"OId man, I'm back."

Perseus greeted his father as he entered his office.

"Did you watch the livestream? You're gonna keep your promise right?"

"Yeah…yeah, who do you think I am..."

He signalled Laura to retrieve Kamish's Wrath that was kept in their guild basement.

Perseus sat down on the sofa and made himself comfortable, and decided to ask another question.

"Old man, do you know how I can obtain Kamish's heart?"

Hearing Perseus' words, Thomas Andre's gaze suddenly sharpened and the temperature in the room dropped.

"Now why would you need that?" Perseus felt as if Thomas Andre was staring right through his soul.

Quickly coming up with a believable answer, Perseus told Thomas that his body was unable to handle that much mana and was slowly breaking down. Only by replacing his human heart with another heart that can withstand his mana would he then be able to live.

Staring intently at Perseus, Thomas thought for a moment before sighing.

"I had already expected that. Since young, I could already sense that your vitality was way poorer than any of your peers. Turns out, your high mana was the reason for it."

Pausing for another moment, Thomas took a deep breath and said

"Kamish's Heart is still within his body. But it's almost impossible for anyone to obtain it. Apart from the fang that I was allowed to keep as a souvenir, the rest of Kamish's body is considered National Property. Meaning, it belongs to America. Back then, countless guilds were vying for any part of Kamish, and a bloodbath nearly occurred just to obtain even a scale of his. In the end, the Federal Bureau of Hunters HQ was created over its corpse, and was considered American Property from then on."

"At any point in time, that place is guarded by 10 S ranks and over 100 A ranks. Even I won't be able to make it out alive if I try to enter by force."

"Forget about Kamish's Heart alright, I'm sure there are other Hearts you can use. The next time an S Rank dungeon opens, I'll personally enter the dungeon to get you the monster heart. Don't worry too much."

Just then, a knock could be heard, and the doors were pushed open. Laura walked in holding a massive suitcase in her arms. Walking over to Perseus and Thomas, she placed the suitcase down on the coffee table. In return, a creaking sound could be heard.

Thomas Andre then reached out to place his palm on the suitcase before injecting mana into it. Turns out, the suitcase was specially produced just to store Kamish's Wrath and only Thomas Andre was able to open it.

Soon, a satisfying 'click' sound could be heard.

Looking at the now open suitcase, Perseus saw the famed Kamish's Wrath. It was a pair of large light orange daggers with grey hilts and glowing blood-red edges, with one dagger being thicker than the other. The smaller dagger has a black blade guard, while the thicker one has a golden blade guard.

Lifting it up, Perseus could feel the dagger decreasing in weight when he willed it to. Finally satisfied, he thanked his father before asking for another favour.

"Hey dad, do you still have the A Rank mask you got from clearing the S rank Dungeon in Brazil?"

"Yeah? Do you need it?"

Nodding his head, Perseus said

"Sit back and enjoy the show, old man. You'll enjoy it for sure."

Before he followed Laura to the Guild Warehouse to retrieve the mask.
