"Lady Lucifer, you still need to look over these documents."

"But I don't wanna!" Serena Lucifer, formerly Gremory, cried out as she slammed her forehead on her desk; which caused the stacked paperwork to lose balance and fall on top of her head. Followed by another weight caused by, Serena assumed, Grayfia putting more paper directly on her head.

"Lady Lucifer, please do not forget your place as the leader of the devil race. You have far too many responsibilities to waste time acting like a child." The silver haired maid declared with a glare as Serena looked up to her with tears in her eyes, yet Grayfia showed no signs of remorse or any chances of letting her go.

Honestly, she couldn't help but wonder what kind of masochist she was to fall in love and marry a hard ass like Grayfia. Still...

"But I wanna go home and see my little Ria!"

"Lady Rias is currently at school in the human world." Grayfia shot her wishes down immediately.

"Then I'll just have to go to her school in the human world!" But Serena would not be deterred! She would fight for her right to be with her sister till the bitter end!

"No." Or she could just be shut down like that, that was cool too and no she wasn't saying that because she was afraid of what Grayfia might do to her.

Seeing no other option, she simply kept going through the paperwork as she cursed the day she decided to accept her job. She hadn't even wanted this job, she had wanted to be a music teacher and would have been one if she hadn't gotten involved in that stupid civil war after the Old Satan faction murdered her first batch of students. It had been damn fun killing Damaidosu Asmodeus though, stupid long named bastard.

And now here she was, the damn Satan of the Internal Affairs. Meaning that she had to deal with all the dumbasses that tried to be dicks to each other in her faction. And people came bitchin whenever she tried to use her newfound political powers for her family, her cute little Ria specifically. What was the point of holding an office of power if she couldn't get away with nepotism?!

As she kept thinking about the unfair treatment she was getting from the government that she was technically the leader of, a small tingling sense appeared in the back of her head and a huge smile appeared on Serena's face as she realized what it was.

"Sorry Grayfia, I need to leave." Serena said as she got up from her seat, which had the immediate reaction of her wife glaring at her in a way that both terrified and did weird things to her. "I am being summoned for a contract." Which was then replaced by a look of surprise.

It was understandable. Serena was the current fucking Lucifer, she was not exactly someone who could be summoned nilly willy. Throughout the years she only had been summoned by those who held incredible power, politically or personally. Her current knight Okita was one of such people of power. So had been that German dude with a weird mustache, she hadn't made a contract with that weirdo though. The point was, not anyone could just summon her.

Except they could.

It was a genius plan made by Serena about two years ago after a huge argument with her father, who was being a huge meanie that would not dissolve Ria's engagement to that prick Riser. It was after that fight Serena had the great idea that might help her annul the engagement.

Summoning pamphlets.

She was already trying to find the best legal way to help her sister without getting in trouble, so she thought that by dispersing some specially made summoning pamphlets in random location, she could also get some extra help from luck factor. Summoning pamphlets that bypassed the whole requirement thing and just summoned her. By doing so there would be a chance for her to end up meeting new people and the chance to find a new factor that could help Ria. One might claim doing such a thing was foolish but to those she would ask.

Who could actually take advantage of such a thing?

She was Serena Lucifer, one of the ten strongest beings in the world, there literally wasn't a magician in the world that could use those pamphlets against her and not end up as non existence due to her Power of Destruction.

Those were her thoughts as she let the magic of the pamphlet take her away, leaving Grayfia alone with the paperwork, and opened her eyes in... a small apartment room?

"Huh, what do you know, it actually worked." And a young man around her own sister's age with black hair and glasses. "Not gonna lie, I wasn't expecting this." And one that seemed to have no idea about supernatural. Which meant he wasn't exactly the super rare factor that could help her sister.

Oh well, he was the normal rare factor that got her out of doing paperwork; that was fine too.

"Hello young man, I believe that you were the one who summoned me with a wish." She said with a smile, trying to appear nonthreatening and friendly, which shouldn't be so hard since she was beautiful and sexy and cute!

"Yes, yes I do believe I am." The young man said as he wiped his glasses clean with a handkerchief before putting them back on. "I'm Doyle by the way, Doyle Jones." He introduced himself as he offered his hand for a shake, which Serena took with a smile.

"Serena Lucifer, the current leader of the devil race." She introduced herself. "And can I tell you how pleasantly surprised I am about the fact that you are willing to shake a devil's hand?"

"Thought that there probably wasn't much that you could do by shaking my hand than you could without it." He said with a chuckle and Serena laughed lightly too. She liked this human, he was fun.

"I guess you're right. So, why did you summon me?" She asked as she looked around the room, trying to find a clue about his desire that led to him summoning her.

"I wanna learn magic."

"...that's it?"

"Yup." He nodded. "I knew the magic was real, and kind of just got my proof with you, but I don't really know of anyone to teach me." He said with a shrug and Serena narrowed her eyes.

To be perfectly honest, what he was asking wasn't such a big deal. Hell, about twenty three percent of devil summonings were about learning magic; old man Pheles had gotten damn famous for it. The problem was that she was the current Lucifer. If someone actually learned that she taught a human magic, and that person was not impressive enough for the tastes of the old guard, she would have to deal with them bitching about it for years!

"That is a vague wish." She said with a hum. "Is there anything you can tell me about yourself, something that's interesting enough to make me teach you? Hell, if it's interesting enough, I will even give you a huge discount." She declared, pleased with her own generosity. Who says devils can't control their greed?

"Well, I guess I have this." Doyle said as he clapped his hands and a door appeared out of nowhere between them!

For a moment, Serena wondered if her senses were betraying her. Checking if the kid had a sacred gear was the first thing she did in their conversation, right when they were shaking hands! And he had claimed to know no magic, so what the hell was this?!

"You coming?" Yet the kid acted like this was a normal occurrence as he walked through the gate and disappeared, leaving Serena alone in the room. She thought about leaving, but in the end her curiosity overpowered her caution and followed after him.

And by the Satans, she was glad that she did.

Purple sky, lush flora as far as her eyes could see on one side and a sea on the other. It was a beautiful landscape, reminding her of some of the godly realms she had been to.

"I've been able to call this place as long as I could remember." And Doyle was just sitting on a tree branch. "I have some amount of control over the flora and can establish rules with reward and punishments."

"Rules?" Serena asked with a raised eyebrow, roused from her little daydream.

"Yeah, things like 'do not attack me' or 'do not hurt the trees'. There are some other more complicated ones but those ones are kind of hard." He said as he got up from his branch. "You broke the rules, the place starts to punish you. The punishments are random though, so I can't really know what they'll be." He admitted with a sigh.

"And the rewards?" The redheaded devil asked, rather interested in this fascinating discovery.

"Those need you to do some favors for me. The bigger the favor, bigger the reward. It an be something like instant healing from minor sicknesses to increased learning speed while in the demiplane, that's what I call this place." Doyle said and kept describing other possible rewards but Serena did not listen to anything further than 'increased learning speed'. Who could have thought?

"Doyle, I believe this is the start of a very productive relationship."

He was a super rare factor that could help her after all.
