A Impish Imp

The reincarnate leans over and takes the card out of the undead orc's body. To the disappointment of the onlookers that had hoped for a more drawn out fight.

The hiding imp however seems to be rather delighted with how things turned out. He gives a thumbs-up as if it was a plan between the two of them. The reincarnate returns a small smile whilst also quickly grabbing the little arm of that nimble small creature. The imp's visibly surprised as he squeals painfully, the strength in the grip nearly twisting the not even child-sized creature's arm.

"Ah AUW stop sir, please sir. I'm begging you." The imp says immediately calling the one he got in trouble with the title sir. Either in an attempt to swindle him out of this situation or there is some politeness in the imp's small brain.

"Why should I? You could have gotten me killed." The reincarnate's says focusing some blood magic on the holding arm, the grip tightening even more as his strength increases.

"Of course not great, sir. I know you would win." The imp says, trying to suppress his groans and respond accordingly. The small creature had meanwhile fallen on his knees, unable to stand on them as he twists his body trying to suppress the pain.

"That's quite easy to say." The reincarnate answers not impressed by the imp's excuses. Rather instead a sense of anger dwells up in the reincarnation. What if he wasn't able to defeat the orc or if he had gotten wounded? There were some things he could still do but to be forced so because of some small creature bringing his troubles to him.

"I don't have a second card, so I think I will just kill you." The reincarnate announces while forming a spear of darkness.

"NOOOOOO, PLEASE!! PLEASE!! I CAN HELP YOU!!" The imp says struggling for its life as he tries to pointlessly resist against the way larger man. If the imp had anything going for himself it at the very least wasn't strength.

"How?"The reincarnate inquires holding the spear made out of darkness pulled back. Ready to impale the small creature's stomach if needed.

"Great sir is new around here, right? I know someone who can help you. Very wise and very trustworthy!" The imp yells in either lucky guess or because it was hiding that he knew more than he let on.

"Why would you think that?" The reincarnate asks not amused by the concept that the label "tourist" or "newbie" seems to be plastered on his forehead.

"Everyone displays information you just have to know how to see it, great sir. I don't believe great sir has any soullike magic yet you captured his soul. Of course, I can be wrong..... And you're very strong already, great sir… PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!!!!" The imp says tears dwelling in its eyes as he's forced to continue to explain himself.

'If he's speaking about displaying information. Does that mean appraisal or is he just able to read somehow from their body language?' The reincarnate thinks whilst trying to feel if the creature before him has any mana. If he does, he's capable of hiding it which would be a worrying sign. The emerald-colored eyes of the reincarnate flicker as he uses the spell himself.

A short vision appears of children causing trouble in the streets. Distracting shop owners as they secretly rob the owner whilst he's distracted. They giggle as another child in the faraway distance keeps an eye on them. The vision moves to the lonely kid keeping an eye, yet it keeps moving as if the child is so far away that he cannot be reached. There the vision ends, shorter than what the reincarnate had expected.

"Why are you looking at me like that, great sir." The imp says tears still trickling down his face as the reincarnate continues to silently watch him.

"Who is this person that can help me?" The arm loosens his grip not physically hurting , the smaller creature any longer. The red skinned imp's face immediately brightens, seeing his chance of survival rise.

"She's the mistress, great sir. A powerful seer who lives in the lower district." The imp tries to say in an a mysterious tone, deepening his voice yet failing spectacularly. Instead, the imp sounds like a kid trying with no talent to act.

"Lower district?"

"My apologies, great sir. I had forgotten that you're new here." The imp goes back to the subservient and apologetic tone. Before hope visibly brightens his eyes and voice. "Will you let me live if I explain the districts, almighty sir?"

"Your chances of dying will be lower at lea....." The reincarnate couldn't even finish his sentence before the small imp starts rambling.

"You see beautiful and powerful sir Lucille's Light has 5 districts: The abandoned district, the blood district, the market district, the upper district, and the lower district. The abandoned district is the district where failed experiments get dropped off. You know like weak chimeras or chimeras who can't be controlled. The blood district is the district with all the arenas. It's basically the place to be if you're looking to make a reputation by murdering someone or if you are looking for a place where everybody wants to kill. The market district is the district where they trade. People tend to avoid fighting there seeing that some shops are protected by stronger and scarier demons than themselves. The upper and lower districts: These are more like the living quarters of Lucille's light. Lower demons tend to live together in the lower district and stronger ones in the upper." The imp says in one breath, spouting all the information he can think of in his small brain.

"Was, was that an acceptable explanation, sir?" The imp stutters looking at the one in control of his life.

The reincarnates anger had disappeared from his face. Instead, the more familiar "couldn't care less" face has returned. A face that unfortunately has become his natural look after the years listening to speeches of Cornelius.

"Lead the way" The reincarnate says as he pulls up the imp.
