159 A Jealous Husband

Lilly Rose was laughing over Noel's joke and didn't notice that Noel was no longer laughing. He had lost some colors on his face as his sight caught a man standing a few feet away from the entrance of the cafe. 

The man who was glaring at him was Lilly Rose's husband. For what he was doing here at this hour, he had no idea. But he was also a man and he knew the look that he was giving him. 

"Hey," she slapped his arm, for he looked like he had just seen a ghost. She had been laughing so hard with Noel's dad's jokes and she could say that it was too difficult to swallow but she could not help laughing at how cringy they were.

"Are you okay?" 

"Uh, huh, uhm, I think I have forgotten something and I have to hurry back to get them." 

"Huh? What are you talking about?" She asked, confused.
