The Powerful Creature

Erasmus was currently in Deep Meditation looking to fully master the First cycle of the <Herald Of Ice> however everytime he tried to comprehend the technique something was blocking his way. He did not know what it was, but it seemed like a barrier. Erasmus was utterly sure that if he were to break the blockade, he would gain full mastery of the <Herald of Ice> but a searing pain would envelop his body if Erasmus were to try and forcefully break it.

He decided to calm himself down. They were two ways that Erasmus could calm his mind. One when he was in deep meditation. This helped most of the time however it was not working for him today. The second was a slightly weird way of one calming themselves down. It was by killing, this was something only known ba very few, and it had confused them to no end. Even Erasmus did not know why this happened. Erasmus had discovered this particular ability when he was young.

At the time Erasmus was about twenty and at that time was furious about losing a battle that he had prepared months for to his Eldest Brother. To vent out the anger that had been raging within him he had travelled to a mountain in the Endless Mountains and had fought a Magical Beast, after killing the monster Erasmus felt that his thoughts had calmed down and he was able to calm down quickly. It did not matter what type of living being it was, however, Erasmus only tended to kill Magical Beasts when he needed to calm himself down.

That was what Erasmus was about to do as he flew out of his manor and towards a mountain range where Magical Beasts were abundant there. When Erasmus flew towards the Mountains, a few shadows started following him. Soon enough Erasmus had reached a mountain range; It was called the Fiery Mountain Range due to its volcanoes and volcanic beasts.

Choosing the most massive mountain Erasmus flew towards it and unleashed his full aura At that moment a negative and hegemonic aura arose out of him the ground around the Mountain shattered, and lava could be seen overflowing from the previously solid surface of the earth. Thousands of beasts that hid in the shadows instantly died, what Erasmus wanted to fight were not weaklings but rather indeed a powerful beast.

As Erasmus was busy looking for a creature the Mountains Flaming hot temperature seemed to have disappeared as a cold misty air started to invade the mountain fog rising out of the crevices from the Mountain where lava resided but a minute ago and soon enough an Earsplitting Roar that shook the very mountain sounded out from the depths of the mountain, the earth started shaking, and the surviving beasts fled as fear engulfed their entire beings.

Erasmus could hear the Beast approaching him to step by step and for the first in an extremely long time an acute sense of danger-filled his heart, His Body telling him to run and his mind warning him of the danger that was approaching, however, he stood his foot and glanced at the shadows where the beast approached him from. Erasmus did not know what to call himself currently, was he a fool or a brave man, He did not know the answer to that question however he knew if he ran away right now how would he fulfil his ambition to become the strongest that had ever existed.

While Erasmus looked at the shadows a creature slowly emerged from it; It was Blood Red and Snow White with half of its revolting body being each colour. It stood at least 20 foot tall and seemed to block every single path in front of Erasmus with its vast body. The creature's mouth, which opened downward, was armed with terrific mandibles, while the vast, compound eyes looked like large crystals of cut glass. Immediately in front of the eyes were two jaws as long as a man's arms, with feathery processes at the ends. In addition to these, there were three pairs of legs, the front couple as long as a man's and the hindmost pair almost as long as a horse's.

However what was terrifying about the creature was a suffocating aura that surrounded the beast and out of the blue, it started rushing towards Erasmus with speed unbefitting a beast of its size.
