Act 1- 1 Green Hills

The movie begins in the Green Hills' sky, as Tails flies above it, looking attentively at his tracker while not paying any attention to his surroundings. He mumbles to himself:

Tails - "Now, where could he be? He must stand out in a world like this. Ahh, all this travelling is making my head hurt!"

In this moment, Tails hits his head against a telephone pole, falling on the ground. He groans:

Tails: "And that really makes my head hurt!", Tails scratches his head, looking ahead of himself, towards the town of Green Hills. He wonders. "This must be tracking him… right?", Image stops, and we hear Tails' voice tell us.

"You're probably wondering who I am. After all, I'm not the blue hedgehog you were expecting to see. The name's Miles Prower and let me give you a quick explanation."

Cut to the past, and to Sonic's home world, in the same forest LongClaw died however in a different place. Two owls are wandering towards a dark cave. One asks the other:

Owl 1- "So has the time come once more?", The other tries to answer, however the cave shines in a yellow color, answering the question.

They keep moving inwards and find a small fox, a baby Tails on the ground. Owl 2 picks him up, to bring him with him, and Owl 1 asks:

Owl 1 - "Is it really worth it? After all, Long Claw died trying to protect one of them."

Owl 2 - "It is our duty. A responsibility we can't shy away from."

Owl 1 - "What happens if the tribe succeeds? If they attain these children's power?"

Owl 2 - "Then it will be their choice, in whether they opt to raise this gift, or eliminate it."

The two owls leave the cave, as the scene cuts to them in a house on top of a mountain, similar to the one LongClaw lived in the previous movie. We see Owl 1 look at baby Tails play around with a couple sticks and rocks banging them on each other. Owl 1 looks away, focused on the outside and at any incoming threat alongside the audience, before looking back at baby Tails once more. Baby Tails now has a slingshot he built with the sticks, and begins shooting rocks around the house before Owl 1 stops him. Cut to another moment of his childhood, as both Owls fly off from the cliff the house was on. Baby Tails wanting to fly with them, drops himself down as well, falling through the rock below, and leaving a Tails' shape on it.

Tails - "Aughh."

We then cut back to Tails building something else in the house, now older. He creates a radar that detects the most delicious fruits in the forest powered by one of his hairs telling the owl:

Tails - "By concentrating on the fruit's natural sugar, I was able to create a radar that finds only the freshest of fruit. Isn't that so cool?", Owl 2 reluctantly says yes, leaving him to ask.

Tails - "Why do you look at me like this is weird?"

The movie cuts to the next scene, where Tails once again throws himself off the cliff, however this time he rotates his tails around to fly, following both owls, saying:

Tails - "I finally caught up to you two. I knew I could do it.", Owl 1 comments on this.

Owl 1 - "I never thought a fox could fly. You really are special.", Close up on Tails who was a bright smile. Owl 2 says.

Owl 2 - "Let's head back home. It's too dangerous like this.", This is when Owl 2 gets hit with an arrow.

Just like with Sonic's flashback, Tails parental owls are also hunted down by the Echidnas. We get a chase sequence that ends with Owl 2 dying off-screen and Owl 1 successfully hiding Tails in a cave, although Owl 1 is severely injured. Tails asks in a crying tone:

Tails - "Why would they go so far for my power? I didn't ask to have it.", Owl 1 answers.

Owl 1 - "They seek control, and you can't let them obtain it, nor the others. Find them. Ask them for their help."

Cut to present Tails as he gets up from hitting his head. His radar shows odd signs, as he knocks it to make it work again. He says:

Tails - "I need to find him.", And flies off across the street, as the Green Hills sign appears on screen.

Cut to Tom placing a can on top of a table. They are in the backyard of Tom's house in Green Hills. He asks:

Tom : "Are you sure you can do it this time?"

We see Sonic heating up, as he stretches his legs.

Sonic: "Come on, I'm Sonic the Hedgehog, fastest thing alive. Is there really any doubt?"

Tom: "Well…"

Tom looks up at the attic of his house, with a large broken hole coming out from its side. Sonic tries to come up with an excuse.

Sonic: "Oh, that? That was just an accident. Nothing special."

Tom: "Just like the spring you bounced off of and broke the ceiling."

Sonic: "Well…"

Tom: "Or when you blacked out the whole city again. It was really tough explaining that "coincidence" to the government."

Sonic: "Without mistakes, how do you "live and learn"? Plus, the worst that can happen now is that you lose a table. After all, aren't you always saying I should learn to control my power? What do you think this is? It was your idea."

Tom: "I don't think I had the idea of breaking my own house."

Sonic: "Maybe you just don't remember.", Tom sighed.

Tom: "Just get on with it. And this time, try to aim."

Sonic: "You could almost put a target on it. I won't miss it."

Sonic begins to focus his power. His quills gain the blue electricity as he powers up. He jumps and rolls into a ball still surrounded in electricity only to let go off it in a boom propelling himself with the shockwave. He misses the can on the table completely as he gets shot upwards. Tails still looking at his radar, asks himself:

Tails - "He should be here, right?"

Sonic accidentally hits Tails with his homing dash, making the game death pose, with stretched arms and legs, as they both fall into the ground. Tom rushes towards the creature that got hit. He turns Tails over, and complains:

Tom: "Oh god, another one? Sonic, I thought you told me you were alone in the world."

Sonic slowly sits up asking.

Sonic: "What are you talking about? I told you, I used to be hunted down by this tribe of echid… Ahh!"

Sonic notices Tails presence, hiding away thinking he is one of the creatures that hunted him down. Tom understands that, however he can't leave someone in need in the middle of the garden. He picks Tails up. Sonic complains:

Sonic - "Leave him there. You already have enough animal friends, right?"

