Standing in front of the ship ramp was a floating and musing Caidus. He seemed to be deep in thought, as if his mind was somewhere else. That wasn't entirely inaccurate, after all he was viewing possible outcomes with his visit to this world. Only three outcomes have appeared and only one of them is a desired one.

He could sense the Jedi standing behind him, rather tense. He was still a large enigma to them, having shown that he was outside their idea of Sith. Then again, the idea that he was a Sith was quite laughable. Primarily because of one simple fact, if he was truly a Sith...then the both of them would be dead.

As soon as he felt the ship land, he reminded himself of why they were there. They were in search of a new Hyperdrive since it was damaged. Unfortunately despite his best efforts it seemed that the Force Caidus unable to diverge the future events too much. So much so that he actually felt interference from it when be tried to repair the Hyperdrive himself. To say that it was an annoying thing was an understatement. It seems that the Force wants them to encounter the supposed Chosen One.

Caidus could feel the stares of roughly three people. The two Jedi and a Gungan, one who had apparently silenced himself. Instead of turning to acknowledge them, the Sorcerer remained facing forward. He could feel their inquiries, their tensions, their fear. They wanted to know who he was, what he was, and how he came to be. The first to speak just as they felt the ship land with a slight rumble. "This may be sudden", started a calm Qui-Gon, "But I believe that you have yet to introduce yourself."

Caidus still didn't turn, his body remaining faced towards the ramp. "I cannot give you my name quite yet Master Jedi, but I can give you my title."

For the first time, Caidus turned his head ever so slightly, showing off that blazing orange eyes. "Sorcerer."

'Sorcerer?' Qui-Gon thought, finding the title oddly enough befitting of the man. After a moment of silence, he began to sense a dark presence on the planet. It was as if they were not trying to hide, but at the same time they were unaware of their presence leaking out. Qui-Gon wasn't the only one to notice this, the next person who noticed such a thing was of course the Sorcerer himself, Caidus.

The Sorcerer felt a new outcome come into play, one that added a piece to the ever expanding board he was playing on. While facing forward to the opening ramp, he felt the scorching heat of Tattoine's sun's come down onto him. As if the heat didn't disturb him, he stepped off of the ship, floating down the ramp like a spirit.

'Master?' Obi-Wan called through his thoughts.

'What is it, Obi-Wan?'

'How can we trust this...Sorcerer?'

'I am not sure if we have any other choice, all we can do now is simply watch and remain vigilant.'

Obi-Wan nodded then turned to find Captain Panaka and a familiar Handmaiden approaching them. "The Queen wishes to have her Handmaiden come with you, she wants to know how bad the Outer Rim is."

As this all occurred, Caidus was simply floating off towards where the city was. At the moment, his attention was on that dark presence that he felt. He could sense what it was, and knew that a new outcome would come by him encountering them. In order to keep himself from being mistaken as a Jedi, he had his cloak wrapped around him much more to the point no one could see his Forcesaber or Sorcerer Blade. That said, they could still see his hueing blazing pupils as well as the lockpiece that keeps his cloak on him. This was also despite the fact that his feet was still defying gravity by remaining several inches off the ground.

While Caidus floated into the city, instead of going where the original outcome of finding a certain Force Sensitive occurred. He instead turned and began to floated between alleyways. He drew ever closer towards the dark presence, not being deterred by it's erractic behavior. Once he was close enough, Caidus came to a halt in front of a scavenge filled alleyway. His blazing eyes locking onto a curled up Lethan Twi'lek. With a tilt of the head he allowed his feet to be placed onto the sandy ground. His cloak making him seemingly bigger than he actually was. Rather slowly, the Sorcerer approached the Twi'lek. His eyes never coming off of her, he came to a stop as he towered over her now. The child slowly looked up and found herself peering into the darkness of Caidus' cloak. Her eyes widened as she continued to stare horrified into the man's blazing orange eyes.

Caidus gently knelt down in front of her, taking in her physical features. She was scrawny, having barely eaten, there were marks from bruises and scratches, a scare adorned her left cheek. The girl flinched when she saw Caidus reach out to touch her. He paused, then slowly moved his hand back before finally speaking to her.

"What is your name, child?" He inquired, his tone no longer that icey tone that the others were familiar with.

The girl gulped, still gazing at him in fear of what he was or who he was. Her mouth was dry, having not needed to speak in so long nor to others who didn't simply hurt her.

"EY!"

A voice rung out behind them, it was a human male with several others behind him who were either alien or human. They numbered in a ground of five, and appeared to be gangsters. "There you are you little shi-"

Before the man could finish his sentence, an invisible force wrapped around his throat. Caidus had an outstretched hand aimed at him, showing off his abilities once more. As he slowly rose to his feet, he finally turned towards the perplexed and shocked gangsters. "I would refrain from speaking, your filthy tongue hurts my ears..."

