Chapter 119: Aftermath and Family

With chaos leaving the divine realm and no leftover influence from it being found in the divine realm. The gods finally settle down. The god kings went back to their regular lives except kindness who had been preparing the burial for the old deceased gods that either died under Xue Tie's manipulated rampage or when Shade was originally alive and killed many gods, beast or human. Due to their dead bodies being so extensively recreated. They still contained the leftover divine essence in them as if they recently died.

Speaking of gods who died, Xue Tie collected the godhead of the Dream God Morpheus, one of his personal casualties. When questioned about this, he stated.

"My power might have been disconnected from the Reincarnation godhead but the river has been without a manager long enough. And I would rather use my time a bit more wisely when i'm awake. So ill just work whilst asleep." They seem to accept this reason though many of the weaker gods don't like Xue Tie due to his actions. Even when they learned that he was effectively being mind controlled by the ancient enemy, Chaos. They still retained a grudge.

Granted Xue Tie doesnt care about them as with just death alone he could kick their asses. Not to mention the new dream powers he is currently integrating. Not to mention the fact that his realm has again reduced to the lower limit of the divine realm. Level 100 God officer. As for how he is taking in the Dream Godhead, Tang San himself showcased how it was possible to contain 2 godheads. Two souls in one body, Tang San and Xiao Wu while in his case it's Xue Tie and the original soul from his old life. His old lifes soul is fragmented and the fragment that is Xue Tie had merged with the original soul that was for this body. This was done through an expert maneuvering of the samsara powers.

Thus, by technicality, he has 2 complete souls inside his but with the other being fragmented, it is thus comatose and he has full access to both powers without exploding. This is the very same reason the other gods accepted such a resolution as he didn't die from the outburst of energy.

As for Xue Tie's plans. He first went to a random corner of the divine realm and used the dream powers to materialize himself a house. Then he promptly sits down and does the forbidden action. Contemplates his life.

He reflects upon all the actions of his life to see what was him and what wasn't. He learned that it wasn't actually his idea for his early spirit rings, the creation of his Blood hall organization. Part of his mentality was also controlled during the creation of his kingdom back then. He realized that once the first envoys of the food god arrived and he absorbed the potion energy from their bodies through nihil. Shade had planted the suggestion to openly declare himself which is what led to the next battles and him almost dying only to unlock a fake twin martial fusion during the battle at the Balak Kingdoms capital. He was being so high strung and open about his actions to become depicted as the great evil so the 'righteous' food god and even the Rakshasa goddess who believed she was seeing a second Moghwyn rise up wanted to stop him and thus sent their pawns after him only for them to be devoured and strengthen Shade.

But he did realize that even though he didn't want these things, it still happened and his own will was to create the Blood Beasts, assist the spirit beasts of Star Dou Forest through their agreement. As well as all the benefits he had provided to his people. He acknowledges that he has a sense of responsibility to them and willingly drives his divine power to connect to the orb he had given them long ago.

He first purges the corruption from the orb since he can now recognize it easily, then sends out pings in hopes of Du Lie visiting at some point while he starts his new job and the reincarnation manager.

Fortunately, he doesnt have to wait long and instead it's his work that is delayed as it seems that since his ascension and subsequent disappearance, Du Lie had been hovering around the orb for any changes to indicate he had actually died.

"Teacher, you're ok!!!" Xue Tie hears his former student breathe a sigh of relief.

"Of course, did something happen? It's been quite eventful since I ascended.

"Teacher, it has been 2 months since you ascended" Du Lie reveals which shocks Xue Tie a bit before he understands that there is a time dilation between the Divine Realm and the Douluo World.

"I see, has anything major happened since my disappearance? How is Bibi?" Xue Tie questions as he is sure a lot has once news of him possibly dying spread out.

"Heaven Dou Empire made a memorial in your honor even though there was no confirmation from the Empyrean Empire. Star Luo's capital celebrated for 3 days and 3 nights, you were akin to a heart demon to them. Neither side made any crazy moves as the power of the empire along with the blood halls is still more than enough to keep people wary of our strength. It's actually Spirit Hall that had the most change. They recently appointed a new pope as the old pope Qian Daoliu had been managing things for a while. News was released that the pope was in seclusion for a breakthrough but no one can confirm until recently during the new pope coronation. He appeared and appointed the new pope, stating they were a newest holy child raised in Spirit City to succeed in his legacy." Du Lie continues explaining the situation with the new and old popes of Spirit Hall.

Xue Tie almost burst into laughter at the explanation as he clearly remembers killing Qian Xunji during his Sea God long ago. He assumes the Spirit Hall elders had someone impersonate Qian Xunji to keep up appearances since during his mortal times, no news was released at all about the pope dying or anything. The other thing that made him laugh is the fact that the new pope is only a few years old. Nothing more than a child, the most shocking fact about him is that he possesses the Seraphim Martial Spirit that originally belonged to Qian RenXue. Bibi Dong's and Xunji's 'love' child[1].

Xue Tie can only assume that after his branding process, Qian Xunji had gone on to have a child with another woman as he could not find someone like bibi dong again so while he settled for less as the new pope was some innate level 20 figure but reportedly innate level 10 just like Xunji. Granted Xue TIe himself does not care. The child is not worry for him but he is interested in how the world will develop from this point forward as he has influenced so much.

He also learned that Bibi Dong had been in seclusion since his disappearance. He worries for her as it was his own conscious decision to be with her so he doesnt regret his emotions for her.

Xue Tie learns how the martial artifacts he left behind have been used to continue the Blood Beast work, a new worker was made to ensure the beasts continued their cooperation. Xue Tie believes the Silver Dragon Empress was the one who ensured the good faith work here. With his new divine powers, Xue Tie explains the various benefits he is currently able to provide to them as his own faith energy accumulates, limited to various blessing just as mental enhancement, spirit blessings which temporarily boost someone's talent to even possessing a willing individual to serve as his temporary host of death in case of emergencies. The simple blessings don't cost as much but the others are hefty in quantity.

Xue Tie finally lies down to rest and get to work.

He only wakes up a month later to find someone kicking down at his door. He reluctantly gets up from his dream work, his body a bit lethargic from messing with time inside the dream so he can work better and longer with breaks in between.

He opens the door to find a teary-eyed beauty in front of the door.

It's Bibi Dong, and she is pregnant!!

[1] For those that don't know, Renxue was not believed to be in a consensual relationship which is why Bibi Dong killed Xunji in the original story, but it was blamed on Tang hao.
