You Are Now My Wife

Lilly stole a glance at Matthew's side profile every two or three minutes since they left her parent's home. She couldn't believe that he would pick her up after her tantrum. He went to her father's study and had a talk with her father. When he came out of her father's home office, he told her that he was taking her home.

'Home.' She bit her lower lip to stop the smile that was threatening to escape from an unexplainable excitement that hit her chest. She never thought that the word home could bring her such joy.

Although Matthew remained passive this whole time, he doesn't seem angry at her or something. He just drove in silence but the air between the two of them wasn't awkward.

"You sure that's all you're going to do?"

Lilly blushed when Matthew caught her in one of her staring adventures. The smirk on Matthew's kissable lips says it all. He knew that she had been staring at him!
