Darius Admor thought he could coast along in life once his magical talent bloomed and he learned he could manipulate probability. Money, favors, and opportunities would fly into his lap at the snap of his fingers. But when you have the power to twist fate in your favor, it tends to snap back at you when you've let go. Darius' parents, powerful mages in their own right, were killed by gangsters. After falling under the protection of a rival gang he is forced to join them, his luck having run dry.
Working for the gang that saved him, he tries to get his life back together until one more turn of fate threatens his life again, and changes his life forever.
