Our long awaited meeting, has come at last

An: two chapters today. Hope you enjoy!

This was a new move it had come up with, it was the culmination of all his hard work. Something that could not be blocked, cannot be dodged and was guaranteed to kill. There were only a very very small amount of people who could potentially survive. That being, his big brother Machamp, big brother Steelix, his brother and legendaries on the level of Dialga. Arceus was also included obviously. But apart from that, it was an instakill move.

The sword dissipated and Marshadow straightened and gazed up at the castle with a serious look on his face. He walked up the massive amounts of stone steps that lead to the castle doors. With every step getting heavier and heavier emotionally.

FWOOOOSH

The massive steel doors flung open as he got close. A luxurious and pristine indoor area full of furniture and everything of the sort. It was a massive contrast to the outside world. But there was a layer of dust on most stuff. A layer so thick it looked solid.

Marshadow walked up the spiral stairs that lead to the topmost floor where the throne room was held, his steps echoing through the stone walls, the dimly lit torches with a green fire constantly fluttering in the non-existent wind gave it a creepy vibe.

And finally, a set of smaller yet far grander and awe-inspiring diamond doors appeared in front of him.

CREEEEAAAAK

The doors slowly opened with his gentle push, and a simple room came into view, a red carpet adorned the floor, chairs strew all over the floor, some broken, some still intact. Everything had a layer of dust on it. like it had not been used in centuries.

And finally, in the middle of the room, a golden throne with demons carved into the armrests could be seen. And sitting on the throne, a tall figure, with one arm supporting his resting head. his body was completely black as if he was wearing a tightly fitting ninja consume. Wisps of green, jade coloured smoke that almost looked solid swirled around him like snakes.

His face was framed in a golden crown that stretched up into golden horns that were half submerged within his long billowing white hair. Only the ends were black. In the middle of his forehead, a red crystal was situated releasing a golden smoke-like substance.

His face was featureless, only a pair of golden flame-like eyes could be seen. A sense of oppression seeped out of him, yet it looked effortless like he wasn't even trying. But it was so strong that it matched Machamps. But it was different. Machamp's aura inspired awe and reverence. This one, on the other hand, inspired fear and dread.

Marshadow had experienced both, and he knew that the being in front of him was as deadly as big brother Machamp and big brother Steelix.

The two siblings stared at each other with hundreds of thoughts surging through their minds like unending waves on a windy day.

But when their gaze locked, it was like the air froze and both vanished from sight.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE

The entire top floor was destroyed in an instant. The walls were vaporised, the roof disintegrated into nothingness as not even the dust was left behind. Only a crumbled floor and two monstrous figures could be seen in the middle as their fists connected with each other.

There was a brief silence as they stared at each other.

{PFFFFFT! HAHAHAHAHA! THAT'S MY BROTHER! YOU'RE BACK!} the tall figure bellowed as he burst into laughter.

Marshadow also burst into warm hearty laughter and opened his arms before hugging his big brother. They stayed like that for several minutes as they silently embraced each other. They had not been able to do this for more than a millenia.

"You have suffered greatly brother," Marshadow said as tears streamed down his eyes and onto his older brother's shoulder.

The latter smiled softly, {that is no longer of any importance. You are back, safe and sound. That is all that matters.} he said calmly. But a small shake could be heard in his voice. Something Marshadow had picked up on. It only served to pull at his soul even more. The pain he was feeling just imagining his brother's fate was eating away at him.

{Come come, sit down at tell me everything you've experienced all these years. After all, it took you 300 years to get here. I'm surprised you're even alive.} he said while beckoning Marshadow over to the seats he had pulled from the void.

"I wasn't awake for so long. I have only been awake for 2 years brother," Marshadow revealed with a melancholic gaze.

{WHAT! How is that possible?! I sent you to earth right as our sentence was over. How can you have only awoken 2 years ago?} he asked puzzled by the sudden revelation.

"I suspect it to be the work of Arceus. I have long come to suspect that he couldn't outright kill us off himself. So he set us up with all these restrictions to force us into so much despair that we would kill ourselves. And for the ones that did survive, they would be old and brittle. So the three hundred years of hibernation would have killed them off.

Effectively ending our race. But according to the memories you gave me, you froze me in place. No matter the reason, you actually managed to save my life in the process. When I awoke, I found myself on an island…" Marshadow began to explain his journey since awakening.

He then went on to tell his brother about Rex, about his monstrous Pokémon which shocked his brother tremendously. But anger instantly raged within him as he struggled to stay sane.

{A HUMAN DARED TO ENSLAVE YOU TO THIS POKEBALL THING?!} He bellowed; the entire domain seemed to shake for a moment shocking Marshadow to his core.
