Chapter 6 The Amusing Woman

Told in Micheal's P.O.V.

I was laying on my favorite spot on the forest enjoying the beautiful scenery that always seemed to lift my spirits. It was then that I heard a slight rustling of leaves and snapping of branches. I immediately knew someone was approaching my direction. My eyes narrowed and I became more alert. My body became colder. I was ready to attack. As I felt the person approaching I closed my eyes and my body became still. The person had to come pretty close before they noticed me. I could sense they were not a threat so I patiently waited for their next actions. As they saw my seemingly lifeless body on the floor they began to panic. I heard their heart rate accelerate and I sensed their body start to slightly shake. It seemed that it took a while for them to calm down.

"Hello",the person called. I became a bit distracted by the soft angelic sound but soon furrowed my brows. This wasn't like me.

"Hello",the person called again,this time a bit louder. By the pitch of their voice I could tell it was a female. This female took slow hesitant steps toward me when I didn't respond. She took hesitant steps closer and gently put her hands on my shoulders. After that she suddenly removed her hands. I perceived what she was thinking. Between my cold unresponsive body and my nonexistent heartbeat she probably thought I was dead. Although she only touched me for a moment I felt the warm temperature of her hands. Suddenly confusion hit me. She wasn't cold enough to be a vampire but she wasn't warm enough to be a beast man either. While pondering on this I opened my eyes. I see a stunning woman in front of me staring blankly at her surroundings.Her angelic looks almost distracted my line of thought, but luckily I wasn't one to judge on outward appearance.

I silently scrutinized her. She didn't resemble the female beast men,who had at least one animal body part, or the slightly masculine female vampires. She was a delicate and stunning creature. More gorgeous than anyone else I'd ever seen. Her face was small and round. Her skin was a smooth, creamy white; her nose was slim,small, and cute; and her plump lips tempting peaple to taste them. Her face was already enough to pull you in and her body just increased to that fact. She was curvaceous. Her waist was slim and slender but her hips were wide. Her butt was round and juicy; and her bust was just the right size,not to small or too big. She appeared delicate and fragile as if made to be treasured.

I looked over her again. I especially looked around her head area so see if she had any animal parts ,such as animal ears, to signify that she was part of the beast men race. I already knew she wasn't a vampire,her body was too petite and she smelled faintly of blood. Vampires were dead and therefore could not release the odor of blood. When I didn't see anything indicating her race I became suspicious of her. It was then that she realized my eyes were opened. As our eyes met we both froze and for a moment I felt my nonexistent heart start beating.
