27 Bai Fu

"Stop the carriage now!" Wu Shuyu did not even wait for the carriage to come to a full stop before she had already jumped out of it. She chased after the group of men that entered the back alley with the girl leaving a bewildered Qin Ming behind.

Clapping her hands together and dusting off her dress she looked over at the other girl who was looking at her with bright eyes. Getting a little praise for her actions caused Wu Shuyu to rub her nose in embarrassment. "I just happen to see you being pulled in the alley so I came to try to help but when I got here you already took out the two who attacked you."

"I thank you for your help. I was able to catch the other two by surprise but if the other two came and you were not here... There is no telling what would have happened to me. Wu Shuyu then went on to explain to Bai Fu what had happened which caused Bai Fu to burst out laughing.

After laughing her heart out and taking a few minutes to recompose herself Bai Fu continued: "I will say that your father is rather shameless. Did he not realize that he would implicate himself and the rest of his family by doing such things?"

"That is why I say that he is a good for nothing father. Anyway, let's get out of this alley after we search these guys for any valuables." Wu shuyu said as she knelt down and started to pat one of the men down. Bai Fu laughed and started to do the same. After a few minutes, the two girls walked out of the alley with depressed faces.

"I can't believe they did not even have a single silver on them never mind anything else." Bai Fu said dejectedly.

"It was to be expected they didn't look all that well off anyways. Miss Fu if you are not busy now would you like to explore the capital with me?" Wu Shuyu asked. It was rare to find someone who had a mindset that she got along with. So she wanted to be friends with Bai Fu.
