124 Chapter 118- Fifth Floor: Battle of Domains?

Sukuna's domain wasn't field-restricted, rather, it opens in the real world and covers a certain distance as its effective area.

Cleave and Dismantle remained his sure hit effect of the domain and within a moment, he could launch thousands of slashes on me—which would surely conclude the battle at once.

If I had opened a domain at the same time he did, it would have been a close call, that's why, I preserved my energy and wordlessly chanted a Simple Domain.

A small barrier erected around me at the same time, Malevolent Shrine appeared right before me.

The barrier would allow me to separate myself from the real world as such it would negate the sure-hit ability of the domain.

"So you know how to defend. But for how long that defense would last?" A moment ago, Sukuna was almost thirty meters away, and the next moment, he was right before me with his punch held high.

I raised both of my arms and blocked the devastating blow head-on.

As he said, my simple domain would crumble within half a minute given the strength of Sukuna's domain; however, that much time was alright for me.

I pushed his punch back with brute force before punching his gut—only to be blocked easily by Sukuna.

He twisted my fist before slashing his free hand in a chopping motion toward my neck.

I used the forearm of my free hand to block the attack but the force of his assault was hard enough to make my bones shake.

The grin on his face told me that he was buying time to let my Simple Domain crumble and let the sure-hit effect slice me into potato chips.

'Augmentation!' Increasing my physical stats by twofolds, I pushed Sukuna away before launching myself in the air with my blade held on my shoulder.

Locking Sukuna's torso as my aim, I used all my focus on the tip of my blade before launching myself forward with a meteor rush,

"Saigeki!" The blue hue surrounded my body before the distance between my blade and Sukuna disappeared in point-one second with my physical stats now elevated to three folds.

My blade indeed pierced something however I didn't have the time to assess what I stabbed since my Simple Domain instantly crumbled after the attack and numerous slashes were bestowed on my whole person.

I used the Reverse Cursed Technique to keep healing myself as my feet staggered to remain constant at a spot.

'Fuck!' I gritted my teeth in agitation as I realized that Sukuna had offered his mere arm at the precise location where I was about to stab him.

"Your killing intent was so linear and focused that it was a child's play dodging it." Sukuna casually elaborated how easy was it for him to divert that attack and given his excessive Cursed Energy reserve, he healed that wound in an instant.

'I need to flee...' My brain was overworking because of the many slashes I was facing passing each moment. I need to get out of this zone or I won't be able to counter any of his other attacks.

Sheathing my blade, I turned toward my left and launched forward...only to face Sukuan standing in the way with his hands joined in a hammer.

"Like hell, I would let you run away!"

I crossed my arm above my head before a groundbreaking blow landed on my arms, pushing me meters inside the concrete.

The cobweb that formed around me describes the monstrous strength Sukuna carries all while maintaining his domain!

Lost in choices I created another Simple Domain around me as I blocked a kick from Sukuna and used my Infinity to push him away.

The brief window I gained from Sukuna's surprised reaction enabled me to utter a breakthrough incantation,

"Curse Reversal: Red!"

There was a gloomy atmosphere around the surveillance room from where everyone was watching the battle between Haru and Sukuna. Although only a few minutes had passed since the battle commenced, it was clear who was dominating the field.

"It was a foolish decision to let him go after all. Against that domain, not even several Simple Domains can be useful. While the guy's cursed technique is admirable, Sukuna's astronomical Cursed Energy would crush him within minutes."

The one who spat in disdain was Kusakabe, who knew the conclusion of the battle even before it started. And not only him, but everyone except for Yuji and Gojo believed that Haru would get trampled on, in this battle.

Seeing that grin on his face everyone frowned, but soon when they re-established their eyes on the screen, every single person in the room except for Gojo felt their mind turning numb and their mouth parting agape in great astonishment.

Nanase Haruka has used the infamous Reversed Cursed Technique, Reversal Red.

This battle seems to have gained a new form with Haru on the offense now.
