21 Chapter 20

His words clearly made their impact but the hero didn't listen. Instead, he put more pressure on Izuna's shoulders.

Izuna unsheathe his sword before swinging at the hand.

All Might:"Young man, wait!!!"

Izuna stopped his blade as it cut into one centimeter of skin. He sighed before sheathing his sword. Before All Might could say any more, steam was slowly being released from his body. Cementos immediately made a wall in front of All Might, blocking him from view.

The class 1-A students were rounded up and taken care off by the heroes and the police. One of the cops with a dog nose walks up to him.

Naomasa:"I'm Investigator Naomasa Tsukauchi, I would like for you to follow us to the station."

Izuna nods before following him to one of the police cars. As Izuna walked towards the car, one of the policemen wanted to handcuff him but a look from Naomasa stopped him.

The ride to the station, while short felt long for Izuna. He was very deep in thought.

'I need to remind myself that killing isn't exactly welcome here. Then again, I've been living in a world where you must be ready to die. It's technically not my fault. Here I don't need to kill any problem that comes my way.'

He had a content look because for the first time in his 14 years of rebirth, he could finally relax.

As they got to the station, they took him to a bare room with only two chairs and a table between them. Classic place for interrogations.

As he sat down, he felt someone's presence behind the wall beside him. This has been one of the things he noticed since coming to this world. He couldn't sense their chakra. He could sense something but it wasn't chakra, it was something else. Like their life energy. It was like chakra but less potent.

Putting that thought out of his mind, he focused on the life energy behind the wall. He knew it was one of the heroes that were present at the USJ because it felt familiar, he just didn't know who.

As he was thinking, Chief Naomasa walked in and sat in the chair opposite him. He was holding a few sheets of paper.

Naomasa:"Let's get straight to the point. What is your name?"

Izuna:"Izuna Uchiha"

Naomasa:"What is your quirk?"

Izuna decided to mess with him a bit.

Izuna:"Could you elaborate on that?"

Naomasa:"Eye witnesses state that you caught a punch comparable to All Might's full power without breaking a sweat. They also said that you used some kind of black flame to dispose of it. So I'll ask again. What.Is.Your.Quirk."

Izuna smiled mysteriously before answering.

Izuna:"I'll only answer if you tell whoever is behind that wall to come in here and join us."

Naomasa looked surprised and considered it before looking towards the wall and nodding. A few second later, a short man wearing an oversized business suit walked in. He had sunken black eyes with blue pupils. Blond hair that looked disheveled.

I clearly recognize him. I give a smirk while looking at the short man.

Izuna:"Well, if it isn't All Might himself."

That instantly put them on high alert. Their faces, if possible, turn harden further.

Naomasa:"Who are you?"

Izuna:"Like I said before. I'm Izuna Uchiha."

Izuna was clearly having fun, as shown by the smug smile on his face. Just then, an officer walked into the room and whispered something in Naomasa's ear before leaving.

Naomasa:"You say your name is Izuna Uchiha, then why is there no record of anybody with that name."

This was where he started spouting bullshit.

Izuna:"You won't find my name in any records because I don't exist. At least legally. I'm an orphan, my birth wasn't documented. I lived on the streets laying low. I stole what I needed for food and clothing. I hired a hacker to find anything related to my name. Imagine how surprised I was when he found literally nothing. I don't exist."

Never in Izuna's life, had he ever spouted so much bullshit in one seating. And he felt damn proud of himself. They seemed to believe his story.

Naomasa:"Then what is your quirk."

'This guy is heartless. I just told him all that and he's still asking about my quirk. Not even a "sorry you had a bad life." Damn dog!'

Izuna:"My quirk is called chakra. It's a weird energy that I can manipulate to produce specific effects."

Naomasa:"So your saying that your quirk gives you super strength and allows you to create black flames. Explain."

Izuna:"I have no reason to explain. You wouldn't force all might to explain his quirk, would you?"

He was trying so hard not to burst into laughter as he saw frustration clear on the inspectors face. Izuna then looked to All Might, who had been silent all this while.

Izuna:"I'm not working with him, if that's what you're thinking."

All Might looked very cautious at this point.

All Might:"Who?"

Izuna:"All for One."

That name was like a taboo. As the air became tense.

All Might:" I won't ask how you know that name, seeing as how you've been leading Naomasa in circles. But how do I know that what you say is true?"

Izuna:"Look at the evidence. Oh wait...I destroyed the evidence."

He says the last part with a slightly regretful expression. All was silent for a while.

All Might:"So what are we going to do with you? You're too dangerous for us to let you run loose?"

Izuna:"I have no idea."

This time he was being truthful because he actually didn't know what he wanted to do in this world.

All Might:"I would like to propose an idea. Why don't you attend UA."

Naomasa:"You can't be serious. For all we know he could be a criminal."

Even Izuna was surprised. He didn't expect All Might to offer him to go to UA. But thinking about it, it made sense. This way they could easily monitor him.

'Two can play at that game.'

Izuna:"I accept."

Naomasa sighed in exasperation as he knew there was no taking All Might out of this.

All Might:"I'll take you to Principal Nezu tomorrow. Do you have anywhere to stay for the night?"

Izuna:"Nope. Orphan remember?"

All Might looked to be in serious thought before speaking.

All Might:"Follow me."

He led Izuna out of the station to an empty alley and transformed, before grabbing him and leaping towards UA.

It took some time before they arrived. All Might set him down before powering down, resisting the urge to cough out blood.

All Might:" Sorry about that. I needed to get us here and that was the quickest way I could think of."

He said that with a not so sorry expression as he looks at Izuna's now disheveled hair. Izuna on the other hand settled for glaring at him as they walked into the UA building.
