24 Three tailed fox spirit

Hold!

Sol's mind was filled with a single thought in mind as he accumulated more power while waiting for the approaching enemies. While he free-fell before using his flames to stop himself from reaching the ground, they couldn't do the same so they were slightly slower.

Sol's eyes suddenly squinted and he turned, striking out ruthlessly at a figure lone figure who appeared behind him!

Boom!

Sol's eyes narrowed as his body spiraled back under the power of the new enemy!

Hak!

[Awareness:13]

Sol's eyes chilled as he wondered what type of enemy would be able to go toe to toe with him even with this kind of power accumulated. With this kind of stat, such a person would have enough strength to go against the orc he fought at the training ground.

Ding!

[Warning! Three-tailed fox spirit spotted!]

Sol's eyes squinted as he saw the notification and his eyes squinted in realization. He believed the enemy had waited because they were paranoid, he didn't know they waited because they needed to get some sort of backup!

"Has my home become a place for dogs?" Sol's eyes turned cruel as he pressed against the massive ball of flames in his hand.

Bam!

Fierce flames exploded in his left hand as he threw it toward the direction of the approaching fox spirits.

"You don't have the leisure to bother about others when I'm around!" a petite voice rang in his spine chill!

Shit!

Sol's instincts kicked in and flames exploded from his legs, launching him into the air

Bang!

The location where he once stood had been obliterated by three white fox tails with appealing purple patterns.

Thud!

Sol landed gracefully as his calm but frosty gaze was pinned on the petite yet busty figure which should be around her early twenties.

"Why does it always have to be hot ladies?" Sol lampooned in his heart as he watched the lady approach.

[Natasha]

[Three-tailed fox spirit]

[Stats]

[Strength: 7]

[Speed: 7]

[Dexterity: 10]

[Awareness: 13]

Gulp!

Sol gulped down a mouthful of saliva as he looked ahead. In front of him was the main enemy he had to deal with now.

"You… you are growing fast. Abnormally fast… this explains why Ayla was killed… no or would have anticipated a cripple would get stronger this quick" Natasha said with cruelty in her eyes.

Anyone in his position would be terrified but instead, Sol was calm and calculative. Meeting a foe with this level of strength is no small thing. To think the fox spirits have gotten so strong that the hallow mountain has become somewhere they can dispatch experts to deal with anyone anyhow they, please!

"To think Hallow mountain has become home to mere dogs with nothing else to do but hump everything they come across for power" Sol was cruel with his words and showed no signs of hesitation as he lashed out.

Hearing his words Natasha paled. Not because of Sol's cruel words to her but the fact he knew about them.

"Setting up a sacrificial someone around the academy of Guardians to pin everyone down. I must say, a barrier that gradually consumes the strength of those trapped within it is smart. But using yourselves as the sacrificial tools for this plan is not what I expected" Sol added with a plain look on his face.

From Ayla, he got the full gist of their plan. To maintain such a sacrificial barrier, their strengths keep dropping and because of this many fox spirits have died. In a bid to survive they constantly search for men or people to sleep in hopes of absorbing their strength and prolonging their lives.

From what he was told, Ayla was once a four-tailed fox spirit but her level was reduced to two because of this. They all needed to hold out long enough for the leaders of these tribes to weaken badly. Only then will their fox queen reveal herself and kill them all.

This is a desperate and drastic move that made Sol wonder why they are so eager to occupy Hallow mountain. It almost seemed as if they were running from something but with this number of people under your command, what can possibly scare you?

The entire issue concerning the Fox spirits was far more complicated than it looks and Sol knows that. He tried to get an answer out of Ayla but he failed. It seems that none of them know why they are doing this. They simply got the order from the fox queen which led to this outcome.

"How much did she tell you?" Natasha asked as she desperately tried to suppress her killing intent but Sol could still feel it.

He grinned at her question and rubbed his hair back before speaking.

"Everything!"

Boom!

Sol's eyes widened in shock as he barely had the time to see the claws racing toward his throat!

Bang!

Sol kicked in her direction, setting off an explosion from his legs which propelled him backward, increasing the distance between him and the enemy.

Brrrr!

His hands bubbled with fierce flames, as he threw his hand forward and poured out as many flames as he could muster at that moment but it couldn't save him!

Bang!

A silver fox tail tore through the flames, stabbing into his chest!

Shit!

Sol growled in pain and quickly held onto the tail to prevent it from digging deeper into his chest.

His eyes fell on the timer and he realized he still had two minutes left to go before he would be able to awaken his bloodline power!

Crack!

Sol groaned painfully as the pressure from the silver fox tail increased and he heard a rib crack. Blood ran down his lips and his gaze remained stern. While there was one overpowered being standing ahead of him. Behind him were numerous monsters of various sizes.

Anyone in his position would feel helpless!
