Through many hardships, he and Dimor managed to ascend to the divine realm. They grew up together and continued to assist each other. It was supposed to be a happy ending, but it wasn't. During a mission, Adel had accidentally brought Janis into his illusionary boundary - heavily injuring her. Then, a few months after Janis passed, he and Dimor fought. The duel disrupted his mana veins, bringing him into a deep coma. After the decade-long recovery, Adel had just began to return to his post when a mission to seal the Chaos barrier requires him to work with Dimor. Note: this is NOT an enemy to lovers.
