What's the next step?

"Doctor, what happened to my sister? How come she doesn't remember any of us?" as Jung-Hwa asked.

"Because her brain has had hypoxia, this might've led to her temporary memory loss."

"Will she forever stay like this?" as Son-Ho asks the doctor. "As I said, this is temporary. You just need some time and make sure she rests enough, then her memory will slowly come back."

After the doctor gave Hee Joo a full on check up, Son-Ho guided the doctor out. Jung Hwa looks at Hee Joo, and angrily stares back at Yoo Jin. "Hee Joo, you really don't remember who I am? I'm your older brother, Jung-Hwa. You really don't remember me?" Hee Joo shakes her head.

Yoo Jin, who is standing in the corner, studies Hee Joo as she talks to Jung-Hwa. "So, who is he?" as Hee Joo points at Yoo Jin. Jung-Hwa gave him a face, "No need to know who he is. I'll bring you back home and leave this place."

Hee Joo looks at her brother and back to Yoo Jin. "I can't leave." Hee Joo tightens her fist and eagerly stares at her brother. Yoo Jin's eyes wide open with her words. "What did you say?" as Jung-Hwa doesn't believe what he just heard. "I said I'm not leaving. Maybe I could regain my memory back if I stay here. I don't really want to move anywhere right now." As Hee Joo tries to convince her brother, she notices Yoo Jin staring at her. She quickly shifts her eyes back and pretends that she didn't see anything.

"Please, I really don't want to move right now. Plus don't you want to know who did this to me?" She looks at Jung-Hwa eagerly with eyes begging him. Jung-Hwa sighs and looks at Yoo Jin, who didn't budge or say anything. "Fine. But you're not allowed to leave this house." Her eyebrows furrowed and gave an unhappy face to Jung-Hwa. "But what if I need to get some fresh air?" "I'll send someone with you, but you're not allowed to step outside this house perimeter. You understand?"

Hee Joo has no choice, but to agree.

Two weeks have passed and Hee Joo has gotten all better, and is ready to leave the army hospital. "Miss. Kim, are you all pack?" as Son-ho came in to pick her up. "Did my brother tell you to pick me up?" as Hee Joo looks pretty annoyed. "No, it's Mr. Yoo." Hee Joo didn't say anything and just grabbed her bag, and started heading out.

"Miss , let me help you," as he ran after her. But Hee Joo just refuses and starts walking towards that mansion that seems familiar , but also strange at the same time. It was not a very long walk from where the hospital is to the mansion. By the time she arrived at the front door, she saw a very familiar woman standing outside. That woman smiles at her and runs up to her, and pulls her in for a big hug.

"Hee Joo, you scared me. I thought I wouldn't be able to see you again." She lets go and looks at Hee Joo, and checks her from head to toe. "Are you still hurt or don't feel any good?" Ra-Yi eagerly looks at Hee Joo, who didn't respond back to her. Son-ho suddenly coughs and smiles at them. "Why don't we head in first and let Miss. Kim settles down first." "Your right." Ra-Yi takes Hee Joo's hands and walks in with her.

Inside is big and empty, just like what she remembered from her memory. Ra-Yi took Hee Joo back to her own room and Son-ho follows them from behind.

Hee Joo opens the door to her room and it was the same as before. "Miss, I'll leave now. If you need anything, I'll be here." He slightly bows and walks out the door. Ra-Yi walks up to Hee Joo after Son-ho leaves. "Hee Joo, are you alright?" Hee Joo turns around and looks at her. "I'm sorry, I'm kinda tired right now. Do you mind if I rest right now and we'll talk later?" After saying it, Hee Joo studies Ra-Yi's behavior. Ra-Yi smiles, "Sure. You must be tired from all of these things. My room is at the end of this hallway. So if you need me, I'll be there." Hee Joo slightly smiles and thanks her.

The room is finally empty and quiet. Hee Joo stands in the middle of the room holding her bag in her right hand. She walks over to her table and drops the bag on top. She scans her room from the entrance to all the way to where her bed is. Nothing has changed since the last time she was here.

Her fists started to tighten as she saw the bookcase.

'I'll never forget this. I'll find you and make sure that you'll get the punishment that you deserve.' Hee Joo's eye shifted and saw a small star button on her bed. She stares at it from a distance and starts walking towards it. 'I'm sorry. If I don't say that I lose my memory then I might bring danger to all of us,' she holds onto the button and lays down on the bed.

After taking a short nap and getting ready, Hee Joo went down for dinner. At the diner table, everyone is already seated. She stood there and was not sure where to sit. "Hee Joo, come over here," as Ra-Yi waves at her. That seat is right next to Yoo Jin and Hee Joo didn't know what to do. She doesn't want to go over and sit next to him, but she feels weird if she kept standing there. She awkwardly smiles and walks over.

"Okay, it's time to eat now. Auntie Lee, you can bring up the food now."

After setting the food on the table, Jung-Hwa picks up her bowl and scoops her a bowl of soup. "Hee Joo, drink some soup first." Hee Joo took a sip. 'This might be one of the quietest and awkward dinners ever,' as Hee Joo thought. Hee Joo saw her favorite sweet and sour pork and went for it, but for some reason she couldn't pick it up. She tried two times and it kept slipping out her hand. As Hee Joo was about to give up, an arm slipped past her and picked up the pork for her. He places it on her plate, "try using a spoon next time." Hee Joo could feel heat rising up on her and didn't want to look up.

"Thank you," she whispers.
