Celina's Concern

As city guards were panicking over what looked like the act of mass homicide by a group of very skilled assassins. Meanwhile, in another decrepit alleyway, their culprit was leaning against a wall while going through his upgraded system.

In a city with a population of 3 million, there were quite a lot of alleyways. That and the fact that Daren liked the feeling of a shadiness it gave off made him quite fond of it already.

'What the heck?!!! So unlocking something doesn't mean I can use it. I mean, that's not anything surprising as many games did that to make the users play more but isn't the price to high.' complained in his head to Celina.

Even though Celina had yet to respond to him since yesterday, he was still hoping that she would as long as he pushed her enough.

Daren was basically the type of guy who would start to panic if he didn't talk to his girlfriend for an hour or if she did not respond to his text fast enough.

'Hey! Where's my status screen that you were supposed to make Celina? No RPG game comes without a status screen! ' Daren tried to sound mad in his even though he was not.

He couldn't really care right now as the current system was more than enough for him and his plans. It was just that he enjoyed the nostalgia it would bring him and looking at one progress through status screens has always been a way to fuel his sense of accomplishment.

Too bad that Celina could read his mind or his plan of dragging her out with anger might have worked. Daren had decided to ignore the fact that she could do that as if it was the one flaw that a boyfriend would ignore about his girlfriend since he liked everything else about her.

'I'm done with your antics!! Who the f***ck do you think is your girlfriend?! Your ugly ass pet pig is your girlfriend!' Celina lashed out at Daren out of nowhere.

I'm just trying to enjoy the movies and show's that I found in your head but all you ever do is complain and complain.' If Celina had a human face, it would be blowing out loads of steam at this time.

'I'll make you goddamn interface when I want to. I am the system and the system is me you retard..... well and my sister. But that doesn't matter right now, just let me watch the shows. I found this one called 'Your Mother Gave Birth to My Son?'. It's hilarious. Especially when the male lead gets dumped by the female lead's daughter and then she sends a pumpkin-headed dog at him for vomiting on her hovercar. '

Daren had no words for what he had just heard. He really thought that Celina was just angry at him but it turns out that's he was just using that excuse as an excuse to bring shows inside his memories.

He did not really mind though as 'Your Mother Gave Birth to My Son?' was really good. The plot and characters' actions and interactions made you laugh a couple of times in every scene.

With over 7000 hours worth of episodes, it was one of the universe's favorite romantic comedies. It was Daren's favorite one as well.

'Okay, okay. I understand how you feel. I would be upset too if you interrupted me while I was watching that show but you could have just told me that in the first place. I would not have bothered you then. I would not have done that even if I was dying from loneliness.' Daren was trying to coax her into feeling bad for him but as always, she could read his mind.

'I know what you feel and trust me I am willing to talk to you sometimes when you are feeling down. I can see that your mental health is not stable because you have lived too long and with too much stress.' Celina had truly started to understand where Daren's mental issues came from and she had a plan to solve them.

'That's why I will make you a deal. I will take breaks from watching the shows as long as you take breaks from the crazy plan that I saw in my head. At that time, I want you to just travel the world, relax and have fun with me. There are many magnificent sights to see here and I won't mind doing all that with you.'

Celina had given an offer to Daren. Daren thought that this offer was quite good and that Celina genuinely wanted to spend quality time with him.

He was only partially right as this was how Celina planned to fix some bad habits that Daren had formed in his past.

'I will gladly take your offer. The truth is, I am just planning on creating a shadow organization for a fun and see where that path leads me. Going adventuring with you doesn't seem so bad either. Who knows all the things we could see out there.' Daren had no hesitation in accepting the offer.

Daren wanted to see this world in all of its glory as there was so much he did not know. There was also just the idea that as long as he had enough strength, he could go anywhere he wanted.

Celina would accompany him everywhere. That kind of life does not sound bad at all.

'Before you go back to binge-watching, why is the requirement for the shop so high?' inquired Daren.

'Ohhh, that thing huh. Well, if you had looked at the items available, you could see that the lowest-priced item there is 50,000 gold coins. The system shop provides a variety of unlimited, OP items that are worth their exorbitant price.' Celina explained.

'Looking at them now would spoil the fun so I suggest you look at them when you can actually afford them. Peace.' Celina left just like that.

Even though Daren was curious, he would hold himself in as he too did not want to spoil the fun.

Daren straightened himself and walked towards the famous trading district of Igrit City.

Before he could continue though, another system message had decided to stop him in his tracks.

Daren was now utterly lost. The system had just thrown insults at his victims and even come at him. ' How am I a greedy pig.' he exclaimed.

There was even the part that said that the message had been altered. Daren knew that there was only one possibility as to who it could be.

Celina's little sister. The consciousness belonged to the second set of system abilities he had received. Only she could have authority similar to Celina's.

What Daren was confused about was why she was taunting him and how she was not in a slumbering state.

Daren called out to Celina. 'Hey, did you see this? It was your little sister, right?'