The Sorcerer's icey tone had returned, not simply because of the gangsters but because of what he sensed from their thoughts. They were planning to take advantage of the girl, with no other choice now, Caidus was going to this outcome. "I will require your deaths."

At that moment was when the man who was being choked felt the life drain from him. His body was turning pale, as if something was draining the life out of him. After several seconds his body went limp while hanging in the air. The next few seconds became a blur for the Twi'lek, she watched as each one of the gangsters were suddenly flung around by an invisible force. Their bodies colliding into the alley walls multiple times before cracks of bone were audibly heard.

Once the last gangster was dead, a sigh left the Sorcerer's lips before he turned back to the Twi'lek. She gazed up at him in wonder and fear. Her widened eyes never leaving him as if he was hypnotizing her. "Now then, would you kindly tell me what your name is?"

The Lethan Twi'lek watched as Caidus slowly reached out to her. His voice having returned into that soft and inviting one that she heard from him before. She glued her eyes onto his hand, pondering for a few seconds before reluctantly reaching out to take his hand.

"A...A-alema..."

She uttered, her voice sounding hoarse and dry. Caidus felt his brows furrow upon hearing that name, remembering that he heard that name before. That was when his own eyes widened a bit, realizing who this was. A memory emerged from his time meditating with Darksight. In another outcome of the future, one that will never come now. The Sorcerer had seen where the Sith had evolved beyond their petty squabbles and united against the Jedi, nearly wiping them out. One of the center pieces of such future was a Lethan Twi'lek.

'Darth Talon...', He thought while internally grinning. This was quite the odd predicament, he had someone who should have been born more than a hundred years before him. It was as if the Force was trying to give him a boon. No, the Force wouldn't be that kind to him. This was most likely Entropy giving him another piece to his board. With this piece, he had someone who could very likely influence events more physically than him.

"Come Alema", He said as he gently lifted her into his arms. The small child weighing nothing to him as he held rather closely to his cloak. The Twi'lek looked at him surprised before moving her head to lay on his shoulder. Her lekku swaying as he turned and walked out of the alleyway that he found her in. Caidus did not try to dispose of the bodies, after all he was on Tattooine. Everyone living on this planet has killed someone before.

Caidus took notice of the slave collar around Alema's neck. Instead of allowing it to remain, he removed it through the use of Entropy. The device making a beeping sound before falling off altogether. Alema was too tired to notice, having dozed off into Caidus' arms. The Sorcerer peered into his future with the child, finding what he saw rather interesting. That wasn't to say that he was interested with her, it was just that there was a spark in the girl's life that she hadn't believed to be there for her.

It would be roughly an hour before Caidus came to a halt before a door. One that was for a certain slave home. He could sense the presences of Qui-Gon, the Queen, the Gungan, and another small child. With a simple gesture of the Force, a knock was made. He waited for several moments before the door was opened.

He found himself staring into the ever widening eyes of a surprised middle aged woman. She gazed up at him as if she was looking at a monster. Her eyes locked onto his blazing pupils as he looked down at her. Then she noticed they sleeping form of Alema in his grasp. "I am an acquaintance of Qui-Gon Jinn."

She flinched upon hearing his icey tone of a voice. The woman before Caidus was none other than Shmi Skywalker, mother to an Anakin Skywalker. Right as she was going to deny Qui-Gon's presence in her home, the Jedi Master announced his presence. "Ah, you are here then Sorcerer."

Both Shmi and Caidus turned their attention towards the robbed Jedi as he stood within the hallway. He locked his eyes onto the malnutritioned Alema and felt a brow raise. "Was that why you had floated off on your own?"

Caidus simply tilted his head, finding the quip rather amusing to say the least. Then nodded before looking to Shmi who reluctantly allowed him to enter. He stepped inside, though did not remove the cloak hiding his face. Instead, he followed the two occupants to where they had been sitting at. "I have some bread and water for the girl."

Shmi felt her motherly instincts kick in upon remembering that the Twi'lek was likely hungry. Caidus simply sat down at the table within the small dinning room. He shook Alema gently to have her awaken. With a slight groan leaving her lips, the Lethan Twi'lek opened her eyes to find herself looking at Caidus' blazing orange eyes once again.

'It was real!?'

Her thoughts were loud to be heard by both Jedi and Sorcerer. Though the latter found it more amusing than the quip that Qui-Gon told him. She propped herself up rather quickly and squirmed out of his arms. When she went to stand she stumbled over but was caught by Caidus. "Calm yourself, you are no longer in that alley."

Alema looked up at Caidus then looked towards the other occupants in the room. Her eyes landing on Qui-Gon and Shmi who were watching her. She then hid behind Caidus while peeking from around his cloak. The gesture was adorable to say the least as Shmi had a tray of bread and a cup of water in her hands. She smiled warmly at the child, before looking at Caidus with a look of curiosity. "So then, are you a Jedi as well?"

Caidus allowed a slight smile to appear on his lips. The only one noticing it being that of Qui-Gon. "No, I am no Jedi."

