"No. I am refusing to continue to engage in combat with an obvious outcome". I replied, swiftly.

I already find it amazing enough that I who had no combat experience was able to last this long against my master.

What is the point of any further altercation when I can already tell what the outcome will be?

"You never know. If you had given it your all, you might have come across a leeway that would allow you to land a successful strike at me. If that had happened, believe me when I saw I would have held you in higher regard than I do now".

Master Gallus shifted the position of my body to how it should be, and then he let go of my ankle and allowed me to drop to the ground with my legs.
