2 The Story Begins...

(Bruce) "..."

(???) "..."

silence...

(God) "Well anyways, I'm God"

Bruce stares at God with a confused look on his face, rubs his eyes, and tries to piece everything that happened together

(Bruce) "God, as in, the guy who created everything"

God stares back with a somewhat interested look in his eye

(God) "Yes, I'm that God, and you don't have to say anything else, I'll know exactly what your going to say or do before you even say or do it, well anyways to sum it all up, you died, your here now, you get two choices, go to heaven, or reincarnate"

(Bruce) "t-"

Before Bruce can say his first word a word God interrupts

(God) "That sounds like something straight out of an isekai, I know"

(Bruce) 'He really did know exactly what I was going to say...'

God grins at Bruce, God acts and sounds like some sort of energetic grandpa who doesn't get to spend enough time with his grand kids

(God) "Yes I do, and always will know, and before you can ask yes I can predict and hear your thoughts too"

God lets out a small laugh and then composes himself again

(God) "Anyways, I already know that you are going to choose the reincarnation option, I'm just going to go ahead and speed things up and choose it for you now, okay"

(Bruce) "But-"

(God) "I know, alright. I'm only able to talk to you for a little bit longer here, and if I didn't choose an option for you you'd take way to long to choose one because of all the questions you have about them. In the end you choose the reincarnation option so all I'm doing is speeding up the process"

(Bruce) "..."

(God) "I also know what you want to say next. If your God, time shouldn't be relevant here right. Well that would be correct, but the reason why I'm on a time limit here is due to the fact that I don't just manage the universe, if it where that easy I would be able to stay here and talk with you forever. Instead I have to manage all of reality, and not just that, theirs more out there than humanity could ever comprehend. So even tho-"

All of a sudden a beautiful voice rings throughout the void interrupting God, giving God a cold sweat on his forehead

(Angel) "Go~d"

The angel hovers behind God with her eyes closed and a sweet yet unnerving smile on her face

(God) "Y-yes"

(Angel) "You've still got a lot of work to do~o"

(God) "W-well I know, its just-"

(Angel) "Just what God"

The angels smile turns into a frown as she opens her eyes and stares at God pitifully, her soothing voice turning cold

(God) "I-I-I, um, still need to reincarnate this young man over here you see!!! I'm not trying to slack off, I'm just-"

(Angel) "Not good enough! You already know what he's going to say or do, so just hurry up and reincarnate him already! You've wasted enough time as it is and the-"

The angel then begins to ramble on about things that a human couldn't possibly understand whilst dragging God away with other angels showing up to help

God then yells to Bruce while he's being dragged away

(God) "I'm sorry we couldn't chat for much longer! I'll go ahead and reincarnate you here in a bit-, stop it you stupid angels I get it already, stop dragging me please!"

Whilst God is busy trying to deal with the angels, Bruce all of a sudden finds himself in another void, different from the one he was in before. This void was black like the first void was before god showed up, except there's tiny little star like lights dotting it

(Bruce) 'God sure loves voids doesn't he. Well, not that it matters all that much. I do wonder what it'll be like when I reincarnate though. I hope I don't end up reincarnated back on earth, I could end up as a mosquito for all I know. Well I wouldn't have choose the reincarnation option if there was a chance that could happen... And since God said I'd have chose the reincarnation option anyway, even after asking him tons of questions, it kind of helps reassure me that everything's going to be alright, well, the best possible scenario for me would be a fantasy world filled with magic like the ones on anime'

After a couple of minutes Bruce is engulfed in light and starts to slowly black out

(Bruce) 'well, here's the moment of truth...'

A few seconds later, Bruce blacks out, and he's instantly transported to the new world

(Meanwhile) [Pretty much a side story with some lore mixed in]

On the edge of the continent of Gaia, a medium sized, human controlled country called Tsunami is stirring. The country is well known around the continent for its trade of materials that can only be found in the ocean, but recently there's been a lot of unrest in the country due to its very own military taking control over. This takeover only lead to more uprisings throughout the country and eventually a small corner of the country declared independence from Tsunami, calling itself Typhoon. Many people fled to Typhoon in the hopes that it would grow and prosper, as it was gaining the support of many of the surrounding country's. Not out of the kindness out of their hearts like many in Typhoon believed, but out of greed, as Tsunami had shut down all trade when the military took over. And if Typhoon was able to survive, or maybe even reclaim Tsunami as their own. Then the supporting country's would be in a favorable position for trade. Sadly, a large amount of citizens where unable to flee to Typhoon in time, as Tsunami had closed its borders and snuffed out all rebellion within its borders. The military then proceeded to establish a dictatorship with highly strict laws, and extremely severe punishments for those that broke them. Tsunami made an unexpected move after its takeover however, as it proceeded to officially recognize Typhoon as an official country. However, not long after they recognized Typhoon as a country, they declared war on it. With their casus belli being that Typhoon was harboring rebel groups, conspiring with other country's to invade Tsunami, sending spies into Tsunami, and the mobilization of troops into Tsunami territory. All of which are true...

While the war between Tsunami and Typhoon is underway, multiple large groups of adventurers and merchants have banded together, planning on sailing out of Tsunami in hopes of finding some sort of new island, continent, or whatever land might be out there. If they do they will be starting a new life there, on the hope that life there will be far better than the living hell called Tsunami. They barely managed to escape Tsunami in one piece, losing a couple of ships in the escape. However, in their desperation, they forgot the horrific creatures lurking in the deep ocean, the reason why there was an unspoken rule that every sailor knew. That rule was to never venture into the farthest and deepest waters of the ocean, as many knew from experience the horrors that dwell there. Those groups of adventurers and merchants got lucky escaping Tsunami, but the horrific creatures that lurk beneath the ocean waves will prove to be much more difficult to deal with, and they'll be much more terrifying than Tsunami will ever be
