Fuel For Sorcery Trait

Today is a new day, and for the first time in months, I finally get to sleep late and wake up to an early sunrise.

That's right folks. I woke up late, turned off my alarm and slept in until it was two o'clock in the afternoon.

Can you imagine?...

I certainly couldn't ever until today. Another thing I can't imagine is how strangely my body has been acting up.

For example, I never needed that extra rest I had because I felt no difference from how I woke up yesterday and compared to today.

But still! It's nice knowing that after working so long, there will come a time when I am not short of time.

It's a gratifying emotion that almost puts me to tears.

Just kidding.

When I got home, I spent a whooping eight hours carefully glossing through the book titled Tale Of The First Oduduwa.

"Oshodi! Oshodi! Pangroove, Oshodi". Shouted the ragged unclothed man swinging a face towel in the air.

All this humanitarian bus conductor and their loud voices! Can't even let someone think in peace.

That is not to say they are not useful when it counts. And in moments like this, it counts more.

To get to my destination, I need to board a bus. The location sometimes escapes me since I only go there once a year, but the conductors I just bashed are very helpful when it comes to helping me remember the name of my location.

I board the bus nearest to me. I went in through the back door and sat on the first seat on my right, very close to the door.

Before anything, I glanced forward and saw that the seats were still far off from being full.

That meant I would have to wait for the conductor to finish calling in passengers.

Good for me, in a way I guess. At least now I can have some time to myself to think about the contents I read from the book.

By the way, I currently don't have the book with me. It is too big, flashy and did I mention uncomfortable to carry.

I decided it was best to be left at home and not take it with me outside. I also did not take it to the store with me yesterday.

I believe a recap of what I have learned so far should be made public.

The book as the title quotes; is Tale Of The First Oduduwa. This should not be a reason to believe that the first Oduduwa mentioned is the origin of the Oduduwa lineage.

No, that isn't true. I was made aware of that after reading the book further, and I also came to know why it was titled Tale Of The First Oduduwa is because that Oduduwa is the first of his kind on planet Earth.

"!!...".

Yeah, I will get to it soon enough.

Apparently, the Oduduwa originates from Erenoa as I remember.

And I know that because I have gone over it when I started reading the first page of the book.

So yes. The original Oduduwa clan as a whole is from another planet, Erenoa.

A war erupted on that planet. The cries and wails of the innocent caught up in the war were what eventually forced the first Oduduwa to leave it behind.

He did not run away from his planet because he was weak or anything like that. It was stated in the book that the first Oduduwa was among the apex sorcerers on his planet Erenoa.

He was also among one of the four prominent bloodlines, the Oduduwa bloodline versed with immense might and other such profound qualities.

Another thing that he was, is being the leader of his Oduduwa clan, all vested with the Oduduwa bloodline.

He has such an amazing past and legacies that it makes me wonder why he would leave it all behind?...

I am inclined to believe that the cries of the innocent are the only reason, but that is what the book says, and I believe it was written by the first Oduduwa so...

You get the gist.

The first Oduduwa left his home planet in search of a new one, a world without war and constant bloodshed.

Then, he came across a planet, one with the qualities that he had imagined himself settling down in. And even better, this planet had no sorcery energy known as Force energy

Force energy is the fuel for powering sorcery traits. Without it, one cannot make use of their traits.

Every sorcerer is born with a certain amount and also grows by the said amount the more the sorcerer ages.

In a way, the amount of force one can have is dependent on how much of it they are born with.

Having a small amount means it will continue to grow by a small amount, and having a large amount means it will keep growing by a large amount.

How unfair is that?!!

To top it off, without sufficient force in a sorcerer's body, they cannot have access to their sorcery traits.

It's an understandable rule to be precise. I mean, it is like saying without fuel, a car cannot move. Without a charged battery, an electric car cannot move.

For the first Oduduwa, coming across a planet that had no force energy brought great joy to him, because it meant that no matter what happened, the world would never have sorcerers.

To use sorcery traits, forcer energy is needed. When one empties their force pool ( A part of the sorcerer's body where force energy is stored)

When one empties the force pool, there is a need for replenishment. To refill the force pool, one has to draw in force energy from the surroundings, the atmosphere.

A sorcerer's body does not produce force energy.

There is a need for a proper explanation for better understanding.

"!!!".

Abruptly, I was brought out of my thinking as I felt a vibration in my body. I turned and looked at my surroundings only to see that the bus I was in was starting to move.

I had gone too deep into my thinking to realize how full the bus had become, up to the point where the passengers were squeezing themselves in for standing space.

Good thing I came in early, else I too would have been forced to stand through the whole journey.
