Chapter 80: Dark Golden: Three Headed Bat King

Word count = 2391 on 9/10/2023 -Happy birthday to me

It has been a few months now since the coronation and Xue Tie had his 20th birthday party with his close friends. Dugu Bo, Ning Fengzhi who has courted the now pregnant Xia Wei. Their marriage will occur in the following month. They received their congratulations. On the other hand, Xue Tie has reached level 90 after having nearly all his citizens flood him with energy through Xia Wei's bond ability. This was considered her last act for Xue Tie as his student. She is moving in with Fengzhi now. He warns Fengzhi to have her visit otherwise Xue Tie would hit him.

After making fun of Fengzhi sweating and bidding Xia Wei goodbye he also departs from his home. He has a target in mind for one of his 9th spirit rings. If need be. He can cancel his 6th and 7th from his trident as those didn't provide him any spirit power boost like normal. They are just stronger due to harnessing destined death.

There is a severe lack of suitable targets for his growth that he may have to look for 90k year old beasts to hopefully make into 100k year old beasts.

As for his current target, it is the Dark Golden: Three Headed Bat King. Ya know, the one that is the true ruler of Slaughter city? Manipulating its host Tang Chen on behalf of the asura god? Why yes, he does plan to reclaim Slaughter city while also getting his 9th ring. Was it so obvious?

Xue Tie took flight and after traveling for a day. He arrives at Slaughter city entrance. He won't bother going through his clan's entrance. He arrives at a bar that seemingly in the middle of nowhere next to the giant fog covered city next door. He enters and the floorboard creaks upon his entrance. All the inhabitants look at him as he approaches the bar. Due to a lack of cameras. Nobody really knows who he is even though he is an emperor now.

He approaches the bar. "What can I get for you?"

"The entrance for Slaughter city. Just push the button unless you want to die. I have no interest in some stupid poison that won't work on me so let's skip the bloody mary." He releases the pressure of a spirit douluo as until he gets his ring, he is not an official titled douluo. The barkeep sweats upon the aura and is hunched over. He leans in and presses a button, revealing the entrance as a fake wall moves and a staircase shows itself.

Xue Tie moves to the stairs and heads in through the door. It closes itself behind him, getting locked and the only thing before him is a tunnel. He spends a few minutes going through it before arriving in Slaughter city…officially this time.

He makes his way through the city before arriving at the main gate that serves as the barrier to the bridge and river of blood under it. The Slaughter king's palace is on the other side of the bridge and his clans tunnel is just off to the side next to the river.

He approaches the gate and is stopped by guards. "We don't recognize you. You are not worthy of the trials."

The true BloodGods domain flows out and suppresses the guards. "I don't care about your trials. Im here for your king. Step aside or ill make you"

They do so while still under pressure. Xue Tie dismisses the domain and summons his martial spirits. Some of them recognize his robes as the one who caused a slaughter roughly 2 years ago. They begin to discuss it once he leaves. He makes his way on the very crappy bridge that has been repaired many times over the years. Patchwork metallurgy all over that it's akin to a jigsaw puzzle. One that has no end nor beginning as various pieces are fuzed together while others are hammered in.

He steps before the giant black and red castle that was to be designated for Mohgwyn. A deep pressure that has a blood coloring is emitted from the palace entrance. The steps seemingly made out of obsidian as he climbs up and enters the main hall. A cloaked figure that is the source of the aura is sitting upon a thick throne. The cloak is not any form of clothing but the leathery wings that cover the figure

"Who are you to approach me?" A thick and heavy voice resounds out, questioning Xue Tie.

"I am the true lord of Slaughter city by birthright. You and Asura are false pretenders. Begone from here and leave the tang behind. Or don't and become my spirit ring oh bat king."

HIISSSSS

The slaughter king hisses at Xue Tie as he gets up. "Watch your tongue Mohg-born. You have no jurisdiction here. This land belongs to Asura." The Slaughter king states

"It is not I who is mistaken here but you who was born in Mohgwyn and kidnapped by the vile fiend that is Asura. Claiming this city as his own and undermining your true purpose to serve as the guardian here. Relegated to using this flimsy avatar and holding no strength of your own as Asura was blind to your true strength. COME OUT. KNEEL BEFORE YOUR TRUE LORD AND I SHALL GIVE YOU YOUR PURPOSE" Xue Tie retorts and ends with a shout.

The slaughter king rises from his chair. His red eyes trained on Xue Tie. he steps towards him. The fit but pale body of Tang Chen is in full display with red tattoos on both sides of his chest. The influence of the bat king was obvious.

The height of the slaughter king is only just up to neck level with Xue Tie. With his height at 7' 4". This depicts Tang Chen's height at 6' 6". (his height is just listed as 2 meters tall. I rounded up)

Xue Tie smiles at the silly confrontation. "Oh I should also mention that Spirit Hall has begun attacking the Clear Sky Clan because the newest generation hero and Clear Sky Douluo Tang Hao is married to a 100 thousand year old spirit beast. They have a kid who should be born within the next week or so based on what I know"

Xue Tie barely even gets halfway through his words as the Slaughter King grabs his head and begins thrashing around and roaring.

"Here buddy, let me help with that" Xue Tie coats his hand in death and touches Tang Chen's head. Death severs the connection between Tang Chen and the Bat King. a shadowy figure escapes from Tang Chen's back, taking the wings with it and reforms into the Dark Golden: Three Headed Bat King.

