64 Battles Begin!

Prince Yun's face turned bright red as he hurried back to his seat. His mind was now filled with the thoughts of kissing Bai Fu. Feng Jie seeing his seventh brother kissing Bai Fu made him feel a little left out. He had yet to kiss his Yu'er yet! Feng Jie leaned back in his chair and whispered to Mu Sha. Mu Sha's eyes went wide before he bowed his head and disappeared. A few seconds later he reappeared behind Wu Shuyu. "Young Miss… Master has something he would like me to ask you."

Seeing Mu Sha's blushing face, Wu Shuyu already had an inkling on what he wanted to ask. Wu Shuyu only smiled as she said: "What does Jie'er want?"

Mu Sha leaned over and whispered into her ear. His cheeks red the entire time as he did. "Haha!" Wu Shuyu let out a laugh. "Tell Jie'er if he can keep it in his pants I am more than willing to kiss him." Getting the answer he came for, Mu Sha disappeared and reappeared behind Feng Jie.

Feng Jie heard Wu Shuyu's answer and a big smile formed on his face. He was very happy now because he would get to feel and taste his Yu'er's soft lips! Seeing the silly grin on Feng Jie's face caused Wu Shuyu to giggle. She had found his reactions to be very cute.

The banquet continued on as normal. After a while, Emperor Feng Yang waved his hand causing Eunuch He to walk up and shout out. "Enlight of today's glorious events. His Majesty the Emperor has arranged for a one on one tournament event for all those of eighteen years of age and under. The first place winner will be granted an Imperial Grace where they can ask for anything they want."

General Wu's eyes lit up. If he could get that Imperial Grace he could get the General's Manor back! General Wu quickly sent out his servant to tell Wu Shuyu's brothers' and sisters' to do whatever they can to win!

Wu Shuyu had a blooming smile on her face as she was really anticipating the up and coming battles. She could not wait to see the blood of her brothers and sister flow off the side of the arena. She stood with the rest of the guests of the banquet as they all made their way to the viewing seats that were arranged for them. Wu Shuyu found herself being dragged by Empress Zhiruo to where the Imperial family sat. It seemed that Empress Zhiruo had taken a very big liking to Wu Shuyu. What surprised Wu Shuyu was that Feng Jie's mother was also here! She was not in the banquet but had come to watch the battles. Wu Shuyu quickly gave her greets to Imperial Concubine Su. "Imperial Concubine Mother."

"Yu'er no need for that! Your Imperial Concubine Mother is just here to witness your glory. Accompany the Empress and ignore your Imperial Concubine Mother we will catch up later." Imperial Concubine Su said with a big smile on her face. She was very happy that Wu Shuyu was getting along so well with Empress Zhi Ruo.

After a few more pleasantries with Imperial Concubine Su, Wu Shuyu finally sat down.

All the guests at the banquet were all anticipating the fights that they were about to see. Emperor Feng Yang stood up which caused all the guests to quickly quiet down. "Today this one on one tournament will be hosted by our daughter Yu'er. Yu'er if you would." Emperor Feng Yang passed control of the tournament to her before sitting back down.

Wu Shuyu smiled as she said. "Thank you, Father Emperor." She then walked down to the arena and stood directly in the middle of it. "Today's contest is for a rare Imperial Grace. The rules are simple. It will be an elimination bout. Two people will fight and the loser will leave the arena and the winner must go on to the next round. The more you win the longer you will need to stay in the arena and fight. Fights will be called only when the opponent is knocked out..." Wu Shuyu's eyes flashed with a bit of killing intent. "Now you might all think this is a little much. But this is a show of how strong you actually are. We want to see who the strongest of the younger generation is. Giving up is not allowed! Ring outs are not counted! You will be thrown back in by the imperial guards. The only way to end a fight is to knock your opponent out! No killing is allowed if it is on purpose. There are many elders watching the fights. It will be seen if you try to kill someone on purpose. If you are caught killing on purpose you will be executed on the spot. This Imperial Daughter will say this now, do not enter this ring unless you have some ability." Wu Shuyu gave a bright smile to everyone in attendance. Her smile was like a bright sun shining down on the evening light.

The guest at the banquet all burst out laughing because who did not know that Wu Shuyu was a waste who could not cultivate. It was only Emperor Feng Yang, Empress Zhiruo, Imperial Concubine Su, Feng Jie, and Bai Fu who did not laugh. They all knew how capable Wu Shuyu was. Actually there was one more who did not laugh because she was too busy trembling in fear. That was Wu Xiang. She had a feeling that if anyone from the Wu Family went up they would not be coming back in one piece.

Wu Shuyu had said her words on purpose because she wanted to bait the idiots of the Wu Family into coming into the arena first. And not only did they take the bait but the first to run into the area with a smug look on her face was Wu Bai!
