Sitting in front of the burning fire trying to heat themselves, Izuna said "it's finished we can eat now".

"Hmm, it smells so good, I didn't know you could cook this good" Konan said in a happy tone.

"Yeah, well I've grown up here my whole life, and I learned quite a lot of survival skills" he replied "I could probably survive better than most adults".

This made Konan happy because she felt like she could count on Izuna, if she had gone out on her own she was sure that she would have probably been killed already. She knew that she couldn't leave it all up to Izuna so she was trying to learn as much as she could from him so that she wouldn't be a burden in the future as they decided that they would stick together.

Izuna knew that it was a good idea to stick together as he would have a difficult time roaming alone but this didn't mean that he couldn't do it alone. Besides, she wasn't too much of a burden and she was quite smart so she would be able to pick things up quickly, and he also felt like he connected to her as they were both in the same situation. Travelling alone trying to survive.

When they finished eating they put out the fire and covered their tracks before moving off to find a safe place to sleep. At first, Konan was very bad at covering her tracks but after giving her a few tips and advice she gradually got better.

This was one of the most important skills that you needed to learn to survive and Izuna had picked up tricks and he grew to learn the land from constant experience. He was skilled enough to know where the hardest ground was just by looking and this meant that he left little or no footprints for people to follow. Another trick was to change your direction every so often to confuse the person following you, and another trick was to deliberately leave tracks for them to follow and then lead them in the wrong direction and then make sure to cover your tracks when you move off so it looks like you vanished also putting the enemy on edge as they think you know about them following you.

He had learned many more tricks but these were the ones he was teaching Konan. Once they found a safe place they unpacked the tent. It was a one-man tent but was enough room for both of them so they would sleep together as they are only kids they thought nothing of it and considering the situation with the war they didn't care about sharing a blanket.

There wasn't a need to stay up and keep watch because while Konan set up the tent Izuna would set some traps that would alarm them if there was an enemy nearby, and Izuna had lived his life hunting and was confident that his traps would work. If they didn't it just meant that the enemy was too skilled so they wouldn't have been able to sense the enemy anyway, so there would be no point in staying watch plus they both needed to rest and recover as they would always be on the move.

So this was their routine for a few weeks and they would share their stories and naturally became closer. During this time Izuna's injury had almost healed and he wasn't at a threatening stage of it getting infected. During these weeks they had managed to avoid all shinobi groups that were around them because Izuna had picked up skills that helped him and also his Sharingan which helped him see further and better.

When his injury began to heal he began to sharpen his Mangekyou Sharingan ability by practising the third Mangekyo Sharingan ability Susanoo. This was an incredible ability that was made out of chakra and was see-through but did have colour, it also had multiple stages.

The first stage (ribcage Susanoo) was like a two-meter tall and wide ribcage that surrounded the user, in this form you can grow two huge skeleton arms which can be used as you want, in this state it granted the user a strong defence that could withstand multiple paper bombs head-on, it also had huge strength that could crush boulders.

The second stage (incomplete Susanoo) was twelve meters tall and it was in the form of half a skeleton starting from the waist up to its head. This stage provided even better armour and strength and could also grow up to four arms. The third stage (humanoid Susanoo) reaching twenty meters tall was the second stage but with skin and clothes, instead of a human face, it had a devil face instead. In the fourth stage (armoured Susanoo), the Susanoo grew armour to boost defence and attack and it also had weapons to protect itself, there were many weapons you could get such as a sword, bow or shield as it was about thirty meters tall. Then the final stage (perfect Susanoo) is taller than one hundred meters and in this stage, it is a full-body with full battle armour and with weapons and it can grow six arms. In this stage, the user moves up to the head of the Susanoo which is probably around eighty meters up from the ground. (A/N. check comments for what it looks like)

Izuna's Susanoo had dark-red bones, skin and eyes but it had black clothes and armour. Although he could only use the first stage at the moment it increased his fighting power by three which meant that he could take on a skilled low A rank jonin. Although this power was amazing it came with a heavy price as the more the user used their Mangekyou Sharingan powers the quicker their eyesight would fade. One way to stop this was to transplant a different Mangekyou Sharingan eyes and then they would become the eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, but the person giving their eyes had to be willing and couldn't be forced because part of their will resided in their eyes and so if you forced them you wouldn't be able to activate them.

Another way to obtain eternal Mangekyou Sharingan was through learning sage mode as the nature chakra stimulates the Mangekyou Sharingan to evolve into the eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. This hasn't been discovered by the Uchiha because to learn sage mode you need to have large amounts of chakra, which is why no Uchiha has learned sage mode.

Then after you awaken the eternal Mangekyou Sharingan (ems) the next evolution is the Rinnegan, but to do this you had to recreate the sage of the six paths (Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki's) chakra. Which meant that you needed Indras and Asuras chakra and fuse it which could at least take ten years, and luckily Izuna had this chakra but he needed more time to awaken his Rinnegan and he needed the eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.
