25 Out in the sea

Back to the present:

Brook looked at Acreus and asked," So what do plan on doing after getting out of the Florian triangle?"

Acreus thought for a while and answered, "I don't know, maybe I could try finding my father"

Brook scoffed after hearing that," Your father, you don't even know his face or where he is "

Acres calmly replied, "Well, he was a marine, so he might be in the marine."

"Hmm, so do you know how to get to the Marines?" Brook questioned.

Acres stayed silent, slightly lowering his head.

Brook sighed!

"Look, kid, you don't know much, do you? "

"It's already six years since you disappeared and who knows what happened in all these years. For all we know, your father might have died or started~"

Brook was cut off from completing his sentence,

"Yeah, I understand!"

"so why did you call me here for, old man."

Brook chuckled while saying, "Well nothing much just to give you this,"

In his hand, was a skeleton mask, used for covering the upper part of the face.

Brook said," Well you will need to hide your face otherwise you may not get a chance to join the Marines if someone recognizes your face."

He passed the mask to Acreus, and said, stay here for as long as you need kid, gain some experience and knowledge, and decide what to do with your future then.

Acreus wore the mask and asked, "Is that all, old man?"

Brook replied," Yeah, just take care of Bolton since he is weaker than you, you don't need to do anything else."

As he started going towards Bolton, who was busy talking with someone, he heard Brooks's voice from behind" By the way call me Momonga from now on"

Hearing this Acreus stopped for a sec, and continued moving.

Brook thought about his first conversation with the kid in two years,

After Brook exchanged blows with the kid using haki for almost a year the kid finally awakened his armament haki

After that, he trained the kid in haki, and battle techniques for three years.

It would have probably been hard to teach a child peacefully, who was angry to the point of pushing his body just to defeat him.

But, Brook having expected this, wrote a diary and placed it in one of the rooms which could only be found by observation haki but impossible otherwise.

So, when the child unlocked the observation haki, he would find the diary.

The diary contained a description of his adventure along with his crew. Though he did this because one of the previous Brooks crew had a dairy. He simply copied most of the parts excluding his devil fruit and their encounter with Laboon.

However, the main highlight of the diary was, how his crew got stuck in the Florian triangle and got poisoned in a battle, as every one of the music-loving pirates sang their last song as a way to end their journey.

He even dropped some water droplets on the last page, which contained how their crew died while singing their last song. After losing all his crew, the Rumbar pirate's journey came to an end, except for Brook who somehow survived and turned into a skeleton.

He also wrote the time indicating his age, so his change in character, and his demand for strength could also be attributed to trauma and long isolation afterward.

Also, there were a few bounty pictures of him on the ship which further validated his point.

So after finding that who they thought was some monster of the Florian triangle turned out to be just an old man stuck in this sea, the duo in the ghost ship didn't know what to do, although, they let their grudges and wariness.

Currently, the ship was sailing in the calm blue sea of the first half of the Grand Line.

There weren't any accidents or problems reaching here. They simply came out of the fog.

It had only been around 12 hours and the ship already managed to get out of the Florian Triangle.

As the ship was traveling peacefully, another pirate ship appeared in the far distance.

As everyone was starting to observe it, the ship started steering toward them.

As the crew saw this they started to panic with their previous captain's loss. And the new captain just slept on the ground, he didn't even move seemingly as if dead.

But as they were getting confused they heard the voice of Bolton," preparing for battle".

As the pirates started to prepare the ship for battle, he went to the sleeping brook and asked.

Old man, "Should we attack them or not"

Hmm, a red tint flashes in his eyes as he said, "Go gather the pirates, I'll wait for you at the row of the ship."

He went to the front of the ship and took out the great sword in his back, the sword was around 7ft tall, with a sharp tip like an elongated knife.

(Brook made the armor and swords by freezing bone dust )

As the ship neared each other.

All the pirates gathered at the sides of the ship ready to exchange cannon fire with the enemy ship.

As all this was happening, Brook held the sword handle slightly above his head and jumped off the ship.

As he started falling toward the ocean with a slightly bent posture.

The sword started to emit cold mist as its surface started to turn colder.

He then slammed the tip of his sword on the ocean freezing it, immediately the surface around 200m started to freeze connecting the two ships. He then landed in the frozen sea, creating a small crater.

As everyone had their jaw dropped in surprise at casually freezing the ocean, Brook shouted," What are you doing just staring morons, attack and destroy the enemy pirates.