Tom:"I can't just leave him Sonic."

Sonic:"Think of him as a raccoon. Didn't you always want to run over those guys?", Tom takes Tails inside the house, as Sonic keeps pressing him against it.

Tom: "I did the same for you, Sonic. I can't just leave him behind.", Sonic quiets down. Tom puts Tails on a table, as his wife shows up.

Wife: "It's always such a ruckus with Sonic around. What is it this ti…", She notices the unconscious Tails. "Oh god, another one?", The daughter enters the scene, excited.

Daughter: "Yay, another one!", Sonic jokes around:

Sonic:"You know, the second one is never as good as the first."

Tom: "Terminator 2, Spiderman 2, Street Fighter 2…"

Sonic: "You can shut up now."

Tails suddenly wakes up. He looks around confused:

Tails: "Wha… Where am I? Humm…" Tails notices Sonic who is hiding behind a curtain. He shouts."Sonic, I finally found you. You really traveled a lot, haven't you?"

Sonic is confused, but seeing Tails as a threat he decides to run away. However, to everyone's surprise, Tails keeps up with him. Tom remarks:

Tom "He's also super fast? Of course, why wouldn't he be?", Sonic stops, as Tails does as well. He says once more.

Tails "I was looking for you, Sonic.", Sonic crosses his arms.

Sonic "I get that…humm…", Not knowing his name, Sonic looks at him, seeing his tails waver. "Tails."

Tails "I'm actually Miles Prower."

Sonic "Tails, it is.", Tails grunts."Why are looking for me anyway? Another one trying to get my power for themselves? You're not the first one to try, and just like all the others…", Sonic begins to shine in blue electricity. "You won't succeed.", Tails takes a step back, and looks in awe.

Tails: "You can use it? You're so cool!", Sonic is taken aback by his remark. Tom seeing them two squabble, decides to take action. He picks up the first object in sight, a pan and asks Tails as if threathening him with it.

Tom: "Who are you and why are you here?", Sonic grunts.

Sonic: "A pan, Donut Lord? Really?", Tails begins his explanation.

Tails: "My name is Miles Prower. I'm a fox with two tails…"

Sonic: "We could see that much."

Tails:"...and I've come to this zone after a prolonged search for Sonic, to deliver something to him."

Sonic scratches his head.

Sonic: "So you're not here to hunt me down?"

Tails: "No, although I understand your fear. The Echidna Clan sure is ruthless."

Sonic: "You know about them? Did you come from Mobius as well? Is LongClaw alive?"

Tom: "Wait, hold on Sonic. Miles, is that all? Only the card?"

Tails: "Well…", Tails begins dwingling the tip of his tails and fingers nervously. "I was wondering if it would be fine to talk a bit with Sonic as well. It has been pretty lonesome.", Tom calms down, as Sonic seems to get only more excited. He exhales heavily.

Sonic: "Is this what I think it is? Am I… am I… AM I GETTING A NEW FRIEND?"

Tails: "Friend, what's that?"

Sonic: "I'll tell you all about it. Let's go to my cave.", Sonic runs at superspeed to the attic of the house, as Tails looks back at Tom, waving goodbye, and then immediately running after Sonic. Tom sighs while looking at his wife.

Tom: "At least now he has someone that keeps up with him."

Wife: "Let's just hope he doesn't eat as many chili dogs. I've had enough of the smell of chili around the house, it's even worse than Crazy Carl."

Tom: "That reminds me, I need to go help him out with something."

Wife:"Do you really? He's gotten better ever since he started the Sonic Fan Club, but still..."

Tom:"A cop is always there to help others out, right? Plus, he said it would be fun. Who knows?", Tom kisses his wife in the cheek. "Make sure they don't cause too much trouble."

Wife:"As if that's possible."

Tom picks up his keys, and grabs a donut from the pantry, leaving the house.

We cut to Sonic in the middle of telling Tails about his adventure. Sonic is running around excited, while Tails is bouncing on the racecar bed.

Sonic: "So I threw my ring thinking about sand, and ended up in a desert. So to stop Robotnik I ran around in circles and made a sand tornado."

Tails - "Woah! Really? You're so cool, Sonic!"

Sonic - "Well, you're not the only one who thinks that. Tomorrow Green Hills is going to host a Sonic Fan Meeting. I suppose I can't help but being the center of attention."

Tails - "Uh, can I come?"

Sonic - "Of course, but didn't you say you had something to deliver to me?"

Tails - "Ah, yes.", Tails puts his hand inside his pouch, taking out a letter. "Here.", Sonic is surprised.

Sonic - "A letter? Did you write this?"

Tails - "No, it's from LongClaw. She wanted you to read it."

Sonic throws the letter aside. The letter swerves left and right, until it lands on a pile of fan letters. Tails quickly goes and picks it up.

Tails - "You don't want to read this? It's the last words from your caretaker."

Sonic - "She's not my caretaker anymore. I live with Donut Lord, and Pretzel Lady. I've made a life she would be proud. I don't want that letter to ruin it."

Not really understanding it, Tails drops the letter back in its place. Sonic comments:

Sonic: "I doubt that was the only thing you came here for. There must be something else."

Tails: "Yeah, there is. I came here to check if you're okay. The Echidna Clan has been making some moves lately. Even though they don't have any rings, they've been able to travel through zones. I was worried they might have caught you."

Sonic looked worried, almost scared. He looks Tails in the eyes:

Sonic: "I'm glad you've made it here then."

Tails smirks.

Tails: "It wasn't easy. With Echidnas and crazy doctors around.", They both laugh. Tails proceedes. "I just hope they haven't crossed paths."

Sonic. "What, that stupid Eggman? I sent him to a Mushroom Hill Zone, there's no way he's getting out."
