path, dragging the unconscious cub toward the sanctuary of the Spiritual Spring Water Lake. Breathless and fatigued, it finally reached the safety of the lake's tranquil shores, collapsing from exhaustion after ensuring itself and the cub was out of harm's way.

Two days elapsed in a haze of exhaustion and recuperation. The deer, drained of its energy from the herculean task of rescuing the cub with its little baby deer body, lay in a state of deep rest. The energies spent in hauling the cub's weighty form had exacted a toll, necessitating an extended period of recovery.

As the deer stirred awake, blinking to adjust its vision, it found itself met by the curious gaze of the White Tiger Cub.

"Rao~~?"

Uncertain and perhaps slightly wary, the cub stand in front of the deer, contemplating its presence with a mix of curiosity and uncertainty.

Startled by the cub's scrutiny, the deer cautiously rose to a sitting position, eyeing the cub warily yet not without a sense of empathy.

Unsure of the cub's intentions, it attempted to convey a sense of calmness and non-threat through its posture and demeanor.

"Please don't kill me! Please don't kill me!" The deer's mind was filled with those words, hoping the White Tiger Cub would not attack him.

The silent exchange between the two beings lingered, both caught in a moment of uncertainty.

However...

"RAWRR~~"