'The creature's body is more than four meters long with two enormous claws and each claw being one meter or more in diameter with sharp talons. It is deep golden in color when the pair of enormous wings are unfolded, the wingspan reaches ten meters. It has three heads.' (wiki description)

The three bat heads screeched in pain as its parasitism was cut. It towers over Xue Tie who summons his trident to stab at it while activating his 3rd ring and a cloud of noxious gas forming around it. The bat retreats and uses one of the many openings in the ceiling to escape the castle walls. It knows about Nihil and thus is aware that close range is not good for it.

It rises high up but what it didn't know is that Xue Tie can also fly. He spreads his wings while Tang Chen simply lies on the ground as he has suffered intense mental and soul abuse under the bat king's control.

The Bat king is shocked by the wings on his back but quickly dodges the spear stab as it's Xue Tie's simplest move when he is flying. Just turning himself into a rocket. Seeing the bat dodge again. He summons his external skull bone and begins to shoot lasers at it.

This forces the Bat king to constantly evade as the few times it tries to get close and use it's abilities, Xue Tie would unleash a powerful beam at it.

This creates a stalemate between them as they both have great mobility but it's only Xue Tie who has higher grade ranged attacks which is his laser. Most of his abilities are close to mid range abilities. As such, it has become a game of air tag. The bat king is trying to hit Xue Tie without being grabbed or hit while Xue TIe just wants to get the bat king.

Their game of cat and mouse ends when mid flight, Xue Tie cancels his wings which causes the bat king to crash into him but as Xue Tie was prepared for this. He is able to grab it's leg before bringing it's wings back and slamming it onto the ground and stabbing his trident onto it's wing. Pinning it to the ground.

"Here buddy, your looking a bit weak" he says teasingly and activates the 1st ring which begins to refine the body of the three headed bat king.

As beasts grow older, their bodies get stronger. One of the many theories is that a beasts body is the strongest representative of their age. Sooo, if Xue Tie ages the bat king, will it's ring be higher even before he refines the ring?

"Welcome to JackAss, I'm your host Xue Tie. and Today we are mutating a giant bat to see if we can make Mothra."

"Or will you become Ghidorah since you have 3 heads?" he questions as the bat king continues screeching in pain as it's body is coated in veins. In preparation, Xue Tie also charges up the most he can on

10 minutes it's still good.

30 minutes. It stopped screeching at least

45 minutes

1 hour it's still going.

2 hours. Taking it like a champ

4 hours. Now we are just getting bored.

5 hours. "Alright, thats enough. Time to die." Xue Tie says but before he actually end it with a good ol fashion nihil. A new pair of arms sprouts out of it's side that stretch quite a bit and hit him in the face. Knocking him some distance away.

Xue Tie unleashes the laser beam through it's torso. Cutting it clean in half but the unexpected occurs. The cut off torso. Yea it flops over and a new waist and legs immediately manifests

"Um, hello deadpool."

"Hahahahahaha" The bat king begins laughing as 6 more heads manifest.

"Ha. hail hydra indeed" "you fool. DIE" The now nine headed bat king charges at Xue Tie. It's wings transform into bulky fists that give mugshot from Sly Cooper a run for his money (the joke is he cant run since he is a reverse trex. Small legs, big arms that he uses to 'walk' with).

Xue Tie tanks the bunch with the default state of his robes before activating his 5th ring to summon fire tornados to burn the bat king whole. It naturally ignores the fire as its body heals just as quickly as it burns.

"Tres" Xue Tie establishes the red ring as he needs as much fire power as he can get. He also sets up the 6th ring-primal burst and tries out his domain on it to see how the bat king responds to each form of it. Domination weakened the bat king but did nothing against its healing abilities. Same result with Slaughter Assault.

Which means he settles for the self buff with armament.

He also summons his avatar who helps Xue Tie begin pummeling the bat king. Or at least that would be the case if it couldn't just summon out more arms to combat his avatar. The fire tornado is still ongoing and so it's not like Xue Tie is actually getting wounded due to his vampirism. The bleed procs serve as good stuns on the bat king.

Xue Tie can only continue his work by establishing more rings. He doesnt even bother being flashy and calling it out as the 2nd and third ring are made. Xue Tie then recalls his trident which had been left behind where the bat king was stabbed. It had torn through it's own refined body to knock him away.

"NIhil" Xue Tie thrusts his spear up but even when it's outright max power. It seems to do little to the bat king who simply screeches with it's 9 heads. As such Xue Tie stabs the bat king with his trident and activates destined death. The wisps of darkness phase through it's body multiple times as it falls to it's knees to which he follows up once more with Nihil. It's body explodes and a red ring that quickly morphs into a colorless ring reveals itself.

"Haaa . haaa. Haaa" Xue Tie is breathing hard as even if he has a large amount of spirit energy, he is still human and has a limited stamina which is only backed by his pure cultivation.

He dismisses the avatar and tornado that has melted the surrounding land around them.

He begins to absorb the ring after drinking multiple potions. Which is a wise decision as he surely has absorbed a mutated ring. It seems the theory was right and aging the body like this actually makes it's age higher. So he directly increased it's age to roughly 900k years old. It might have even been a million year old variant ring but he cant really tell at the moment. He just knows a ton of energy is flowing through him. He has to regularly drink potions whilst suppressing the energy. This creates a bit of waste but as the ring settles down onto his armor. He finds that he has a skull bone in his lap.

The information of his new 9th ring flows through his head and he smiles

"BEST DAY. EVAAAAAAAAA"
