2 Colossal White Tiger's Prey

Within the chilling silence of the outer realm of the Great Star Dou Forest, the deer-like Spirit Beast faced a harrowing ordeal. Paralyzed under the Colossal White Tiger's predatory gaze, it was a moment of resigned acceptance, akin to a prey confronting its natural predator. Despite the passage of time, the tiger remained motionless, shrouding the deer in an aura of despair.

"GROWWLL~"

Attempting a retreat back into the cave, the deer's hope was dashed by a menacing growl, freezing it in place. Stupefied and trapped, the deer felt the weight of impending doom hanging in the air.

"Why I can't see it's status? Is it because of the Cultivation-age gap?"

"Perhaps, it is a tiger with a thousand year old Spirit Beast cultivation-age, or even higher?" the deer thought while trying to guess even though it didn't know how to measure someone's Cultivation-Age.

Unexpectedly, the Colossal White Tiger shattered the tension. Astonishingly, it opened its jaws, revealing an unconscious White Tiger cub nestled within. Carefully, the colossal tiger groomed the cub, glancing coldly at the deer before hastening away, leaving the cub and the deer behind.

"W-wait what?! Nah-uh" The deer gritted its teeth. "Not today, Mama Tiger! I refused to be your cub's food!" Understanding the tiger's intentions, the deer refused to become nutrition for the colossal tiger's cub. Soon, the deer retreated into the cave, abandoning the white tiger cub to its fate.

Before returning to the cave, the deer tested its system to check the status of the White Tiger cub. However, it was only after a few tries that it realized that the system only worked to view its own status and no one else.

As the deer retreated into the cave, he recalled seeing a gaping wound on the colossal tiger's back previously before the tiger left, there was a telltale sign of a vicious predator's assault. Realizing the treacherous nature of this world, the deer, unable to venture outside for food, resorted to consuming its own eggshells.

Munching on them, the bewildered Spirit Beast mused, "This truly is a fantastical world. A deer hatching from an egg—it's unimaginable. But it's keeping me alive for now."

"I can't be a picky eater for now, at least with these egg shells I can last a few more days."

The egg shell was actually rich with Spiritual Energy, which was the main nutrition for Spirit Beasts. If the deer remembered correctly, as long as a Spirit Beast could absorb enough Spiritual Energy in daily, it could survive for days without any food.

With a now-full belly, reflection settled in. "I've only just reincarnated, yet I narrowly escaped death. What a terrifying world."

Resolute to survive, the deer embarked on a quest for food within the cavern's depths.

4 days passed, and its muscles strengthened, enabling the deer to walk normally with its four legs. Seeing this, the deer was completely stunned at how fast the spirit beast's growth.

Finaly after exploring the vast cave, the deer stumbled upon a wondrous sight—a colossal spiritual spring, brimming with revitalizing energy.

Swoshhh

"Eureka! This spiritual spring could sustain me for centuries without the need for food!" The deer overwhelmed with excitement.