Just before Shmi could question him further, the bread that was situated on the tray began to float along with the cup of water. Both items moved over towards Caidus who took them into his gloved armored hands. He handed them towards a hungry Alema who chowed down on the bread. This gained an audible chuckle from Qui-Gon who found the action amusing. Though he remembered that the dark presence that had surrounded her not too long ago.

With a glance, he noticed Caidus looking back at him. The Sorcerer having deduced that the Jedi would catch onto him quite easily. The two seemed to have shared a conversation as they stared at each other. After several minutes, Caidus began to stand up. The motion catching both Shmi and Alema's attention as he moved out of the kitchen dining room. Alema followed him like a pup with it's mother. He was going towards the door, regardless of hearing rushing sand coming from outside.

It was obvious that a sandstorm was coming through, one that had already been seen by Caidus. That said, he stopped then looked back to see Alema following him rather closely. His blazing eyes landing on her like that of a doting father. "You must remain here Alema."

The Twi'lek shook her head, her eyes tearing up when she heard him say that. "But you'll leave me just like they did."

Those words caused the Sorcerer to visibly frown, before turning to her fully. He knelt down on one knee while placed a hand on her shoulder. "I will not abandon you sweet child", he said through a much more compassionate tone, "I am simply going on a walk, fret not, for I will return for you."

His words did little to deter her, instead of speaking words of reassurance, Caidus rummaged under his cloak and produced a small amulet. It had a strange Kanji, one that was in an unknown dialect. "Keep this upon you, and I shall always be able to find you."

Alema took the amulet into her small hands. She held it for a bit, before looking up to Caidus. She stared at him for a moment, then suddenly hugged him, despite his eerie and terrifying eyes. For the first time, the Sorcerer was visibly surprised. Yes he looked into the future outcome of taking this child as his own. That said, seeing it and experiencing it were two very different things. Especially when he could still express his emotions when he chooses to.

With a slight pat on the back, Alema reluctantly released him from her small embrace. The Twi'lek gazing up into his cloaked face with a small smile. "I will return."

With those words said, Caidus rose to his full height then turned towards the door. He glanced back to see the eavesdropping Qui-Gon and Shmi peering around the corner. They immediately moved back upon seeing that he noticed them. It wouldn't be long before Caidus opened the door, watching as the sandstorm rush in front of him. He stepped outside and began to walk through the sandstorm as if it did little to hinder him.

Somewhere outside the city was an impatient Darth Maul. He was within his personal starship, one with a cloaking system. The Dathomiri Zabrak was waiting for his probe droids to return with news of the Jedi's whereabouts. He was trying to meditate but each time he did he felt the Force warning him of impending danger...

Maul was sure that the Jedi were unaware of his presence on the planet. After all, if they knew of him being there then he wouldn't remain where he was at all. After a moment of contemplating, he felt an intrusion into his mind. Immediately he tried to find the source but felt as if it were everywhere.

'I can feel your fear..'

A whispering cold voice called out throughout his mind, sounding as if it were right behind him.

'I can feel your hate..'

Maul gritted his teeth while getting to his feet, he moved towards the ramp of his ship in order to investigate his surroundings.

'It is most infuriating is it no?' the voice taunted, 'To know that to your master...you are nothing.'

That got a snarl from Maul as he rushed down the ramp but came to a sudden halt once he saw the cloaked Caidus. The Sorcerer had found him, standing roughly twenty-one feet away from the Sith. Maul was angry as well as a little curious. Especially since he wasn't sure how Caidus knew where he was. He noticed that the cloaked Sorcerer was being bombarded by the sand, his appearance looking as if he were a ghost of sorts.

With gritted teeth, Maul ignited one of his crimson blades. It came out in a sinister hiss, immuminating the sandy knight as it hummed. Caidus tilted his head, taking in the craftsmanship of the lightsaber hilt rather than the blade.

"Such a pity...", He uttered, "You have been quite the pawn."

At that taunt, the Sith let out another snarl before rushing at Caidus. The Sorcerer remained as he was for a time, seemingly unmoving.

Even as the Sith jumped with the sand hitting his face, Caidus did not move. At the last second, Maul was hit by a powerful blast of sand. It was as if someone else was there to Force Push him by using the sand around them as a weapon. "WHO ARE YOU!?" Maul demanded as he got to his feet while igniting his second blade.

Caidus remained still as he watched Maul, peering into the current outcome of the future. With a sad smile coming to his face, he moved some of his cloak to where his armor was revealed. He had his Forcesaber come to his hand then ignited his orange blade. The weapon illuminating some of his face showing quite the scary look. Even for Maul, the face that the Sorcerer had was terrifying. The sad smile that Caidus had was just replaced with a sinister one, one befitting of a perfect Sith if he had chosen that path. Caidus took an unorthodox stance, choosing to using his own personal lightsaber fight for the duel.

"I am Caidus Keto Wren...The Sorcerer of Rhand", he answered, "And I require....your death."
