Unspoken Wounds [Bonus chapter]

"Lilly Rose," she crooned, opening her arms for a hug.

Lilly Rose bite the inside of her cheek because Pete and Nana Ruby were watching and she did not want to make a scene, not after her mother's doctor talked to them and told them that her mother was suffering from an emotional breakdown for some reasons that the doctor could not tell them because of some patient-doctor confidentiality. 

They just reiterate that her mother needed all the emotional support that she could get until she was able to process her issues. 

Lilly Rose had to bite her tongue to stop herself from asking her mother's doctor if her mother seducing her husband was part of her emotional breakdown because if the doctor would say yes, she would call her a liar in her face. 

Her mother had always been the drama queen. She could not take it if she was not the main attraction in the room she was in.
