7 Breakthrough

The Liu clan was a small clan from Azure Water city. It has been declining for many years and a lot of people were coveting their businesses. Recently Hualing's father the patriarch got poisoned by a rival clan that has sent a spy as a servant to put a toxin in his glass. Her father was using his cultivation to push back the poison but his health was degrading bit by bit.

Liu Hualing and a couple of servants left for the jade forest in hope of finding the moon pacifying herb and stabilize her father's situation.

It was an herb reputed to heal most diseases and would also be able to momentarily neutralize the poison. Although it wouldn't heal him it would still buy time and was good enough.

After one week of search they finally found one but they only had time to snatch it before the red leopard rushed at them.

It was probably lurking around using the herb and it's surroudings rich in qi to gain strenght which was why it was so infuriated seeing people taking it.

"Did you really kill it?" Liu Hualing asked pointing at the red horned leopard.

She still had a hard time believing Ye Mo took care of it when it decimated her whole group by itself. He seemed around the same age as her after all.

Ye Mo wasn't thirteen yet but his well developed body made him look older, if she knew that she would be much more suspicious.

"Sure i did, who else?" Ye Mo has been waiting on top of a tree the whole time and when the red horned leopard attacked Liu Hualing, he jumped from his branch and with all the strenght he had cleaved exactly on the neck injury of the beast. He thought it would be enough to decapitate it, it must be known that with his current strenght Ye Mo could break the ribs of anyone with one punch but even then his machete stopped halfway through. The leopard was left flailing on the ground and Ye Mo madly rushed at it ending it's life.

All this happened in a very short time and Liu Hualing didn't see any of it, Ye Mo wouldn't tell her either. All this contributed in her impression of him being a very stong and reliable man, he saved her life after all.

"How about coming as a guest to my Liu clan? We would treat you well, you won't be disappointed." Asked Liu Hualing with shining eyes.

She was very expectant. She couldn't sense any qi fluctuations from Ye Mo which means either he had no cultivation at all or there was a huge gap between his and her level so he could easily hide it from her. Being a witness of his prowess it was obvious what she would think of it.

If she could make an expert like him join her clan they would have much less trouble handling their ennemies. She didn't even consider body refining cultivation as those who did would either be retards or extremely rich young master with a top notch body refining technique and no one fitted this description in Azure Water city.

"I will think about it." Ye Mo politely refused.

Joining a clan was as far as possible of what he wanted. He needed to be free of his movements, for him becoming a member of a clan was akin to a life slave contract and since he wasn't even blood related he would never be anything more than an external elder.

"You should think quickly, there's many benefits in joining my clan." Smiling Liu Hualing was roaming her index on his muscular chest.

Ye Mo couldn't be said to be good looking, his face was just above average but his muscular body and the aura of fierceness surrounding him could be attractive for multiple women. After everything that happened Liu Hualing was more than inclined in giving her body if she could recruit him.

"Alright but let's leave the place first, the area isn't safe." Said Ye Mo taking a step back.

Liu Hualing was disappointed.

"Hmph." Pouting she turned around ready to leave but she didn't even make one step when her vision started spinning. The last thing she saw was a headless body and a young man behind with a bloody machete.

"Sorry but i only need you dead" Approaching her corpse he removed a small green pouch from her waist and stuffed it in his pocket.

In the jade forest the sun was setting and the sky was getting darker.

Under the shadows of the trees a silhouette was rushing like a canonball through the land. Ye Mo was sprinting as if his life depended on it.

After dealing with the corpses only dust remained but Ye Mo didn't expect to obtain more than ten times the life force he would get on ordinary people using the nine revolution fiend body on Liu Hualing and even more with her servants.

A massive energy was contained in his body but he couldn't restrain it much longer. He had to find a safe place to breakthrough as soon as possible or he felt his body would explode.
