125 Chapter 119- Fifth Floor: Divergence

The battle between an outsider and the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna has taken a new fold within three minutes after the battle commencement.

Sukuna had his suspicion when he saw those eyes but this boy indeed possesses abilities like Gojo Satoru.

'But there is more to it...' Healing the left side of his body, Sukuna assessed the boy.

The duration between when the boy didn't have the protection of Simple Domain and Sukuna's domain broke down because of Reversal Red was merely ten seconds. In those ten seconds, hundreds of slashes cut the boy from different spots, with the intensity to kill a human or sorcerer easily.

However, the brat kept on using RCT to heal himself and despite that much usage of Cursed Energy, he seemed still far from being exhausted.

And on the other side, although the Reversal Red has deformed Sukuna's body to a significant extent, healing his vessel this much was nothing.

The battle continues.

"What are you? A failed experiment to replicate that delusional fool?"

Haru didn't have to ask who this 'delusional fool' was referring to.

He didn't intend to answer as he prepared himself for another attack.

Haru was unprepared for a Domain battle, given his half-knowledge about Sukuna's domain.

Although using Six Eyes he was efficiently using his mana (CE) he still was far from Gojo Satoru's level when it came to preserving CE. However, in exchange, his brian—who has gone through quite many experiences—would be able to endure and chant more Cursed Technique compared to Gojo.

All he needed was to study Sukuna's domain and its weaknesses before striking with his own.

'Here it comes!' Drawing his blade Haru slashed the big boulder headed in his direction. However, the boulder was just a divergence since the real threat was already behind Haru.

"Cleave."

Haru didn't panic since the Infinity was now enshrouding him the whole time.

The concrete around him was slashed and so was the boulder he sliced diagonally just now.

Haru turned to look at the place where Sukuna should be however the only thing he found approaching was a wolf-like beast with two large hands.

'A shikigami? But why?'

For Sukuna to not attack him directly meant there was something bad about this.

Haru held his blade in a front stance before his foot began moving in rapid succession, creating after images.

The shikigame halted in its way since the target it was supposed to attack was now everywhere around it.

However, the beast was only there to follow the command of its master, regardless of how tricky it was.

Baring its fangs it raised its claws and attacked the nearest image.

*SLASH*

An air-slashing cut was made where the beast lowered its arms but to no avail.

The wolf turned to slash another image...only to find its arm already severed and black smoke leaking out it.

The shikigami didn't get the chance to strike again before a blade pierced through its torso and sliced the beast open from the middle.

*Thud*

The Shikigami dropped to the ground before it got absorbed in an elongated shadow.

Haru narrowed his eyes before following the trail of the shadow...only to find Sukuna advancing toward him at an astonishing pace.

Haru raised his arms in a cross instinctively before he felt a bone-shuddering sensation spreading across his whole system.

*BOOOOM*

He didn't have the time to stop himself as his body flew across the field before crashing into one of the buildings.

"Khak!" Haru spat some blood as he finally came to a halt after receiving that devastating blow.

'I lowered my guard because of Infinity...and forgot about Domain Amplification...' The ability to bypass a Cursed Technique was what Sukuna utilized to counter his Infinity.

'But why the delay...' His answer was present right before him.

The reason why Sukuna sent a shikigami to be sacrificed was because he chanted the wheel of Mahoraga above his head.

That chakra...undoubtedly was there to adapt to Haru's infinity. And it would help Sukuna battle against Gojo as well.

'But why...he wants to adapt to Infinity despite having the skill to chant Domain Amplification?"

Haru didn't have the luxury to keep thinking about it as suddenly he saw Sukuna clasping his hand and a red liquid forming at the tip of his fingers.

Haru didn't panic given how Sukuna couldn't channel the effect of Domain Amplification to his technique.

Rather, since he is using a Cursed Technique meant that he wasn't sustaining the Amplification anymore.

Haru levitated in the air and dodged the piercing blood easily before he held his blade over his shoulder in the same fashion as before.

His body glowed with the same bluish hue when he used Saegeki.

Sukuna stopped using Piercing Blood as he grinned upon finding the boy preparing to attack.

'Another attempt?' The undefeated king realized the killing intent of the brat was now all channeled to a single point, near the left side of Sukuna's chest.

'A sword technique to find a focal point and charge with a ferocious speed...hmm, not bad.' if someone else, then they might have faced severe consequences against this sword art. However, for someone who has experience of centuries, Sukuna could easily sense the killing intent from miles away.

Point one second it took before Haru arrived right before Sukuna with his blade extended forward.

However, just like before, Sukuna offered an arm at the right exact spot, near his chest to divert the attack.

"!!!"

But what Sukuna didn't anticipate was the fact that Haru would let go of his blade at the last moment and launch a direct attack with his fist.

The duration of the shift of attacks was unbelievably fast even for Sukuna to adapt and respond as he felt lights from his eyes disappearing once Haru's fist landed on his face.

"Kokusen!" With all his strength converted at the point where his knuckle connected to Sukuna's fist, Haru released black lightning through his strike and struck Sukuna with one of the most devastating blows, known to mankind.

*BOOOOOOM*

Sukuna's body was planted on the concrete with that strike, that came down like lightning.

A huge crater was formed around his body with Sukuna remaining at the center of it.

Taking advantage of the vulnerability, Haru raised his right hand, and after crossing his finger, some simple words left his throat,

"Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void."

Saegeki: A charging and anti-material strike, where a person uses his arm and leg strength alongside his power charging speed combined with his superhuman body control; focusing all the vectors of his power directed at the point of his sword, granting it the highest offensive power among his secret swords and making it the quickest to charge. Haru has modified this technique and rather than focusing on the point of his weapon, he focuses on his target.
