1 Prologue

Solomon and the Seventy-Two Terrorists : prologue

This is not a story for little kids since the bad guys get to live happily ever after. Even though some of our friends are gone, we didn't pay for our crime. So we will use no other words to justify our doings. A terror is a terror. A murder is a murder. We are no heroes, but outlaws. We are winners, but with no sportsmanship. We are just terrorists and peace breakers, with a broken soul.

We all kinda have reasons and back stories, and we're sure many citizens will be interested in it. But we agreed to leave that a secret to the big world. But if, if we can be forgiven, we leave this book "Solomon and The Seventy-Two terrorists", a long and stunning back story full of excuses, explanations..., and sorrows.

So if you want a beautiful story of didactic morality, just find another book. If this book is still in your hands? Well, I plead you to hear our miserable story.

***

It was seven, or six years ago, when I was just fifteen years old. I was going to church with my family. Didn't Believe in god, but that time, it was hard to see someone without a religion. And it was safe that way.

Wars happened, the climate went wild. Many died and some lost their families and friends. Everyone called it a apocalypse. Those who believed in god called the gods to help them. Those who did not began their first prayers. Christians, Buddhists, catholics, Muslims, Hindus and even Zoroastrians built large fortress for praying. Priests with guns protected the followers from street robbers.

Even though my family lived a abundant life because of it, I hated the church, and almost everything in it. Oh, don't get me wrong, I don't have repulsion for not visual things that might not exist. I believed in unicorns when I was a kid. Anyway, it didn't matter if the gods like buddha or Allah are real or not. The reason why I hated church was the highest people there.

Over time, the climate went normal and peace came. But everyone was still suffering from hunger. The problems were the muckamucks. They were always the problem. Like what Erasmus once wrote in 'The Praise of Folly'. "Thanks to me the folly, the pope is having a luxurious time. They murmur a word of praise or curse and flicker their eyes of surveillance through fancy church ceremonies. And then consider themselves loyal enough to their lord." Yep, Erasmus who lived like five hundred years ago was perfectly right about that.

The world we can live on shrank a lot. People who survived were living in different places without their nation's protection. The place where I lived was probably in somewhere Russia. The ground which once been Russia's territory. No nation remained. No presidents and no kings. But even in that desperate situation, someone always takes power. That time, the pope did. The pope and his priests showed a rotten version of politics. They didn't even try to hide their corruption and lies. They didn't have to. Their biggest weapon, 'God' was there to blind the foolish citizens perfectly.

As normal, I entered the church with a crumpy face. That was when I met him, the great and wise Solomon.
