Nightmare Three

The moment he left, Aarav came near her, opened her drawer and took the lollipops. She stared him questioningly. "No lollipops in my cabin" he said rudely and moved to his chair.

"Am not eating now, I just kept it in my drawer" she said angrily without even looking at him. "Shut up" this made her to grit her teeth.

"Monster" she muttered furiously. "Can you say it a bit loudly" he taunted her with a smirk. She instantly forced a smile at him and then became very serious. She tried her best to concentrate in her works.

He looked at those lollipops and a slight smile played on his lips when he thought of her childishness. She didn't notice it. He kept those in his drawer and started to plan about how to stop Adi from dropping her.

She finally finished her work by 5.30pm and she couldn't say how much she was happy that any second she will leave his cabin. But he smirked reading her thoughts and at the same time Adi knocked and came in.

"What" Aarav questioned him with serious stare.

"Nothing Bhai, just thought to drop Arushi (he looked at her) as Jia has taken her scooty" Adi now looked at Aarav while Arjun waved at her from the doorway.

"Who said her work is finished?" saying this he looked at her sharply while her happiness slowly faded with a shock one.

"But you said I have to work till 5:30pm" She slowly spilled it.

"Yes, but now I remembered some unfinished ones" he said calmly looking straight in her eyes. She blinked her eyes as it started to betray and her lips went thin due to his behavior.

"But Bhai, the weather is getting worst outside. She should better leave now" Adi said calmly while Arjun too nodded agreeing it.

Aarav simply looked at them.

"I mean Bhai, she will have trouble in reaching home" Adi is clearly trying his best to take her with him but Aarav can easily sense it.

"Enough" he roared "I will drop her, now you two leave" he said just like that.

That's it. Adi knew that they can't do anything now, so he gently touched her shoulder and blinked her with a smile. She forced a smile in return and signaled them to go.

She didn't show anything but was actually terrified with the thought of staying with Aarav all alone; only the security guard will be there in the outside gate.

She tried her best to stay calm and turned towards him. "What's the work Sir" she asked politely maintaining her composure.

"Will let you know" saying this he settled in his seat. She was clearly fuming now as she can say that he's thinking of the extra work right now only.

"Monster" she muttered slowly and opened her drawer thinking of the lollipops but reality hit her and she was crestfallen.

She gulped her tears and when she sensed his piercing stare she turned her face away from him. She felt suffocating, so stood and moved towards the door.

"Where are you going?" he questioned her.

"Do I have to get permission from you?" she stood near the door with her back towards him.

"Yes" he gritted noticing her attitude.

"To the restroom" she now turned to him "Am I at school" she spitted sarcastically to which he just had his trademark smirk.

"Grow up" she was actually irked by his words and also that smirk. She simply moved without waiting for his reply.

"What the" he couldn't reach her as she has left already. While in the restroom, Arushi felt so exhausted. She's hungry, her legs were shaking, her back is aching like anything…

She grinded her teeth thinking of Aarav and finally she cried letting her tears out. After five minutes, she washed her face and reached his cabin.

She was stunned to see the whole mess there. She saw printed papers laying each and every corner of the room and lots of them to be more specific. When she looked up he just smirked as if waiting for her reaction.

"Arushi, by mistake all the documents slipped from these files" he uttered as if nothing had happened. She took a deep breath and looked at him for his further known instruction.

"Fix this" with that he walked towards the door. She knew that he had done this purposely. "Which files" she said with determination. He pointed his desk and moved out.

"Oh god" saying this she went to check the files. If he has thought that she will apologize for these tortures, then he's very mistaken. He doesn't even know her. It was already 6pm and thankfully those files are the ones which she had checked previously.

But it was purely hell to align them with the page numbers even with the backup she had in her laptop. When she finished it, the time ticked 8pm. Her head started to spin while the rain is pouring heavily. She drank a bit of water from the desk and steadied herself.

What she didn't expect was the sudden heavy lightning which flashed outside followed by heavy thunders and they took the Power with it.

Arushi can manage anything but not these darkness and thunders. She sat in the corner and started chanting her prayers.

Her whole body started to shiver in fear. Tears started to well up. She didn't even have a clue about using her cell as only her fear occupied her mind.

Aarav who actually took a nap in the guest room came out when the power went off. He yelled "Security" and that person came running holding a torch.

"Go and switch on the generator" he ordered him. "Don't know what happened to Arushi" saying this he turned to move.

"Sir, Arushi Madam is very afraid of darkness and thunders" he said to his shock. "What" he didn't know about this and so took the extra torch from his other hand and ran towards his cabin.

There he saw Arushi in a terrible state. "Arushi" hearing his voice she looked at him with tear strained face. She stood instantly and ran towards him. Without giving a thought, she hugged him tightly and started to cry her heart out which stiffened him a bit.

He felt her shiver and forgot about everything. He gently wrapped his one hand around her waist and held her head in another. He didn't know why but clearly he couldn't stand to watch her like this. His heart ached and he was taken aback with this effect.

Suddenly the light came and Arushi realized that she was in his wrap. She instantly freed her from him and wiped her tears. She fumed like a volcano as this is all due to him.

"Arushi" he started but next second she fainted making him to hold her safely. He lifted her and made her to settle in the couch. He felt guilty as due to his rage he didn't even allowed her to take her food.

"Damn it" saying this he checked the time and it was 9pm. He came out and asked the security to get some food. With a nod the security went out.

Rain is still pouring heavily. He tried to wake her up by gently tapping on her cheek. But nothing happened. He then went towards his table and took a lollipop and kept it in her mouth. Very slowly she started to have it.

By 9.45pm, the security returned with two parcels. Placing it on the table he went out. Aarav opened the parcel and sat near her in the chair. He then slowly stuffed the roti's in her mouth. She started to chew it semi consciously.

After feeding her, he came to his table and had his parcel as he too felt hungry. He didn't miss to look at her who's sleeping like an innocent child. He felt really guilty.

By 12am, the rain has subsided and Aarav tried to wake her up. But when she didn't wake, he asked the security to bring her bag, while he lifted her gently and walked towards his Mercedes. He watched her face. It was so clear but pale due to exhaustion.

Then after confirming the route from the security, he took her to her home. There Madhu was waiting for her as it was nearly 1am. He lifted her and walked towards her.

She scared but he calmed her saying that Arushi is just fine. She showed the way to her room. He walked towards her room and he felt very excited not knowing why. It was a nice room with baby pink color wall along with curtains. He settled her on the bed which had stars hanging around it. By this time Jia too joined them. Without uttering anything he left her place and started towards his mansion.
