The fight between Xue Tie and the Asura god had been going on for the past half an hour. Neither had been using their killing moves as they both gauge each other. Yet in the contests of power that had been going on, Xue Tie always had the upper hand as the Asura god accumulated multiple injuries.

Some are on his legs, and chest but a few smaller scale ones are on his arms, but those are no more than bruises. The most defining injury on him is the stab wound on his clavicle (upper chest-part of the collarbone). It's an injury that weakened one of his arms but it was on his nondominant side of the body. So other than some pain as he increases his speed and power, he is still able to fight casually.

Xue Tie on the other hand has exceptional injuries which ensured that he only got bruises at most on his body. They were previously cuts of various sizes but none were exceptionally fatal. His body's enhanced natural healing aspect turned them into bruises.

They were all caused by the Asura gods Asura sword which honestly looks like a knockoff Soulcalibur with a central red eye but yellow draconic pupil near the hilt that extends with a red silver blade that has golden writing on the flat parts of it.

Xue Tie has no idea what it actually says nor does he care but he remembers this sword is supposed to function under the premise of righteousness and judgment. The blade itself releases a sort of cold aura that is not frost based but instead on the cold logical aspect of judgment itself.

To Xue Tie, it is funny that the Asura god who is the personification of slaughter and killing wields a sword of judgment and fairness.

As their battle continued, they had moved all around the divine realm instead of staying in one place. They both notice the other gods moving about strangely but Asura God is more annoyed that they haven't tried to assist him yet. Especially since Xue Tie is only just a newly crowned god who unnaturally rose to his current power. The armor boost is real but it's only proportionate to his current base power which was elevated by absorbing the food gods soul.

It's just that as time progresses, Xue Tie gets used to his new power and is gradually fighting better and better according to his new power. The clones which he creates from his helmet are especially annoying as they have his initial ascension power and gradually are strengthened as they equalize with the main body. So to the Asura god, fighting a 1v10 is not something he predicted to happen to him. 9 god officers who are quickly reaching the level of 3rd class gods while the main body is realizing the true power of a quasi god king while he himself, the Asura God. is a true and proper god king, yet he is being pushed back.

To even out the odds against him, he opens a spatial rift which allows his sword to forcibly summon the God patrol. A group of red foggy third class god level spirits that wield red scythes and they emit murderous intent. Formed out of Asuras own seed of killing divine core combined with his 'sword of judgment'.

Unfortunately, Xue Tie's clones also possess Samsara powers and thus are able to absorb the foggy murder spirits to serve as their own nutrients which only intensifies the pressure on the Asura God.

His rage is potent and only grows more and the fight continues. The Asura god had long unleashed the full power of his Asura sword and summoned his other martial spirit, the Asura god armor which is different from the god armament of the asura god. This is a true divine artifact made from his very essence and domain. The pair of purple red wings sprouted from his back. This was useful in the fact that it could launch projectiles of energy at Xue Tie and his clones to distract them or interrupt their various coordinated attacks. It also nullifies Xue Tie's attacks by roughly 50%.

"Asura Blood Sword Move- Annihilation cut" The Asura god proclaims as he gathers a horrendous amount of his energy and even a large portion of the divine realms energy to manifest a slash that seems to casually ravage the very void before him.

Xue Tie quickly absorbs a portion of the energy from his clones. He wanted to absorb all of it back into himself but the clones were destroyed in their entirety by the sword slash. Nevertheless, his boosted power begins to reach the domain of god kings. He creates a powerful barrier to hopefully block the sword slash. Yet that is the least of his worries as the other gods choose this moment to unleash hundreds of different types of attack at him at the same time.

"Well. fuck" Xue Tie comments as he tries something new as he learns various aspects of the Samsara river.[1].

Reincarnation is the manipulation of a vast amount of energy, which means his samsara powers allow a control over other energies…to a certain degree. So with inspiration from an anime. He turns his barrier, fast enough that it revolves. This makes it so that the incoming energy attacks are dragged along with not colliding with each other. At least until they strike against the Asura gods 'Annihilation cut'

The collision of different divine powers was enough to not have completely killed Xue Tie but he still suffered a powerful enough cut that pierced through his death god armor and almost split his body horizontally into two above the breast area. With just a sliver of flesh and armor left on his body. He rushes at one of the nearby god officers that just attacked him and kills him by ripping his head off with his physical force. Luckily, Xue Tie had his arms raised so it's only his chest that was injured during the collision. He absorbs the soul of the dead god officer which also provides him a burst of healing to mend the grievous injury.

The Asura god could not follow up on his attack immediately and could only rage inside as he witnessed Xue Tie surviving his killer move.

'Damn, he almost pulled a South Park Canadian on my chest.' Xue Tie complains internally at the power of a true Ultra divine grade weapon. Xue Tie pats his chest as he gazes at all the gods who just attacked him.

"I have no grudge against you all but you still attacked me in my most tumultuous moment. So you best not regret your actions this day." Xue Tie proclaims and the god officers and weaker class gods begin to run as they have been warned against becoming Xue Tie's nutrients.

Yet, running from Xue Tie isn't so easy as he spreads his raven like wings from his armor. He quickly kills off a few more god officers nearby and then his first 3rd class god. He would continue further but a holy light shines upon him as the goddess of life and the goddess of kindness. Two godkings working together ask this of Xue Tie, "Please hold back your rage. We promise not to interfere in your fight any longer. Please don't cause anymore mayhem"

"Kindness, Sheng Ming, why do you both interfere now? You know the behavior of all these Samsara gods. They are the cause of all misfortune. It's his predecessor that killed the dragon gods' children which caused the Divine war, the death of the dragon god if Asura didn't split him back then as well as the killer of all other beast gods back then."

"We simply don't wish to see more suffering" The two goddesses response but are just rebuked by their friends as Asura himself says

"It is the reason why only humans remain in the divine realm. Mutating the very seal the dragon god himself set to prevent beasts from ascending. The river had been corrupted by the chaos and influence of the abyss. We can see the madness evident within him right this moment."

[1] I originally planned to end the chapter here but I realized it wasn't long enough of a word count so I'm continuing.

I confess a major plot hole in my story in regards to the Asura god as for some reason, the Asura god has a different wiki page than Asura himself. And there it shows a bunch of story related information long before Douluo Dalu starts. Not just a few hundred years before canon like I made it out to be. I plan to clear this misunderstanding soon and how the real story played out.

I again apologize for my lack of research, i am quite lazy.
