Chapter3: A Little Success for future

we were running in a thick forest covered in snow, so we were able to escape. she confirmed that we are out of their sight. she looked at me, I was also tense because I didn't know what was happening. so I stayed silent. she then put me in the trunk of the tree. her hands were shaking. I start feeling sleepy maybe because of that kid's body. she covered me in her coat.

"dear wait here till mommy come back. just don't speak. I will come back and pick you up. okay?"

her eyes were teary. so she was her mother.

"Okay but please come back"

I said because I also wanted to stay with her, I didn't know where I was. so it was better to stay by her side. she then removed her pendant from her neck and put it around my neck. patted on my head, and started putting shrubs to cover the truck of a tree. my eyes were not able to see her anymore. it was dark and cold. my eyes were also teary because I didn't have a mother in my previous life. so seeing the woman saving her child who was not even her, make me cry a lot. I started feeling tired and sleepy.

Because my friend who was a huge fan of "The Snow Prince". i dislike the ending of the story. All I did was console my friend by cursing at the author. Do I have to endure that big punishment? after coming back to my consciousness I came to know that an old woman who was passing by near picked me up when she was hunting for some rabbits to eat, but saw me freezing in cold after that I was in her care because of sympathy. She told me she waited there but no one came for me. So, she took me to a doctor. we traveled together for many months together, it was now mid of spring. when I heard that the duke and duchess of Anivila have adopted a daughter after their real daughter's death. the only name I remembered from the novel was the kingdom name and there I knew I was in a novel. So probably it was the shitty ending of the whole story. but why do I care?...

The grandmother took me. We were living with her son and daughter-in-law. These sh***y people did nothing but always get angry at grandma for taking me in. man it's not like I was dying to live with you and your wife. The only thing I wanted was a shelter for some years until I settle in this world. But my bad luck didn't let me go in this time too. It misses me so much, that it didn't wait a year so I could find an orphanage. The grandma who was taking care of me died because of overwork. I was running from there but saw a carriage on my way. the carriage's tire was broken just a moment after I arrived there.

"Hey! little girl, do you know any man who lives near?"

the coachman said looking at me. I looked around because I thought he was asking someone else.

"you! call a man who can help replace the wheel with me"

"am I your maid or something ?"

" you little...."

"what's happening here?. can not you do it fast"

A man came out of the carriage who looked like a Nobel. the nobleman interrupts us and starts scrolling him. He had red hair and green eyes. He was actually a handsome man who was like a man in his 20s. He then looked at me.

He was shocked like he saw a ghost, maybe because of my white hair. He came near me and sat on his knees. He was so shocked. He suddenly hugged me and asked.

"where are your parents?"

not only me even the coachman was shocked by this action.

"I don't have any I am an orphan"

"Where do you live?"

should I answer him right. he doesn't look like a bad man.

"I'm going to an orphanage because the grandma I was living with died and her son is a scumbag"

"would you like to eat something? I have some sweets with me"

I was feeling hungry too because I had been walking for at least two hours.

"Okay if you want me to have it that badly. "

He smiled and asked the other servant to bring some. he was patting my head while I was eating. I think he is a good man. I should stay with him for my own better. Back in my orphanage kid would hug the leg of people who come to adopt them and it was a 100% successive method, I didn't have charm in my previous life but now I was like a whole truck of charm. So, I will try my best that take me with him. He stood up but his face wasn't happy. I should do it now or never. I hugged his leg tightly as tight as I was able to.

"Please take me with you."
