Chapter 9 : So What?

Giorfio spreads his arms like he would want too hug me and his smile looks a lot like Andre's. But I know that he is here just to feel sorry for me. He takes my hand and kisses it like he did the first time, but he feels uncomfortable. I can feel it. I mean I do too. He quickly apologizes :" I have to... hmmmm... Take care of some business." He takes his briefcase of the soft armchair and raises his hand in a sign of goodbye.

Andre asks :" Do you want to drink something? Whiskey, tequila..." He stops and realizes :" And I bet you don't drink. Coffee, tea..." I stop him and say gratefully :" Tea will be fine." He nods and smiles in his own embarrassment . Andre goes through his hair and slicks back a tiny lock, that was unruly falling on his forehead. He says in British accent :" Would you like some tea, love?" I join him and answer :" Please, my dear." He winks at me and we walk into their kitchen.

He sits me behind their granit island in the middle of this huge kitchen and fills a teapot with some warm water. Andre turns on a stove and puts a porcelan teapot on it. He takes some cookies of the countertop and offers me one. I take it and Andre does too. When I bite into it I think. Oh. My. God. That's definitely the best cookie I have ever had. He must have noticed my smile from that unbelievable explosion of aromas in my mouth. He looks at me from under his eyebrows and more confirms than asks :" The best cookies on the Earth, right?" A small grin crawls on my lips as I say :" They truly are. Did you bake them?"I smile at this thought and invision Andre in an apron. He blushes and smiles :" I actually kind of did," when I open my mouth in a complete disbelief, to say something, he quickly adds :" I mean, I helped," he goes on as I give him THE LOOK :" Ok, I licked the dough. And I was adding some sugar and flour too." I sarcastically clap and say :" Go you!" He smiles and says :" Did I tell you how good you look today?" I blush like a little girl and smile. Did I mention that his smile is adorable? Oh, and that he is crazy hot too?
