Introduction To Danger

My body hair stood up as I felt my skin crawl inwardly!

My senses were fully alerted, warning me of the danger that was nearby!

I moved closer and stood at the edge of the canoe. From there, I surveyed the vast ocean that lay in every corner I turned my eyes to.

"Say... Albina. What kind of fishes have made the ocean their home". I questioned, my eyes still turned opposite her and in an intense search for the danger.

She was curious about my sudden change of pace, but Albina got over it and started listing the types of fish inhabiting the ocean.

I was not interested in the names she was calling out.

Why?... The way she was calling the names made them not stand out like they were just ordinary everyday fishes that are normal.

And that is fine, normal is fine and I actually would have been curious about those normal under different circumstances.

However, not now!!!
