"It looks like Robert has some issues with the gambling den that he frequents," he said, pouring brandy on two glasses.

Pete accepted the glass and realized why Matthew visited him in his quarter. 

"What kind of problem?" He asked taking a sip of his drink. He did not want to drink but he could not really say no to Matthew.

"According to someone I know that was also playing in that gambling den, there was a talk that Robert was no longer allowed there. The reason was not clear though. There was a lot of hearsay but nothing confirmed." 

"It would make Robert crazy. He can't last for a long time without gambling."
