Chapter 1 : Bringer of Light

Luke opened his eyes. He was confused because he knew that he had died, yet for some reason he felt that he was alive. But something was missing, and after a while, he realized that he was in the baby's body.

' Oh damn! ' 

That was the only word coming to his mind.

While the Mc of ours is having time alone, many people look at the baby with a surprised expression.

The people that surround the baby (our Mc) are some nurses and doctors.

"Doc, what's going on? asks a woman who is in her 20s—to be exact, 23.

"Ma'am, the baby of yours is quite unusual; we already checked everything and he is healthy, but let me do one more thing" The doctor explained that the baby is healthy and that no abnormalities were found in the baby.

Luke is still shocked that he was reincarnated into a baby's body. He tried to scan the surroundings, and what he saw was a group of people in white coats, and then he saw a man.

A man raising his hand and slowly coming to his buttocks

A smack resounds in the room.

Uwaaaaahhh! Luke felt a sudden pain in his buttocks, and he couldn't endure it, so he let out a cry.

Luke stared at the man who slapped his butt and said to himself,

' I shall take revenge; just wait, man in the white coat.

"Ma'am, it looks like your baby doesn't have a problem" The doctor looks at the woman.

"Good, or else you know the consequence. I will leave for a while. Be sure to keep an eye on my baby." The woman looked at the doctor who slapped his baby's buttocks; she didn't stop the doctor's move because she knew that was a normal thing. After she finished talking, she left.

The doctor's eyes were set on the woman walking out to the room, and he sighed and looked at the baby he was carrying.

"Little one, your mother is kind of scary. Haha" the doctor said and laughed.

Patient's Room.

A woman who just got out of the operation room was lying on the bed to rest when suddenly the door of the room opened and a person walked in.

The person looked at the woman and became silent for a moment while the woman rested, looking at the person who entered.

"I already sent the money to your bank account; I hope you wouldn't talk about what our deal is," the person said to the resting woman on the bed.

"Yes, I know what our deal is. Besides, he is not really my son; I'm just a carrier, the woman on the bed said.

"Good to know," the person lastly said, and after that, she walked out of the room.

"Louis Cruz, one of the richest women in the country, huh? I didn't expect that she would do this, but I am curious: why just carry 'him? Why find a surrogate? The woman asked herself on the bed and mentioned the name of the person who entered the room.

"Well, they say sometimes that a rich person's thinking is kind of a roller coaster, so let's just forget about it.

"Hmm... 10 million PH pesos; I could just create a small business and live comfortably with it, the woman on the bed said, continuing her rest.

Back to MC

Our Mc is embarrassed because he was cleaned up 'thoroughly' by the nurse.

He was hailed as the 'King of Sorcerers, yet his body was washed and touched by the woman in white clothes.

'Wait a minute, before I think anything of this, I need to know where I am and look for the woman that the doctor said was my 'mother'. ' Luke was still confused about where he was. The place and all of the equipment he saw were strange to him, especially the box thing hanging on the wall.

He saw people moving in the box. He was confused about whether they were stacked there.

After some time, he heard a clicking sound coming from the door, which indicated someone was coming in.

The door opened, and I saw the woman that the doctor was telling me was my mother.

"Oh, looks like my baby is already up." The woman walks toward the crib where Luke is.

She touched the head of the 'baby, Luke, and smiled sincerely, staring at her baby. Luke also stared at his 'mother'.

"You sure are not like other babies who always cry." The woman carries and hugs him.

Luke, who was carried and hugged by this woman, suddenly felt a warm sensation.

'What a nice feeling, he inwardly thought, and for some reason he was slowly closing his eyes.

"It looks like he is asleep." The woman put Luke in the crib.

"Wait for me, baby; I need to fill up some papers. Goodnight. She kissed his forehead and left the room.

Several hours later.

Luke opens his eyes. He twists his body left and right to see if there is anyone in the room. He didn't see any on his left side, but on his right side, he saw his mother sleeping peacefully.

He was hungry because he hadn't eaten anything since yesterday. He sure couldn't eat a portion of solid food, and no one can give him food if he doesn't resort to a shameful move. But he has no choice but to do it, or else he will die of hunger.

'One, two, three...' Luke counts from one to three and does the shameful act for him.

Uwaaaahh! ..Uwahhhh..Uwaaaah," Luke cried loudly to wake up his sleeping mother.

After a few minutes, the lady was woken up by the cries of her babies.

She stood immediately and walked towards her son's crib.

"What's wrong, baby? Oh, you are hungry, right?" The woman looked at her son and knew immediately what the problem was.

"Here, here, don't cry anymore." The woman gives her son a bottle of breast milk that she bought from another woman's mother who is confined in this hospital.

Luke hungrily ate the milk. While Luke is busy with his own business, his mother stares at him lovingly.

"Well, I still did not give your name, huh? I kind of forgot. The woman looked at her son, who was busy drinking breast milk.

"Well, my name starts with L, so your name also should start with it. Hmm, Lucas will be your name because, in an old Latin meaning, Bringer of Light', you are the source of my light and happiness." The woman looked at her son while naming him.

'Lucas, not a bad name' Inwardly thought by Luke, or should I say Lucas

I decide to re-write this fan-fic because first of all the quality of this fanfic... Let's say 'Average'.
