Eradication turned to Warning

As Kara followed Yuri, the thief, she made sure to read his memories. And the memories she found made her curious about the so-called sister.

Eventually, when she analyzed Yuri's sister, she found her to be magically talented; so, she decided to take them in. Another reason is Yuri, a skilled thief as well. Good subordinates are hard to find, after all.

However, Kara didn't want to carry baggage, so she sent the siblings to their make-shift camp with the elves and spirits, with a note too.

Anyway, from the memories of Yuri, Kara found out that all sorts of slaves get sold daily within the empire. Especially within the noble circles.

From the memories, dwarves or any highly skilled races are expensive commodities within the empire. Races naturally blessed with beauty are the most popular among the nasty nobles, from aged women lusting over some Elven man to a man drooling over a catgirl.

Knowing this, Kara wanted to get them all and maybe have them volunteer to be studied. Not bodily experimentations, of course, just X-Rays and unharmful stuff.

Anyway, Kara had seen enough of what this human country has to offer. From what she has observed and gathered, Kara believes that humans need a warning.

So with everything that Kara had seen, she and Aerys made their way to the floating city. As they floated up, unknown to all, Kara started seeing flying ships more frequently.

"Hey, Aerys. What do you feel knowing that the race that summoned you here are acting like this?" Kara asked curiously; she wanted to know Aerys' stance on the matter.

However, it didn't take a second before she answered. "I was young and naive then, but now it's different. If before, I felt nothing. Now, all I feel is disgust towards the humans of this planet."

From the memories of the Duke, their empire has become a death zone for all other races. Generation after generation, humans constantly looked down on others, almost as if naturally.

Within minutes, they were now on the floating city, New Haven. It was clean and safe, a far cry from what's below. The two didn't stop casting the invisibility. After all, they were unfamiliar faces in these parts.

Not wanting to waste time, Kara went on and did her magic, sensing any living being that doesn't have the signature of a human. It's easy actually, considering the brain waves of the average human — you can easily separate it from the rest.

From Kara's senses, she sensed nearly a hundred captured dwarves and other non-human races. Another easy way to find them was the magical signature on their necks, a slave seal, in a sense.

With a thought, she teleported them to where Kainas was. Of course, it also happened for the Demi-humans on Senex. For insurance, she sent a mental transmission to Kainas. Basically, allowing those who wish to go back to their countries to be free and on their merry way. However, they only needed to wait for Kara since she would teleport them to their supposed countries.

And unsurprisingly, the disappearance of their slaves and workers shocked people. Well, Kara doesn't care for it, anyway.

"Now, the most important one on my list. [Search: Books]" But just like when she was in the World Tree, there was a building oozing an aura of books!

(AN: Whenever I use [...], it means I'm using a spell.)

"Aerys! Hurry! That building over there is oozing books. It's like they were expecting me!" Kara said out loud and quickly dragged Aerys there. Unknown to her, it really was prepared for her.

Once inside, Kara directly passed through the surrounding barrier and alerted those responsible for it. It took Kara approximately 30 minutes to collect everything.

Unbeknownst to her, because of the excitement, a squad of guards has already stationed themselves outside. Meanwhile, others went and reported to their superiors of a sudden intrusion.

And not surprisingly, once Kara stepped out, every guard present brandished their arms and readied their spells. "Halt! State your name and reason for entering this prohibited building!"

"Hm, it seems due to my excitement, I just barged into their barrier, huh?" nonchalantly commented Kara. "Master, it appears so. Shall I take care of them?"

"Woah, Woah, Woah! I don't want you to Fus Ro Dah, my future base! Let me handle it. I'll show you how an artist like myself handles it." As Kara said this, she teleported them to Senex.

Kara, after all, didn't want to cause needless bloodshed on her future base. "But I was just going to knock them out," Aerys reasoned.

"Is that so? Well, I've had enough fun on this planet and this country. Let's get this show on the road." And like previously, Kara teleported every human on the floating islands down back to Senex.

She then placed all the islands into her dimensional space. If not for her tremendous mana, such a thing would be impossible for a person.

What's left was Aerys and Kara floating in the skies of the empire. 'Time for a speech.'

Kara then unfurled her wings, and her halo appeared on the side of her head. Aerys did too.

The duo floated down onto the chaos happening down below just enough so everyone could see them. Probably because of the group of massive floating islands disappearing. Yeah, probably.

With a voice-powered by mana, she spoke. "Well, good day to you, people of this empire." With manners taught by Laura, she greeted them.

Her voice got the attention of everyone, and when they saw the owner, they all were stunned since it was an 'angel' speaking.

"Your empire has gone too far that you have become a plague on these lands. Things like racism, slavery, needless war, and many other things must end.

"And so, I will give your empire a ten-year time limit to fix yourselves. Renew yourselves as a race, today I took a floating city. The next time, maybe the lives of the corrupted.

"As for the punishment, well, it's up to you people to imagine it. I have claimed the floating islands as my trophy and show of power." Kara said. She halted her thoughts on blasting the humans after thinking it through.

As Kara said this, she erected a pen-ahem! She constructed a massive slab just outside of Senex with a countdown of ten years.

Kara said nothing anymore and disappeared along with Aerys to some other parts of the empire.

"Master, I thought you were going to eradicate them?" Aerys asked curiously. "Indeed, I did. However, my old self would've never done this. I should remember to keep myself grounded. Recently, my thoughts have been rather wild," Kara replied with a bit of a frown.

"Old self?" When Kara heard this, she immediately waved it off, "A story for next time."

'Now that I think of it, ever since that fight with Kamish, my thoughts are starting to get unhinged and wild. If not for Yuri's sister where I had a moment to think of Aela again, I wonder what would I have done now.'

In the end, Kara left it in her mind, for now.

"Let's just go; I still have the rescued slaves to teleport back. Since I saved them, I have the responsibility to go all the way." Kara's statement got a raised eyebrow from Aerys.

'Master and responsibilities? Never thought such combination would happen.'

(CHEERS!)

AN: Moshi~ Moshi~ Welp, I didn't update cause I was mentally drained and could only make a short one today.

Thoughts on the chapter: Some might be bummed out about Kara not going Jibril 2.0 on humanity. BUT, I think this is fine. I think, I forgot that Kara was also a peaceful human once, and not only a Flugel.
