127 Chapter 121- Fifth Floor: The General

Many months ago. In the Goddess' Realm.

The person with whom Haru was training these days was someone of his age, named Kurogane Ikki.

Apart from high battle sense and the phenomenal sword techniques he showed, Ikki was quite a gentleman and easy to talk with. Later on, Haru admitted that the person with whom he had the easiest time was Ikki.

Several months have passed already since Haru began training under Ikki and he could say, his physical attributes and his knowledge about weapons have elevated significantly.

Today, however, Ikki has decided to give Haru knowledge about a skill that he couldn't demonstrate.

"Haruka-san, since you possess every skill that I have, I would like you to know about something important." Haru still remembers how serious Ikki was at that time

Haru nodded and wordlessly asked the guy to continue,

"Every blazer in my world is born with a limitation to them and that limitation binds them with their fate. A blazer can indeed train to become a better version of themselves but their limit would always come in the way when they reach a certain point."

"However, there are some blazers who can break their limitation and set themselves free of the chains of fate. In such a case, the blazer's state of mind becomes quite unstable and their power elevates significantly. If anything, I would ask you Haruka-san, to never let yourself get cornered to the point where you need to break your restraint."

With his eyes turning frosty, Ikki warned, "Otherwise, you may lose sight of your target and end up doing something that your conscious mind would never dare to."

Haru, at that time, felt really interested in this technique and wanted to learn more. However, Ikki told him that Haru may never break his chains as such it wasn't important to learn about it much.

However, it was a heavy miscalculation on both Ikki and Haru's end that he would never enter the state and unlock his Demonic Persona.

"Hmm?" Kenjaku, who had been lazily watching the battle between a strange sorcerer and Ryomen Sukuna from afar suddenly raised his brows in alarm.

Something was not right.

'This terror...this darkness...' The sky where the battle was ensuing has turned entirely midnight with thunder rumbling like it would break the surface in two any moment now.

The oppressive feeling of an entity that shouldn't exist in this world profusely expanded as Kenjaku found himself frowning now.

"Such a dense presence...what have you triggered, Sukuna?"

A grin soon formed on Kenjaku's lips as he realized what the change of events could lead to. Regardless of the results, Kenjaku was sure of his victory.

Everything now depended on how this new existence would act.

Ryomen Sukuna was no longer grinning like before.

Right before his eyes the Two Shikigamis he launched at the brat, dissolved in the air without a single chance of counter.

And the figure that emerged from the shadows was anything but a human.

He now resembled a monstrous figure with two jet-black horns protruding from his head. His eyes had turned a haunting shade of white, devoid of any color or emotion. As he stood there, a powerful and commanding aura emanated from him, filling the space with an overwhelming sense of dominance.

The air trembled under his sheer pressure with the darkened sky seemingly fairer in comparison to the miasma he was emitting. His Cursed Energy, unlike before, was in full display. However, the amount of Cursed Energy a single person was emitting could easily make a low-ranking sorcerer, faint in shock and traumatize them for life.

'He isn't affected by my Domain.'

The cleave and dismantle which surely would have hit anyone within the range of Malevolent Shrine was not inflicting any damage on the Demonic creature.

Condensed black miasma was radiating around the creature like a blanket; making Sukuna experience a sensation he had never felt before.

'Quite interesting...' Clasping his palms, Sukuna launched the piercing blood toward the creature...only to find the direction of the piercing blood bending against Sukuna's will.

Sukuna didn't dwell on the reason before he launched several slashes in the creature's direction....only to find none of it landing on the target.

'Something is not right...' He was curious whether his opponent's limitation lied but the King of Curses wasn't a fool to not do anything and let the monster approach him.

The wheel on Sukuna's head hasn't turned entirely, signifying that it would still take some time for him to adapt to Infinity. Unluckily, Haru hasn't been using much of his Cursed Technique against Sukuna which was delaying the adaptability.

In that particular moment, when Sukuna was contemplating his next movement, for the first time after his transformation,

Haru moved.

"!!!" Sukuna raised his left hand diagonally behind him, as he sensed the approaching danger.

*SLASH*

However, the next moment, Haru was no longer there, rather he levitated right before Sukuna with something in his hand.

It was Sukuna's arm.

Regrowing his lost part, Sukuna directed a hook punch towards the creature in front. However, like getting blocked by a force field, his punch never landed.

Even after using Domain Amplification, the results were the same. Whichever attack he used or however he used his technique, the brat was not budging.

'I need to-' Just the very thought of making some distance and observing Haru came into his mind, Sukuna felt something piercing his chest; even though his opponent had yet to move.

'....that wasn't enhanced speed....' Sukuna knew, even a little movement from the brat would have been perceived by him. But like the whole process of extracting his heart was skipped and the end result was presented before his eyes, Sukuna found his heart now in the Demonic creature's grasp.

"Guh..." Even if it was the King of Curses, such a sudden attack would surely draw a groan from him.

However, Sukuna wasn't done yet,

"Mahoraga!" Calling for his strongest Shikigami, Sukuna jumped back and left the two demons against each other .

Haru was saving the ability to kill anyone with a single command for Mahoraga. However, in his current state, he was not thinking clearly. Or more like his mind was overwhelmed by a sensation of nothing but slaughter.

The behemoth. The Strongest Shikigami. The Eight-Handled Divine General Mahoraga has entered the battlefield.

But the question arises, how long would it take for this re-awakened Haru to take down everything that comes in his way?

*****

A/N:- Haru has broken his limits and reached a realm which was god-like. Now, finally, his true essence would come into play.

The reason why he was chosen. The reason why he was so adored by the goddess. The reason why he was given so many opportunities. And the reason why, Haru would dominate every battlefield he enters.

Haah, the story finally coming to an end, heh. This might be the first fanfiction that I would conclude. Thank you for being a part of the journey so far. Please keep reading this until the end.
