"I honestly don't understand why you would leave him to go on his own."

She pinched between her brows in disbelief, and realizing that he may have sort of made an honest mistake, he let out a slight breath.

"He... went back to the human world." He finally spit it out, and Selena shifted her gaze to him.

"What? Don't tell me that he-"

"Yes, He did." Alex nodded his head and Selena rubbed her temples.

"Gosh! We need to go get him back! " She yelled and turned around to leave, but Alex grabbed her by the arm and stopped her.

"No, Selena. Let him be. He said he would return tomorrow, so please just leave him for tonight. Maybe he really needs some time alone to process things. "
