19 Scyther

Rex made his way on his bike with Bellsprout on his shoulder having the time of its life moving at such a fast speed. Rex was in a good mood, having a new team member really improved his already good mood. Soon he found a good place to rest and brought out his pokemon. There was no river or lake so Gyarados had to just sit there, he didn't seem to mind since he was preoccupied with training and eating his meal. Machop was the same he just sat down and ate his food quietly. It was safe to say the Machop matured a lot at a fast pace. He was always training seriously trying to aim to beat Bruno's Machamp ever since he saw it on tv. Rex didn't seem to mind but the Bellsprout on his shoulder was astonished at the aura coming off of Machop. it finally realised that his dad was lucky he didn't face this monster. if Gyarados was a monster then he didn't quite know what the machop was. Looking at how disciplined and strong they were motivated Bellsprout to work hard. After the system scanned Bellsprout and analysed what food it liked Rex prepared it and handed it to him before beginning his series of training. It started off with the manipulation of his energy. currently, he was weak and needed to be able to use his moves effectively. as for physical exercise, that could be postponed for later.

Rex was very satisfied with the stats since he didn't expect anything crazy from a Bellsprout. He had a good couple of days before he would face that simp Brock so he was sure he would be able to get Bellsprout to the level of strength necessary to evolve then he will use brock to evolve him. at least that was the plan. Rex now got Bellsprout to focus on increasing the efficiency of his energy by constantly using his moves. He used Giga drain on plants and used vine whip constantly in order to increase its accuracy and power. he then focused on using sleep & poison powder constantly in order to increase the potency and quantity of the moves. Rex then sat down next to Machop and began to do their aura training as usual. The hour passed like this and it was about 2 o'clock in the afternoon when he decided to pack up put everyone in their Pokeball's and head out to catch himself a scyther. he was going to use the same strategy he used on Bellsprout but he didn't really want to waste time impressing them and all. he would just lead with Machop and demolish the opposition and leave with a Scyther simple as that. he already had the metal coat ready to entice the leader of the Scythers.

And that's exactly what happened, Rex soon arrived and was once again surrounded by scyther's. he didn't really care and directly offered the same deal he offered the Victreebell. The Scyther didn't even hesitate and agreed. Rex nodded and threw out machop. He didn't want to play around since he was feeling tired from the aura training.

Rex "Machop we're both tired so let's just finish this off in one hit, use thunder punch," he said lazily as he yawned. Machop was also tired but he still took the battle seriously. Machop rushed towards the Scyther who was immensely pissed off at Rex's attitude but before it could even react to the sudden disappearance of the Machop, he appeared in his face before sending him flying at immense speed before crashing on a nearby boulder. Machop was still covered in massive amounts of lightning energy as he sped up again and vanished from his spot, he almost looked like the flash. It was majestic and he zipped around before jumping and spinning at a very fast pace and smashing his fist on Scyther. the battle ended just like that. Rex recalled the celebrating Machop after giving him his signature fist bump. Rex made his way over to The Scyther who was almost unconscious and gave him a sitrus berry to heal up.

Rex "as agreed call out your kin please," he said with a smile before yawning again. he really couldn't help it he was feeling really tired today for some reason and so was Machop they were in a bad mood for a while so he didn't want to beat around the bush but he also didn't want to be rude since this could make a bad impression on the pokemon he was going to choose. The Scyther nodded and called out before his family appeared. Rex looked around and spotted a Scyther that was looking at all of his brothers and sisters with a lot of arrogance. Rex could feel that it was powerful it seemed to be the bully of the younger generation. Rex didn't mind since in nature it was survival of the fittest. As Rex looked at the scyther it also looked at Rex but not with its normal arrogance but with longing. it wasn't a begging gaze nor was it over the top but he looked at Rex as if he already knew he was getting picked. So naturally, he walked forward under the stupified gaze of his family and stood face to face with Rex. Rex grinned at the actions of this scyther and knew that machop had gained a strong sparring partner. He directly cut to the chase.

Rex " do you want to be as strong as my Machop?" he asked almost rhetorically since he already knew the answer. Scyther didn't know any of this and just nodded very seriously as he remembered the complete dominance Machop had over his father who he deemed as a very strong pokemon in this forest. seeing that Scyther nodded with such determination Rex smiled even wider and pulled out a Pokeball and placed it in front of Scythers head. Scyther knew what to do and gently hit his head on the Pokeball and got sucked in. he didn't resist.

Rex looked at the Pokeball with a satisfied smile and said his goodbye's to the scyther family as he began to make his way towards Pewter city. Over the course of the next few days, he purposefully stayed in the forest in order to level up his pokemon. Rex wanted to teach Bellsprout Sunny day and he could but it was too slow to unleash it at its current strength, even though he was already suppressing his evolution. The system instructed Rex to suppress its evolution in order to maximise the potential of Bellsprout, and so he did. As for Scyther Rex observed his stats.

Rex was very happy with his stats and moves. he once again realised how strong the system was. it took into consideration that the growth of bug type pokemon is very high at an early stage and not only maximised its growth potential it even slightly increased it, as seen by the insane speed and attack. He didn't plan on evolving him for a while since he had a ton of potential he can squeeze before he is limited by his body.

He and the system came up with a training schedule for him as well, it was Gyarados using hydro pump while under the effects of rain dance and Bellsprout using vine whip to hit scyther. it was rough at the beginning as it was just Scyther getting butt fucked constantly, but soon his talent shined through as he began to read the pattern of the attacks and slowly started to dodge them. After that, he would spar with Machop. sadly for Scyther, there was nothing he will ever do that will beat the mountain that is machop, after all not only is Machop ready to evolve he's been suppressing it recently so that he can maximize his still large amount of untapped potential. Scyther was just getting a beatdown constantly no matter what he did or tried, Scyther was fast but machop learned thanks to the system, to enhance his body's speed and nervous system using Lightning punch. (think of it as lightning body jutsu the fourth raikage uses). Scyther was aghast at the power. even though all the beatdowns he didn't falter or stop and kept getting up stimulating his potential. just as Rex guess they were perfect sparring partners. After all that training his four pokemon and himself sat down around the fire and had their dinner as they laughed and heard Rex's exciting stories about a giant tyranitar called Godzilla and a massive slaking called king kong rumble and fight destroying cities. His pokemon loved it and laughed as they cheered for Godzilla sometimes and sometimes for King Kong. Just like that bedtime arrived and they all slept around Rex under the starry night sky.

somewhere dark back on earth a man shrouded in shadows sat behind a desk in the head position with a bunch of other empty seats forming a circle. Behind him stood a massive black 3 meters tall 4 arm creature. They were watching the tapes of a young man with a Black machop smashing the legs of a bunch of team rocket grunts.

Mystery man "ahaha, seems Giovanni found something very interesting, don't you think so umbra?" he said to the pokemon behind him without turning around. The pokemon didn't say anything but the man knew that he agreed.

Mystery man "seems I'll have to take a trip to Kanto after all"
